Bollywood’s latest blockbuster Drishyam2 is now streaming on OTT

Drishyam 2 is now streaming on Amazon Prime. The film was a massive blockbuster at the box office and revived the Hindi market after a long time, much to the happiness of theater owners and distributors.

Drishyam 2, starring Ajay Devgn has finally been dropped on OTT online in India. The film is a sequel to Drishyam which released in 2015. Drishyam 2 is now available to view and download online on Amazon Prime Video.

Drishyam 2 also stars Tabu, Shriya Saran and Akshaye Khanna. Even though Drishyam 2 is still running success in theaters across India, Amazon has released it on their Prime Video OTT platform.

Amazon had indeed offered early access to watch Drishyam 2 online on Prime Video by renting it out from the Prime Video Store. The Drishyam 2 on rent from Prime Video was priced at Rs 199 with SD, HD and UHD video quality. However, now the regular subscribers of Amazon can watch the film without paying the extra amount.

Drishyam 2 is set seven years after the events of the first part and finds the Salgaonkar family in the middle of struggles once again as Vijay Salgaonkar tries to protect his family. Drishyam 2 has received rave reviews and commercial success as well, with an 8.4 IMDb rating and has grossed over 342 crores worldwide.

Varisu and Thunivu dropped on day2 at box office

Varisu and Thunivu released for Pongal 2023 amidst massive expectations with fans eager to watch Vijay vs Ajith clash once again at the box office. Both the films received mixed reviews and it was the stardom of Thala and Thalapathy which got the movies off to a massive opening despite mixed word of mouth.

Varisu opened with above-average reports and Thunivu with average reports both movies were affected by pre-festival and mixed word of mouth. On opening day also Thunivu had a very good opening and Varisu, comparatively had a lower opening. The second day saw further drops in collection due to the working day effect. However, both these films are expected to grow big on festival days.

H Vinoth has directed this heist action drama Thunivu while Boney Kapoor produced it. Thunivu/ Thegimpu marks the third collaboration between Ajith, Vinoth, and Boney Kapoor. Prior to Thunivu, the trio worked in Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai. Apart from Ajith Kumar, the film features Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, and John Kokken in key roles.

Vijay’s Varisu also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Sarathkumar, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Sham, and Prakash Raj in key roles. Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Cinema is bankrolling this project directed by Vamsi Paidipally.

కథ:

వాల్తేరు వీరయ్య సినిమా కమర్షియల్ ఎలిమెంట్స్ తో నిండిపోయింది. కాగా ఇందులో అభిమానులకు కావాల్సిన ‘పూనకాలు’ మూమెంట్స్ చాలానే ఉన్నాయి. కానీ ఇది సేఫ్ రూట్ లో ఉండటానికి తీసిన మరో రొటీన్ కమర్షియల్ ఎంటర్ టైనర్ మరియు మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి లోని నటుడికి ఆయన సామర్థ్యానికి తగిన న్యాయం చేయలేదు. రొటీన్ కథ, సన్నివేశాలు ఈ చిత్రానికి అతి పెద్ద లోపాలుగా చెప్పుకోవచ్చు. దర్శకుడు బాబీ ఈ రొటీన్ సబ్జెక్ట్ కు స్క్రీన్ ప్లే, ట్రీట్ మెంట్ లో కొత్తదనం ఆపాదించే ప్రయత్నం చేయాల్సింది.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya has been released today amid massive expectations among mega fans and audience, and it is receiving a good response.

Waltair Veerayya talk is out now, and the film needs to collect close to 90 Crores share worldwide to achieve break-even status. The film has opened with superb occupancy for special shows but compared to Veera Simha Reddy the numbers are very less, which is understandable because the film has a smaller number of screens being a second release in the competition.

The movie is carrying good reports from the audience and the biggest advantage for the film is it has got better reports than Veera Simha Reddy.

Directed by Bobby, Waltair Veerayya’s trailer has already created great buzz and with Chiru returning to an out-and-out mass avatar, Mythri Movie Makers have expected a strong opening in the Telugu states which is becoming true now.

Waltair Veerayya also has Shruti Haasan, Catherine Tresa, and Prakash Raj in important roles. Devi Sri Prasad has composed tunes for this action entertainer and the songs became a good hit before the release and now the background score of DSP has been getting superb response.

Megastar Chiranjeevi is making his way to the big screen with the much-awaited Waltair Veerayya. Both he and his fans have pinned massive hopes on this project as his last two films Acharya and Godfather failed to meet expectations. This is why Chiranjeevi has turned to an out-and-out commercial entertainer and is looking to revive his glory by giving us a glimpse of vintage Megastar. Let’s find out what worked for the film and what didn’t

Story: Veerayya (Chiranjeevi) is a fisherman who’s a do-gooder and often helps the authorities on various issues. Solmon (Bobby Simha) is an escaped convict on the run and Seethapati (Rajendra Prasad) is determined to catch him. This is where he comes across Waltair Veerayya with whose help he plans to nab the dreaded criminal. How does the plan go and how are these lives interconnected forms the story.

Performances: Chiranjeevi is the whole and soul of the movie and is back to his strong zone. He dances, mouths dialogues, and expresses a wide range of emotions with terrific ease. However, movie lovers have seen Chiru doing these in countless films to perfection and they might be left asking for more due to high expectations from Megastar. Shruti Haasan, just like in Veera Simha Reddy has nothing to offer apart from being a part of dance numbers. Ravi Teja in a special role breathes life into the second half and his combination scenes with Chiranjeevi are a treat to watch. His energy and screen presence heightens the entertainment dose big time. The rest of the cast of Bobby Simha, Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad are well cast and have done justice to their characters.

Analysis: Waltair Veerayya is loaded with commercial elements and has enough ‘poonakalu’ moments for fans. But it is another routine commercial entertainer aimed at playing safe and doesn’t explore the depth and capacity of Megastar Chiranjeevi. Familiar tropes and routine scenes are the biggest drawbacks of this film and Bobby should have emphasized the fresher screenplay and novel treatment of this routine subject.

The film has its moments of fun but it also has scenes that would make you question Bobby’s vision and Megastar’s conviction.

Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy was released today worldwide amidst great fanfare and celebrations. The film is the first big Tollywood Sankranti release and it will be followed by Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya tomorrow. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, Veera Simha Reddy has got off to a terrific start.

The movie took an extraordinary start on the opening day despite of mixed reviews and pre-festival release. The 1st-day gross is expected in the range of Rs 45Cr share in the range of Rs30Cr which is way better than what was projected.

These numbers are phenomenal for Balakrishna and his career’s biggest opening by a big margin. Veera Simha Reddy is on its course to comfortably cross Akhanda opening day as well as opening week collection. The pre-business of this mass entertainer is valued at 75Cr a decent hold on festival days is enough to achieve the breakeven mark.

The movie already achieved $500 k in pre-sales in the USA and is showing good performance in the overseas market as well, which is pretty much unlike other Balayya movies. Thunivu and Varisu were the two major Kollywood releases for Pongal ending the long wait to see Ajith and Vijay clashing yet again at the box office. The performances of both these Kollywood stars were well appreciated and the movies received mostly mixed reviews with particular applause for the lead star’s performances.

Both Thunivu and Varisu got off to an excellent start at the box office. In Tamil Nadu, Thunivu has taken the lead because of a bigger release and collected a solid c 23Cr+ on opening day. Varisu, on the other hand, collected 20Cr+ on the opening day.

In Kerala, which is Vijay’s strong zone, Varisu took the lead by a big margin collecting 4.5Cr gross approx, while Thunivu collected in the range of 1.4 Cr. Coming to Karnataka, the Vijay starrer stood strong and took the lead and collected around Rs 4.5 crore while the Ajith starrer collected in the range of 3.7 Cr.

Varisu held the lead in the rest of India as well and did better than Thunivu. In overall collections, Varisu has the opening advantage and is ahead by a small lead of around Rs 1.5 Cr on day 1.
