There have been 4 major releases in the Telugu states this weekend on Diwali, and there is a clear winner among them. Vishwak Sen’s Ori Devuda and Manchu Vishnu’s Ginna are the two Telugu releases whereas Karthi’s Sardar and Sivakarthikeyan’s Prince are the Tamil releases.

Ginna opened to primarily negative talk and even the collections are extremely poor. The Anudeep and Sivakarthikeyan combo opened with mixed reviews and has failed to perform like Sivakarthikeyan’s previous movies. Ori Devuda posted decent reviews and decent numbers on the opening weekend.

But the real Diwali winner is Karthi’s Sardar which has dominated the weekend collections in both Tamil and Telugu. In the Telugu states, Kantara is the No.1 grosser for the weekend but if we consider the Diwali releases, Sardar has taken the lead.

Despite a slow start, Sardar picked up pace due to positive word of mouth and is doing well at the box office. The movie has taken a good jump on Day 2 and the Day 3 collections have been even better. The Day 4 and Day 5 collections are expected to be more than the previous days.

Bollywood is not having a good time for the last two years. While all the film industries have managed to bounce back after being hit by corona pandemic, Bollywood is still struggling to deliver big hits. Leave aside the hits, big movies and stars have not been able to get the openings at the box office in a considerable range.

Bollywood is ready to catch a glimpse of a box office clash between Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu and Ajay Devgn’s Thank God. With things not going well for the Hindi releases, many thought the decision of clashing big films wasn’t a wise one. But now, as the competition is unavoidable, let’s see how both the films are serving in booking at the box office this week.

The advance booking for both films started on this thursday with good enough shows. But shockingly, there is no buildup for both films. In the past, Diwali clashes have always been draws for the audience, trade circles, and industry people.

But now, despite only a few days left for the two movies release, there’s no excitement as such and the same is reflected in the audience response via ticket booking sites.

Ram Setu and Thank God, both are showing dull responses so far in all major cities. Ram Sethu, the Akshay Kumar starrer is showing one or two fast-filling shows at a few places but all other shows are empty. Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra’s film Thank God is also getting a very poor response.

At this point, both Thank God and Ram Setu are tracking for a box office opening of below double digits, which would be very disappointing.

According to the trade analysts, the pre-Diwali period doesn’t always show a clear view of where a movie is directed, and considering that both films release on the biggest holiday of the year for the box office, spot bookings could boost the films to get good numbers if the talk is good for the movies, so let’s wish that both these movies would become hit and make the festival of Diwali a grand success for Bollywood.

నిజానికి ఈ నెల ప్రారంభంలో అయోధ్యలో ఈ సినిమా టీజ‌ర్‌ను రిలీజ్ చేశారు. అయితే ఆ సందర్భంలోనే టీజర్ లోని విజువ‌ల్స్‌, ప్ర‌భాస్, సైఫ్ అలీ ఖాన్ లుక్స్‌ పై చాలా విమ‌ర్శ‌లొచ్చాయి. ఈ సినిమాపై ప‌లు హిందుత్వ సంఘాల‌తో పాటు రాజ‌కీయ నాయ‌కులు ఆగ్ర‌హం వ్య‌క్తం చేశారు. సినిమాను బ్యాన్ చేయాలంటూ పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

అయితే త్రీడీ టీజ‌ర్‌తో ఈ విమ‌ర్శ‌ల తాకిడికి కొంత వ‌ర‌కు అడ్డుక‌ట్ట వేసింది చిత్ర బృందం. అయితే మళ్ళీ ఈరోజు పోస్టర్ తో కథ మళ్ళీ మొదటికి వచ్చింది. అయితే కొంత మంది ప్రేక్షకులు మాత్రం టీజర్ కంటే ఈ పోస్టర్ బాగానే ఉందని అన్నారు.

రామాయ‌ణ గాథ ఆధారంగా రూపొందుతోన్న ఈ సినిమాకు ఓంరౌత్ ద‌ర్శ‌క‌త్వం వ‌హిస్తున్నారు. చెడుకు ప్ర‌తీక‌గా నిలిచిన రావ‌ణుడి పై రాముడు సాగించిన పోరాటాన్ని ఈ సినిమాలో చూపించబోతున్నారు. మోష‌న్ క్యాప్చ‌ర్ టెక్నాల‌జీతో పాటు త్రీడీ, ఐమాక్స్ వెర్ష‌న్స్‌లో దాదాపు ఐదు వంద‌ల కోట్ల వ్య‌యంతో ఆదిపురుష్ సినిమా రూపొందుతోంది.

Something similar was planned for Prabhas fans on the occasion of his birthday but things went out of control pretty soon.

During the screening of Billa in Venkataramana theatre in Tadepalligudem AP, Prabhas fans set fire inside the theatre causing massive loss to the theatre management. The video has now gone viral on social media and netizens including Prabhas fans are calling out this unruly behavior of their co-fans.

Already movies like Pokiri, Jalsa, and Chennakesava Reddy have created magic in their second innings. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Gharana Mogudu was also released similarly recently but failed to set the box office on fire.

Over the past few months, this vandalism has emerged as a major problem for theatre management and they are facing massive losses. These losses ran into lakhs for many theatres. In many places, chairs and screens were also damaged much to theatre management’s disarray.

In many theatres, the entry gates and glasses were broken for Pokiri and the same has been repeated with Jalsa special shows now. Theatre owners are not happy to screen special shows now. Because of this continuous damage, they are planning to take a strong decision.

And now, the same has been repeated for Billa’s re-release. If this trend continues for long, theatre management might have to take strong action and stop re-releases altogether.

Even though Vrinda likes Krishna, she keeps him away because she can’t have children. But after knowing about the problem, he tells her that he does not need children and convinces her to marry him. Then he says that he has some problem with his family and convinces them for marrying Vrinda.

But when Krishna’s mother comes to his house in the city, new problems arise. The rest of the story is about how they affected Krishna-Vrinda’s relationship.

Shirley Setia played the heroine opposite Naga Shaurya in this movie. Radhika Sarath Kumar played a key role in this and Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Satya, and Brahmaji acted in other roles.

Mythri Movie Makers are coming up with films with two of the most celebrated actors of Telugu cinema- Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna. While Chiru will be seen in Waltair Veerayya in KS Ravindra’s direction, Balayya will star in NBK 107 under Gopichand Malineni’s direction.

The makers of Prabhas’ Adipurush had announced Sankranti 2023 as the release date long back. Mythri Movie Makers have informed the distributors that only Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy and Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya will hit the screens for the festive season and Adipurush might push its release date further.

Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni’s Veera Simha Reddy will have the first release and most likely release on 11th January. Waltair Veerayya on the other hand will release on 13th January. Interestingly, both these Mythri films have Shruti Haasan in the lead role.

Adipurush’s shooting has been wrapped up a long time ago and the makers have spent a lot of time and resources on VFX. The makers recently released the teaser and confirmed that the movie will hit theatres on Jan 12, 2023. However, with multiple films releasing this Sankranti and Adipurush teaser getting slight backlash, the makers of this Prabhas starter might consider a later and safer release date.
