Tamil Superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu dubbed version Vaarasudu is releasing tomorrow, but the film’s bookings are not encouraging. Vaarasudu bookings are certainly will give a big shock to the film’s producer Dil Raju and director Vamsi Paidipally.
Vijay did this film with the combination of a Telugu director and one of the top producers of the Telugu Film Industry, and the unit also tried to publicize this film as a bilingual.
However, Vaarasudu bookings suggest that the film has the least buzz among the Telugu audience. Even if we compare this film’s bookings with Vijay’s recent movies, it is very less.
Vijay’s recent films with other Tamil directors have created much more buzz and what’s more surprising is Varisu which is directed by Telugu Director Vamsi Paidipally has almost zero impact among movie-goers.
Vaarasudu is bankrolled by Dil Raju and Shirish’s Sri Venkateswara Creations. The music for the film is composed by Thaman S, Karthik Palani is the cinematographer, and edited by National Award-winning editor K. L. Praveen.
Apart from Vijay, the film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha, and Samyuktha among others.
Varisu was dropped on January 11th and received average response and collections. Now we have to see how the Telugu Version Vaarasudu fares at the box office and what kind of feedback it receives from the audience. Let’s wish Dil Raju and unit all the best.
