తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకులు మంచు విష్ణుని పూర్తిగా మరిచిపోయారా?

మంచు మోహన్ బాబు తనయుడు మంచు విష్ణు తన కొత్త సినిమా జిన్నాను ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు ఈ వారం తీసుకొచ్చారు. ఈ సినిమాలో హీరో పాత్రలో నటిస్తూనే మంచు విష్ణు తన సొంత బ్యానర్‌లో ఈ సినిమాని నిర్మించారు. ఈ సినిమాలో విష్ణుతో పాటు ఇద్దరు బ్యూటీలు పాయల్ రాజ్‌పుత్, సన్నీలియోన్ కీలక పాత్రల్లో నటించారు.

మొదట దసరా సందర్భంగా అక్టోబర్ 5న జిన్నా చిత్రాన్ని విడుదల చేయాలని మంచు విష్ణు ప్లాన్ చేసినా.. మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి గాడ్ ఫాదర్, కింగ్ నాగార్జున ది ఘోస్ట్ వంటి భారీ సినిమాలతో పోటీ కారణంగా ఈ సినిమా విడుదల తేదీని అక్టోబర్ 21కి వాయిదా వేయాల్సి వచ్చింది.

అయితే చిత్రంగా ఈ తేదీకి కూడా మంచు విష్ణు.. విశ్వక్ సేన్ సినిమా ఓరి దేవుడా, శివ కార్తికేయన్ యొక్క ప్రిన్స్ మరియు కార్తి నటించిన సర్దార్ సినిమాలతో పోటీని ఎదుర్కోవలసి వచ్చింది. అన్ని సినిమాలు దీపావళి పండుగ వారాంతంలో ప్రయోజనం పొందాలని కోరుకున్నాయి. అందుకే అన్ని సినిమాలు నిన్న అంటే అక్టోబర్ 21న విడుదలయ్యాయి.

మిగతా మూడు చిత్రాలు ఎంతో కొంత మంచి స్పందన పొంది బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద మంచి వసూళ్లను నమోదు చేసినప్పటికీ, జిన్నా మాత్రం చెప్పుకోదగ్గ ఓపెనింగ్స్ పొందడంలో పూర్తిగా విఫలమైంది. సినిమా కలెక్షన్లు పక్కన పెడితే కనీసం సినిమాను పట్టించుకునే నాథుడు లేడు. జిన్నా సినిమాకు వచ్చిన స్పందన చూస్తుంటే మంచు విష్ణు సినిమాలకు పాజిటివ్ రివ్యూలు వచ్చినా థియేటర్లలో చూసేందుకు ప్రేక్షకులు ఆసక్తి చూపడం లేదనిపిస్తోంది.

ఇక పై ప్రేక్షకులను థియేటర్‌లకు రప్పించాలంటే విష్ణు కొన్ని క్రేజీ కాంబినేషన్‌లలో సినిమాలు వేయాలి. జిన్నా సినిమా కోసం కొన్ని వివాదాలు సృష్టించి బజ్‌ని తీసుకురావడానికి విష్ణు అన్ని విధాలుగా ప్రయత్నించారు కానీ ఏవీ పని చేయలేదు.

ఔట్ అండ్ ఔట్ కామెడీ ఎంటర్‌టైనర్‌గా రూపొందిన జిన్నా పై మంచు విష్ణు చాలా ఆశలు పెట్టుకున్నారు. విడుదలకు ముందే సినిమా ప్రమోషన్‌కు ఎక్కువ సమయం కేటాయిస్తే ఈ సినిమా విజయం సాధిస్తుందనే అభిప్రాయాన్ని వ్యక్తం చేశారు. అయితే రిలీజ్ టైమ్ వచ్చే సరికి ఈ సినిమాకి ఇంత దారుణమైన స్పందన రావడం అతన్ని నిరాశకు గురి చేస్తుందనే చెప్పాలి.

ఇషాన్ సూర్య దర్శకత్వం వహించిన జిన్నా సినిమాను అవా ఎంటర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్ మరియు 24 ఫ్రేమ్స్ ఫ్యాక్టరీ సంయుక్తంగా నిర్మిస్తున్నాయి. ప్రముఖ రచయిత కోన వెంకట్ కథ, స్క్రీన్ ప్లే అందించారు. అనూప్ రూబెన్స్ సంగీతం సమకూర్చగా, ఛోటా కె నాయుడు కెమెరా వర్క్ చూసుకున్నారు.

Nagarjuna’s The Ghost OTT Streaming date and release partner

King Nagarjuna was last seen in the action thriller The Ghost, which generated good buzz before its release. But sadly, the film couldn’t perform well in its theatrical run due to inadequate execution. Sonal Chauhan played the love interest of Nag in the movie, and Praveen Sattaru of Garuda Vega fame is the director.

The news is that the film will premiere on its official streaming partner Netflix on November 2nd. Though the film didn’t perform well at the theaters, the action sequences were praised for their stylish presentation. And some felt that the story had the potential and could have been a rollercoaster ride and a blockbuster at the box office, but somehow the director couldn’t translate his thoughts onto the screen, which made the film tedious.

Besides Nagarjuna and Sonal Chauhan, The Ghost also stars Gul Panag, Anika Surendran, Manish Chaudhari, Ravi Varma, Shrikanth Iyyangar, and Bilal Hossein in pivotal roles. Actually, Kajal Agarwal was the first choice for the female lead role in the film, however, she couldn’t allott the dates due to pregnancy.

Presented by Sonali Rang, The Ghost has been produced by Suniel Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, and Sharrath Marar, under the Sri Venkateswara cinemas LLP & North star entertainment banners. The cinematography has been done by Mukesh G and the songs are done by Bharat – Saurabh and Mark k Robin. The background music for The Ghost is also given by Mark k Robin.

The story of the film revolves around Vikram, an Interpol field agent, who is on a mission to save a business magnet’s son. Despite suffering from anger management issues and nightmares related to past incidents, he takes up the mission only to later face more traumatic experiences.

This fills him with guilt, eventually adding more rage to his life. What follows is a series of events revolving around the underworld and how Vikram overcomes inner struggle along with the war against the underworld in the rest of the story.

Chiranjeevi’s Godfather is nowhere near Mohan Lal’s Lucifer at the box office

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s latest film Godfather released on October 5th, which was an official remake Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit Lucifer. The original film, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, starred superstar Mohanlal in the lead role.

The moment it was told that Chiranjeevi is remaking Lucifer, many talks and discussions happened that the decision was right or not. Some people especially on social media felt that the movie doesn’t suit Chiranjeevi’s image and he was unnecessarily doing it.

Even some of the mega fans also opined that Lucifer’s remake is a wrong idea as it doesn’t have the required commercial appeal for a Star like Chiranjeevi. However, Megastar Chiranjeevi went on to remake the film and released Godfather on this Dussera.

During the promotional programs of Godfather, Chiranjeevi said that he didn’t like some of the parts in Lucifer, he felt something is incomplete and hence he made the changes. There were some changes from Lucifer to Godfather which came good like the family angle was made better emotional to suit our Telugu audience.

But despite having good content and even getting positive talk, the Godfather movie has underperformed at the box office. In many areas, the film’s 2 weeks share is less than the day 1 share of previous Chiranjeevi movies like Khaidhi. No.150 and Syeraa Narasimha Reddy. And what more surprising is the Godfather movie collected less than Lucifer.

Lucifer’s worldwide gross is more than 130Cr, Godfather has released in Multiple languages and even if we put together the all languages together gross is also will be less than 100Cr. Normally Telugu market is miles ahead of the Malayalam market still God father failed to beat those numbers at the box office.

Manchu Mohan Babu’s son Manchu Vishnu has brought his new movie Ginna. Manchu Vishnu made this movie under his own banner while playing the lead character in this movie. Along with Vishnu, two beauties Payal Rajput and Sunny Leone acted in important roles in this movie.

Initially, Manchu Vishnu planned the Ginna movie’s release on October 5th on the occasion of Dussera, but due to competition with big movies like Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Godfather and King Nagarjuna’s Ghost, the movie had to postpone its release date to October 21st.

Even at this date, Manchu Vishnu had to face competition with Vishwak Sen’s Ori Devuda, Siva Karthikeyan’s Prince, and Karthi’s Sardar. All movies wanted to have the advantage of Diwali festival weekend and that’s why all movies were released yesterday i.e October 21st.

While other movies got good response and posted good numbers at the box office, Ginna has completely failed to get a notable start. Leave aside the numbers the movie didn’t even get noticed. By seeing the reception of Ginna, it looks like the audience is not interested to watch Manchu Vishnu’s movies in theatres even with positive reviews.

Vishnu needs to put some crazy combinations to bring the audience to the theatres, he has tried in all the ways to bring the buzz for Ginna by putting some controversy but nothing worked for him.

Made as an out-and-out comedy entertainer, Manchu Vishnu had high hopes for Ginna. Before release, he expressed the opinion that this movie will be successful by allocating more time for the promotion of the film. But when the release time came, the utterly disastrous response to this movie must have left him disappointed.

Directed by Ishaan Surya, Ginna is jointly produced by Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory. Famous writer Kona Venkat has given the story and screenplay. Anup Rubens composed the music and Chhota K Naidu worked as the cinematographer. Payal Rajput appeared in the role of Pachalla Swati.

Actor Karthi, who entered the industry as the younger brother of Tamil star hero Suriya, quickly made a name for himself with a variety of films. Sardar is the new film from Karthi. Let’s see what is special about this spy thriller directed by P.S.Mithran who has impressed previously with Vishal’s movie ‘Abhimanyudu’.

Story: Vijay Prakash (Karthi), a police inspector, is an orphan. As his father was branded as a traitor, his entire family committed suicide in his childhood and he was left alone. A police constable joins him and raises him. Even though Vijay Prakash earned a good name as SI, the image of being the son of a traitor haunts him. At such a time, he gets a chance to investigate the case of a woman named Manga (Laila) who is fighting against the water pipeline project in India. Before Vijay Prakash gets to her she is killed under mysterious circumstances, and it is branded as suicide, but Vijay Prakash learns that it was not suicide and she was killed. It is understood that there is a big conspiracy behind this. Who is behind all this? Who is Sardar? What is his link with the story? form the rest of the story.

Performances: Karthi never stuck to one image frame, he kept doing different stories that come to him from time to time. Khaki, Khaidi, and now Sardar. He played a character that had such depth and could show variations. Although the young character looks normal he gave a natural touch and made scope from it, and he gave a great performance in the title role Sardar. His dominance is visible throughout the film. Chunky Pandey has done well as the villain. Among the heroines, Rajisha Vijayan was impressed with her short screen time. Rashi Khanna is fine. Munish Kant impresses in the supporting role. The boy who played the role of a small child will be remembered. Laila shines after years in a supporting and important role.

Analysis: Tamil directors have a unique style of researching the things that happen around us and which we don’t know about. PS Mithran belongs to that category. Sardar’s movie’s story is also related to social issues. It seems very unique. A trap that we are unknowingly falling into and issuing a warning about our dangerously changing future. We used to drink clean water from ponds, rivers, and wells and live healthy life. Now we are drinking water in bottles, cans, and tanks. The basic plot of ‘Sardar’ is to say that all this is the merit of the water mafia.

Verdict: Sardar is a movie made with an Intriguing concept. While watching the movie we can understand that the director has researched a lot about the core plot. Scenes involving the water mafia and their attempt to keep all the water resources in the country under their control, the ill effects of water bottles, etc look surprising, thought-provoking, and a bit scary too. Without missing the interest in terms of the story, the movie moves forward with thrilling scenes from time to time. Pre-climax and climax scenes came impressive. The scope of the story is very large, and the narration is a bit confusing here and there so everything is not understandable. Even though there are minor problems like excessive length, ‘Sardar’ does not fail to thrill and surprise the audience. ‘Sardar’ succeeds in giving a different feel without missing commercial values.

After delivering a major success in the form of Jathiratnalu in 2021, Anudeep KV is back with Prince- a bigger project spanning two languages with Kollywood star Sivakarthikeyan. Prince is bilingual and just like Jathiratnalu, a madcap comedy entertainer. The film features an interesting cast with Ukrainian actress Maria Ryaboshapka playing the lead opposite the Kollywood rising star. The movie has created positive noise in Telugu and Tamil film circles. Let’s find out if this project can take advantage of the festive season.

Story: Anbu (Sivakarthikeyan) has his whole village turned against him and even his father Sathyaraj is miffed with him and has decided to drive him out of the village. The villagers’ anger is driven by the fact that Anbu is in love with Jessica (Maria Ryaboshapka). The villagers and Anbu’s father argue that their forefathers have died fighting against the British hence him marrying a foreigner is a disgrace to the family. How the issue changes Anbu’s life and how they emerge out of it is what the story follows.

Performances: Sivakarthikeyan is on a roll at the box office dishing one good project after another. After the massive success of Doctor and Don, he has once again nailed his role in Prince. He does a great job as a goofy guy and doesn’t let the silliness of the movie look unnatural. Maria is in the film as mainly the second fiddle and does what’s expected of her. There’s not much to take home from her role. Sathyaraj as a principled father does a great job and this role is something that the veteran actor can sleepwalk through. Acting wise there isn’t much scope in this lighthearted film but credit must go to Anudeep for capturing the fun moments well.

Analysis: Prince is a film that gives audience an idea of what to expect from the first scene. Its a fun, silly and joyous ride throughout and while you might question the logic in a few places, Anudeep decides to make the film his playground through a bunch of gags some of which land well while some don’t. If you are expecting a thoughtful comedy driven by situations, you would be bitterly disappointed.

Verdict: 

Prince is a film that you can probably enjoy with friends due to its silliness. It’s comedy is just on lines of Jathiratnalu and even sillier in parts. What works for the film is Sivakarthikeyan and Sathyaraj’s conviction with Anudeep’s ideas. The duo make even the absurdest of situations passable. While there are a couple of gags that are actually funny, the rest would totally depend on your comedy tastes.

ఆయన తదుపరి చిత్రం ‘ఆదిపురుష్’. ఈ సినిమా షూటింగ్ చాలా కాలం క్రితమే పూర్తయింది. కాగా చిత్ర బృందం ఇటీవలే ఈ సినిమాకి సంభందించిన టీజర్‌ను విడుదల చేసారు. కాగా ఈ సినిమాను జనవరి 12, 2023న థియేటర్లలోకి విడుదల చేయనున్నట్లు కూడా ధృవీకరించారు. ఇక అంతా బాగుంది సినిమా విడుదల కావడమే తరువాయి అనిపించింది, కానీ ఇప్పుడు ఆదిపురుష్ విడుదలపై పరిశ్రమ వర్గాల్లో సందేహం తలెత్తుతోంది.

ఎందుకంటే ప్రస్తుతం ఈ చిత్రానికి తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో గట్టి పోటీ ఉండబోతుంది. ఒక పక్క చిరంజీవి యొక్క మెగా154 మరియు బాలకృష్ణ యొక్క NBK107 సినిమాలు సంక్రాంతికి విడుదలవుతున్నాయి. అంతే కాదు విజయ్ వారసుడు కూడా విడుదలవుతోంది.

తమిళనాడులో ఇప్పటికే టాప్ 2 స్టార్స్ విజయ్, అజిత్ సినిమాలు రిలీజ్ అవుతున్నాయి. ఈ పరిస్థితి చూస్తుంటే ఆదిపురుష్ సినిమా బడ్జెట్, జానర్ ని పరిగణలోకి తీసుకుని సోలో రిలీజ్ కోసం మరో తేదీకి వాయిదా వేసి విడుదల చేస్తే బాగుంటుందని ట్రేడ్, ఇండస్ట్రీ వర్గాలు భావిస్తున్నాయి. సంక్రాంతికి సినిమా రిలీజ్ డేట్ అనౌన్స్ చేసినప్పుడు కూడా ఆదిపురుష్ లాంటి సినిమాకి ఇది సరైన విడుదల తేదీ కాదని చాలామంది అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. సంక్రాంతికి కాకుండా ఈ సినిమాను సమ్మర్లో రిలీజ్ చేస్తే బాగుంటుందని కొందరు అన్నారు.

అయితే సంక్రాంతికి విడుదల చేస్తామని ముందుగా ప్రకటించినందున తమ సినిమాని వాయిదా వేయమని చెబితే అది ఆదిపురుష్ చిత్ర బృందానికి చాలా కఠినంగా ఉంటుంది. కానీ ఒకవేళ పోటీ ఉన్నా సరే విడుదల చేయాలని ముందుకు వెళితే మాత్రం ఆది పురుష్ తీవ్రమైన పోటీనే ఎదుర్కుంటుంది.

పండగ సీజన్‌లు ఎప్పుడూ ఇలాగే ఉంటాయి, ముఖ్యంగా సంక్రాంతి సీజన్ ఐతే వరదలా వచ్చే సినిమాలతో నిండిపోతుంది. ఈసారి సంక్రాంతి పోటీ చాలా ఆసక్తికరంగా సాగుతోంది, ముందు ముందు సినిమాల విడుదల తేదీలలో ఏమైనా మార్పులు జరుగుతాయో లేదో వేచి చూడాలి.

కాగా ‘ఆదిపురుష్’ సినిమాలో రాముడిగా ప్రభాస్ కనిపిస్తే.. సీతగా కృతి సనన్.. రావణుడికి సైఫ్ అలీ ఖాన్ మరియు లక్ష్మణుడిగా సన్నీ సింగ్ కీలక పాత్రల్లో నటించారు. IMAX మరియు 3D ఫార్మాట్లలో హిందీ తెలుగు తమిళం మలయాళం కన్నడ భాషల్లో విడుదల చేయడానికి చిత్ర బృందం అన్ని రకాల సన్నాహాలు చేస్తున్నారు.

Will Prabhas’s Adipurush come to theatres in Sankranthi 2023?

After ‘Radhe Shyam’, prabhas fans have not seen much of him. He received a lot of negative responses for the film and now the actor wants to give a roaring comeback.

His next film will be ‘Adipurush’. The shooting of this film was wrapped a long time ago. The makers have released the teaser recently and confirmed that the movie will hit theatres on Jan 12, 2023. Looked like everything was set but now doubt is arising in the industry circles about Adipurush’s release.

Because at present this looks very tight release for Prabhas in Telugu states as Chiranjeevi’s Mega154, and Balakrishna’s NBK107 are releasing along with him for Sankranthi. Like that is not enough, even Vijay’s Varasudu also releasing.

Coming to Tamil Nadu, where there are already top 2 stars Vijay and Ajith films releasing. Looking at this situation, the trade and industry circles are feeling that it would be better for Adipurush to postpone and release for another date as a solo release considering the budget and genre of the film. Even when the film’s release date was announced for Sankranthi, many felt that it is not an ideal date for a film like AdiPurush.

పవర్ స్టార్ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ హీరోగా వచ్చిన ‘భీమ్లా నాయక్’ చిత్రానికి సాగర్ కె చంద్ర దర్శకత్వం వహించగా.. త్రివిక్రమ్ శ్రీనివాస్ మాటలు, కథనం అందించారు. ఈ సినిమా భారీ అంచనాల నడుమ ఫిబ్రవరి 25న ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా విడుదలయింది.

సితార ఎంటర్ టైన్ మెంట్స్ సంస్థ నిర్మాణంలో రూపొందించిన భీమ్లా నాయక్.. మలయాళ చిత్రం అయ్యప్పనుమ్ కోషియమ్ సినిమాకు రీమేక్‌గా వచ్చింది. నిత్యా మీనన్, సంయుక్త మీనన్ హీరోయిన్లుగా నటించారు.

కాగా భీమ్లా నాయక్ చిత్రం ఫిబ్రవరి 25న విడుదలై మంచి స్పందనను అందుకుంది. పవర్ స్టార్ అభిమానులకు ఈ సినిమా బాగా నచ్చింది కానీ భారీ ఓపెనింగ్స్ తర్వాత సినిమా బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద యావరేజ్‌గా ముగిసింది.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s name has been linked with Balakrishna recently because of an interesting news. Nandamuri Balakrishna has been speaking out from his heart in the talk show Unstoppable 2. This show has changed his image completely. The audience was surprised to see him as a host and they are liking the way he was entertaining them in the show.

In the second season of unstoppable, Andhra Pradesh ex-chief minister Chandra Babu Naidu and his son Lokesh came as chief guests in first episode. In the second episode, Young actors Vishwak Sen and Siddhu Jonnalagadda were the guests and producer Naga Vamsi was also present with them.

During the episode, Balakrishna questioned Vamsi about who was the first consideration for Bheemla Nayak. Vamshi with a smile said that indeed it was Balakrishna who was considered for the lead role and had many discussions with him but Balakrishna proposed the name of Pawan Kalyan for Bheemla Nayak.

After Vamsi revealed this news during the talk show, the crowds gave a roaring response. After hearing this news, people on social media had many discussions regarding this topic.

Many felt that it would have been very exciting to see Balayya in the role of Bheemla Nayak. The role suits his age and image very well. Especially Nandamuri fans were very excited by imagining him in the lodge scene and action scenes of the movie.

These kind of incidents are common in the film industry where movies are shifted from one hero to another hero. Some movies get the hero changed even after the shooting started.

Bheemla Nayak movie was directed by Sagar K Chandra. Trivikram Srinivas has provided the screenplay and dialogues. Rana Daggubati – Nithya Menon – Samyukta Menon played other lead roles in it. The film’s music was composed by SS Thaman and produced by Suryadevara Nagavamshi.

The film was released on February 25th and opened to decent response, power star fans liked the movie but the movie ended above average at the box office after huge openings.
