Kiran Abbavaram’s KA first look poster released

Kiran Abbavaram who rose to fame with his Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru current film is titled, KA. A poster has been released by him on his official X/Twitter account as well. It shows the Actor from the back. The title KA is also surrounded by some zodiac signs indicating the film’s genre as well. The release date of the film is not yet announced by the makers. KA will probably release next year.

KA will be directed by director duo, Sujith and Sandeep and produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy. The film’s shoot will be started as well this year. Noted Tamil Music Director, Sam C.S. will helm the music department. This film will be made on the lines of recent mythological thrillers as indicated by the poster.

Kiran Abbavaram hasn’t make his mark yet after Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru. His films have either become average or flops at the box office. His recent film, Rules Ranjann too became a big disappointment. He took a small break recently as he got engaged to Rahasya Gorak, fame of Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru. So now he is hoping to give a big thump with this KA. Let’s see how the film comes out.

Dhanush’s upcoming film, Raayan is currently under shoot. The film also stars Sundeep Kishan playing a pivotal role. Songs composed by Oscar Award composer, A.R. Rahman have alreay been released recently. Raayan has also finished its Censor formalities. This Censor Report of Raayan indicates the film as a violent and Intense one.

Raayan has been awarded with a A certificate. This is a surprising censor report for a Dhanush’s film. Raayan’s plot summary is also revealed. It shows how a series of unfortunate events lead Raayan to be dragged into a dreaded world of crime and manipulation. The posters of the film depict this dark theme as well. So the film will portray violent scenes for sure. The film’s duration is also stated as 145.12 minutes i.e.,. 2 hours and 25 minutes. This is a crisp run time.

Raayan is currently scheduled to release on 26th July worldwide. Dhanush is looking to score a big blockbuster with this film. His previous outing Captain Miller which was projected as a Pan Indian biggie did just average at the box office. Now, he hopes to bounce back with Raayan big. He is also working for Kubera co-starring Veteran Actor, Nagarjuna under the direction of Sekhar Kammula. Both Actors shot for some scenes recently in Mumbai as well.

Indian 2: Low Buzz, big advantage ?

Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Maverick Director, Shankar is all set for the release on July 12th. The team and makers are busy in promoting the film for one last time. There is a low buzz for the film because of the trailer’s disappointment. The trailer and other promos offer not so promising content out of the film. Now this low buzz may become a big advantage for Indian 2.

Sometimes, creating a big bizz ahead of the film’s release may affect its result. The same thing once happened for Shankar’s I where all had put great expectations but the film turned out to be just average. I opened with big numbers but disappointed all in terms of the content and received a poor word of mouth. Now, Indian 2 is carrying low buzz and may help the film as well. A low buzz would help people understand the content day by day and may lift the film to next level.

Indian 2 will definitely not have big openings considering this low buzz. But if the film achieves a positive word of mouth, the branding of both Shankar and Kamal Haasan will hugely help the film. Another part, Indian 3 is also being planned. So, it would help this third part as well. Let’s see how it goes.

Kaithi starring Karthi became a big blockbuster and earned good name for Karthi. The film had a unique direction by Lokesh Kanagaraj which also attracted many. The film became successful in Telugu also thanks to the popularity of Karthi has here. Now, the much awaited sequel of the film, Kaithi 2 release date is out. Kaithi 2 will release next year ie.,. 2025.

Kaithi film ends with Karthi uniting with his daughter and leaving for his place. Antagonists plot to kill him during this scene as well. So, the makers have left a sequel plan with these scenes and people have been waiting eagerly for the sequel’s update. Kaithi 2 as said will begin once Lokesh Kanagaraj completes his current film, Coolie starring Rajinikanth. On the other hand, Karthi is also busy with his Sardaar 2. So both will unite afresh for this film next year.

Karthi also said this in yesterday’s fans meet that it was time to take the biryani bucket again referencing the most popular scene from the film. This has excited everyone now. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj will most likely finish Coolie with Superstar Rajinikanth by next year’s summer and he will then move for Kaithi 2.

Pushpa 2: Worst Case KGF 2 Range

Kanguva producer Gananvel Raja in an interview confirmed that Kanguva’s 2nd part is on its way and stated that this is going to be Suriya’s biggest and finest film of his career. The producer also spoke about the upcoming big release Pushpa 2 and made a few bold predictions.

Speaking about the trend of pan-India movies, he mentioned how this business expansion of South Indian movies was doing wonders in Hindi markets. Citing the example of KGF 1, he said that the first film collected 40 Cr nett in Hindi where as KGF 2 collected 10 times of that Hindi.

Gnanvel Raja predicted something similar for Pushpa 2. He said that the first film collected more than 110 Cr in Hindi and right now just the non-theatrical of Pushpa 2 is around Rs 240 Cr – 250 Cr. This is an indication of what kind of business potential this upcoming Sukumar-Allu Arjun project has.

The trade is expecting KGF 2 range numbers in Hindi even in the worst case scenario. If Pushpa 2 clicks then sky is the limit all records will be broken, predicted the producer. Gnanvel Raja said that he is expecting a similar reception for Kanguva as well.

Kalki 2898 AD: 8th film to hit 500 crore Nett in India

Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas is on a record spree ever since its release. The film has now joined the 500 crore Nett club and Kalki 2898 AD also becomes the 8th film to hit 500 crore Nett in India. The film has also managed to sale around 10 Million i.e., 1 crore tickets on the ticket platform, Book My Show as well.

Baahubali 2 was the first film to cross the 500 crore nett in the country and it even breached the 1000 crore Nett inthe full run as well. KGF Chapter 2 stands as the second film to hit 850 crore+ Nett. RRR comes on 3rd followed by Jawaan, Animal, Pathaan and Gadaar. Now, Kalki 2898 AD has joined this list officially. The film is also expected to reach the 600 crore Nett in the full run as per the trade analysts.

Baahubali 2, KGF Chapter 2, and Jawaan have only managed to collect 600 crore Nett in India. Kalki 2898 AD may settle with the fifth position in this club now. The film has already entered the 900 crore gross mark worldwide and may reach the 1000 crore gross mark as well if all goes well. But, Indian 2 is releasing this weekend which might impact Kalki 2898 AD collections. We have to see if Kalki 2898 AD continues its good run in the third weekend as well.

Kanguva 2 officially announced

Tamil Actor, Suriya is currently working for his big budgeted film, Kanguva. The film is made on a high scale aiming for a Pan India release as well. Kanguva’s teaser also released which showcased amazing performance from the lead actor Suriya as well as the budget put into the film. Now, Kanguva sequel, Kanguva 2 has been officially announced by the makers.

Kanguva is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja under his Studio Green banner. The film was announced to release on 10th October which has been confirmed again by the producer now. He said that the director of Kanguva, Siva had come up with 4 ideas and that they thought Kanguva was the best choice among the stories. He also said that audience would watch this for the visual experience and Suriya too had agreed for the film.

Kanguva now will be a two part film. The script for the sequel is also getting ready it seems. The sequel’s shoot will happen by next year’s end or the early 2026. The makers are planning to release the film in either January or April of 2027 as well. Fans and Audiences have high hopes on Kanguva. The expectations will further go high after the trailer’s release.

Shankar disappointed Mega Fans

Maverick Director, Shankar is currently directing Game Changer starring Ram Charan. Mega Fans have been waiting eagerly for the film’s release for many days. But Shankar is continuously disappointing Mega Fans by delaying the schedules and release date of Game Changer. Ram Charan has finally wrapped his part of the shooting recently after almost 3 years.

There is still a 10 day shoot portion left for Game Changer. But there is still no clarity left from the side of Shankar about the film’s release date. We don’t know if the director wants to release the film this year. Shankar is currently busy for his Indian 2 which is scheduled for release this July 12th worldwide. While interacting with the press, the Director gave no proper answer about Game Changer’s future. He said that they would take a call only after watching the final output of the film.

There are many films from Tollywood that are in the line up for the next 6-8 months. So, Shankar needs to confirm the release date as soon as possible. Otherwise, other films may occupy the release dates. As per the rumours, Game Changer may likely eye the Christmas season this year or would be postponed for summer next year.
