Dude vs LIK – Only One Film This Diwali

Pradeep Ranganathan’s upcoming two films, LIK and Dude, have been announced for Diwali release, and there was a report that both films will arrive on the same day. But Pradeep Ranganathan confirms that only one film will be released this Diwali.

A few days ago, both films’ teams started promotions with the festival release tag. Lately the LIK (Love Insurance Kompany) team released a teaser, and Dude released its first single.

With this, audiences expected that they would witness a surprise clash on Diwali, as both films feature the same hero. But Pradeep Ranganathan officially confirms that only one film will arrive this Diwali.

OG Storms Cinemark XD with Record-Breaking Release

Prabhas vs Vijay Battle Confirmed

Vijay’s Jana Nayagan was announced for a 9th January release long back. The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas, is also arriving on the same day, which means the Prabhas vs. Vijay battle is confirmed for Sankranthi 2026.

Initially, Prabhas and Maruthi’s horror comedy was announced for a 5th December release, but there was a huge buzz that it was moving to Sankranthi. Now the film’s producer officially announces that Raja Saab will be releasing on 9th January in the Mirai pre-release event.

Akhanda 2, the crazy sequel in the combination of Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu, was announced for a grand theatrical release worldwide on September 25. Now, the latest news is that the film has been officially postponed.

War 2 Two Weeks Box Office Collections

Hrithik Roshan and NTR’s War 2 is continuing its slow run at the box office in its 2nd week too. Here are the details of War 2’s two-week box office collections.

The Hindi version posted some numbers yesterday, while the Telugu version is still very poor in its 2nd week. 

War 2 has collected 338 Cr gross collections in two weeks at the box office. The Hindi version has collected 171 Cr net in India with a gross over 200 Cr, while the Telugu version contributed around 63 Cr gross and the Tamil around 2 Cr, taking the total India gross to 265 Cr.

The film has collected around 8.5 million USD overseas, which takes the total worldwide gross near 338 crores.

The film is a big box office failure, and it will close around 350 Cr, which makes it a disappointing film for the entire team.

Mirai Trailer Stuns Audiences

Even with a slight confusion about its release date, Teja Sajja and Karthik Gattamaneni’s Mirai has maintained the craze among audiences. Now, the film’s trailer has been released, which stuns audiences. 

In the trailer, we see Yodha (Teja Sajja) facing the terrifying Black Sword (Manchu Manoj), a malevolent who has perfected black magic and is vying for control of the world by locating King Ashoka’s nine sacred texts. 

Protectors of Dharma, the people of Dharamshala call on Yodha to stop his reign of terror and retrieve the staff, Mirai, a heavenly weapon created during Lord Sriram’s Treta Yuga. Overall, the Mirai trailer hits it out of the park and stuns everyone, as it exceeds expectations and promises a spectacular theatrical experience for audiences. 

The last shot of Lord Sri Ram will give goosebumps for sure. Teja Sajja is coming up with something much bigger than HanuMan.
