VaadiVaasal was one of the most hyped projects for Tamil cinema, and pre-production work for the film also happened. However, due to creative differences between Suriya and Vetri, the movie was shelved.

Without wasting any time, Vetrimaaran immediately started his next project with Simbu, who faced a big failure with Thug Life, in which he acted alongside Kamal Haasan.

TFDC Chairman Dil Raju Thanks CM Revanth Redd and the Telangana Government

Renowned producer and distributor Dil Raju was appointed as chairman for the Telangana Film Development Corporation by the Telangana government, and now he acts like a bridge between industry and government and plays a crucial role in Gadar awards.

The Bommarillu producer put on a press meet to thank the awardees for the year 2024. He stated that the Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy led the awards by giving special guidance.

Dil Raju also said, as per protocol, the Telangana Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, was supposed to be present for an hour at the Gaddar Awards event. 

However, after his arrival, he was present for two hours as per the request. Raju thanked CM Revanth Reddy as he was present at the Gaddar Awards event for 2.15 hours.
