Mirai Trailer Stuns Audiences

Even with a slight confusion about its release date, Teja Sajja and Karthik Gattamaneni’s Mirai has maintained the craze among audiences. Now, the film’s trailer has been released, which stuns audiences. 

In the trailer, we see Yodha (Teja Sajja) facing the terrifying Black Sword (Manchu Manoj), a malevolent who has perfected black magic and is vying for control of the world by locating King Ashoka’s nine sacred texts. 

Protectors of Dharma, the people of Dharamshala call on Yodha to stop his reign of terror and retrieve the staff, Mirai, a heavenly weapon created during Lord Sriram’s Treta Yuga. Overall, the Mirai trailer hits it out of the park and stuns everyone, as it exceeds expectations and promises a spectacular theatrical experience for audiences. 

The last shot of Lord Sri Ram will give goosebumps for sure. Teja Sajja is coming up with something much bigger than HanuMan.

Sankranthi is undoubtedly the biggest season for Telugu cinema, as it can accommodate 3-4 films, and all films find big audiences even with mixed WOM. An average film also sees good numbers at this festival season, and if the WOM is positive and it is an entertainer, then the numbers will be very huge.

With biggies posting huge numbers aside, Sankranthi season works for small films most of the time. Many times we have seen small-budget films posting numbers like biggies; especially entertainment films will boost huge returns for buyers. 

As big films will have huge business, they can give returns up to 30%, 40%, or 50%, but small films can give returns of 200% or 300% and even more.

For 2026 Sankranthi, Chiranjeevi is coming with Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Gaaru, Prabhas is likely to come up with The Raja Saab, and Raviteja is coming with Kishore Tirumala’s film.

Along with the above mentioned stars, the young actor Naveen Polishetty is coming with Anaganaga Oka Raju, which is a thorough entertainer. The film’s glimpse was released a few months back, received such a good response, and promised full entertainment.

OG USA advance bookings opened for Premiers yesterday with limited shows, and the response is astonishing. The trend is better than all recent biggies, including Devara and Pushpa 2.

Sensational Start for OG USA Bookings

Devara clocked $75K in the initial 24 hours of advance bookings, and Pushpa 2 registered $52K in advance bookings, whereas OG registered $82K in advance. Also, the film registers such a record of bookings starting with lesser shows compared to other films, including Devara and Pushpa 2. 

These opening stats say how big the trend is, and the film is expected to register 3 million premieres at this trend. Till now only RRR, Kalki, and Pushpa 2 have registered more than 3 million premieres in the USA, and Pawan Kalyan’s “They Call Him OG” is on track to join this club.

The second single, Suvvi Suvvi, which was released yesterday, is getting a good response, which adds more buzz to the film.

Coolie Two Weeks Box Office Collections

Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie had a steady run at the box office in its 2nd week as it gathered decent numbers. The film performed better than expectations after the first week. Coolie Two Weeks Box Office collections are out now.

In the 2nd week the film has collected close to 70 Cr gross worldwide, and the good thing is, the film is still seeing numbers from all languages: Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

For two weeks, Coolie’s box office collections stand around 323 Cr gross in India and 174 Cr gross overseas, taking the total gross to 497 Cr, and the film is all set to join the 500 Cr club today.

As this weekend does not have notable releases, this action drama needs to aim for at least 30 Cr+ gross in the 3rd week so that the recovery can go near 90%. If the film maintains good collections in the 3rd week, it can go for above-average status at the box office as well.

Mega Family stars are set for a box office revival

The recent films from Mega Family stars did not do well, and unexpectedly, they delivered back-to-back failures. Now, Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, and Ram Charan are set for a box office revival with OG, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, and Peddi.

All the upcoming films from the Mega heroes look promising to be box office blockbusters.
The first one will be Pawan Kalyan’s OG, which has produced a lot of anticipation among fans and other audiences. His last film, HHVM, ended up as a big disaster, so the fans are waiting for a massive comeback. 

Chiranjeevi – Anil Ravipudi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is also poised to be a festival blockbuster, with the combo and season matching perfectly. The veteran actor’s last film was Bhola Shankar, which ended up as a massive disaster.

Ram Charan also faced a big failure with Game Changer, directed by Shankar. His next film with Buchii Babu Sana, Peddi, created superb hype with its first glimpse. 

So, the Mega Family Stars, Ram Charan, Pawan Kalyan, and Chiranjeevi, are expected to revive the box office with their upcoming films. 

All three films are arriving in a very short gap, and OG is the first one, which will be out on September 25, 2025, while Mans Shankara Vara Prasad will arrive on January 9, 2026.

Buchi Babu and Ram Charan’s biggie, Peddi, will be released in theaters on March 27, 2026.

Mahavatar Narsimha Crosses 300 Cr Milestone

Ashwin Kumar’s devotional/animated film Mahavatar Narsimha is unstoppable at the box office. The film becomes the 1st Indian animated film to gross 100 Cr, 200 Cr, and now 300 Cr too. 

The movie is still posting the numbers at the box office even in its 5th week. Till now, the Hindi version’s gross alone in India is more than 210 Cr, while the Telugu version’s gross is around 50 Cr.

The other versions’ gross contributed more than 10 Cr in India. With this, the total all-India gross is around 275 Cr, and the overseas gross is more than 25 Cr, which takes the total gross of Mahavatar Narsimha to 300 Cr.

No one expected this film to shatter so many records, but it surprised everyone with its fantastic long run in the theaters.
