So, we will announce our film’s release date soon.”

The comment spread fast. Trade circles began reading it as confirmation that Peddi had quietly shifted its release date — even though the makers had made no official announcement.

SKN Issues Apology and Explains the Mix-Up

In a video statement released shortly after, SKN broke down exactly what happened.

“There was a small miscommunication during the first single launch event,” he said. “When I asked Sai Rajesh about our release date, he told me that tweets were going around about Peddi releasing on June 26 — and that we should wait for an official confirmation before announcing ours. “Something I said got taken the wrong way, making it look like I had announced the release date of a major film. I sincerely apologize for that. Please do not misunderstand my intention.”

SKN was also clear that he has no information about Peddi being postponed. “I have not heard anywhere that the film has been postponed. If there is any such update, the makers themselves will announce it. Whenever Peddi releases, it is sure to become a huge success.”
