Drishyam 3 gears up for shoot

Mollywood’s blockbuster series, Drishyam, is set for the shoot of its third part. The film became an Industry hit in Mollywood and received great acclaim in other languages in the form or remakes. The sequel, Drishyam 2 premiered directly on OTT due to COVID and became a sensation there as well.

Drishyam 3 has already been announced by the team. The script work of the film is also said to be locked, and the film will go to sets in September this year. It needs to be seen if the makers of other languages will take up the film in their respective languages. The impact will be big because of the viewers’ accessibility in watching the Malayalam version first.

Kuberaa Trailer release date locked

Kuberaa starring Dhanush and Nagarjuna is all set for release on 20th June worldwide. The team also made all arrangements to conduct a Pre-release event today with a Trailer launch. But this plan has been cancelled due to the tragic Air crash incident that happened in Ahmedabad yesterday. Now, the date for the Pre-release event is officially out from the team.

The Pre-release event will happen on 15th June, attended by the cast and crew of Kuberaa. The Trailer is arriving tomorrow. There is a good amount of expectation on the film, and the Trailer is also expected to set the buzz. Recently, the plot of Kuberaa was also out which trended on social media platforms. Many feel that the plot has all the qualities of becoming a blockbuster.

The team also looks very confident about the film. Both Dhanush and Nagarjuna are aiming to register a solid opening and if the word of mouth helps, Kuberaa has all the chances of becoming a blockbuster.

The season consists of 8 episodes, with each one having a runtime of around 45 minutes. The lead character, Rana, faces Rauf, his new enemy, who has a big grudge against him because of an old incident. 

Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati, who are nephew and uncle in real life, are back as the unorthodox son-father duo. Arjun Rampal appears as Rauf and joins the cast this season. Sushant Singh, Dino Morea, Kriti Kharbanda, Surveen Chawla, and Abhishek Banerjee are also part of the season.

Basil Joseph to direct Allu Arjun?

Tollywood Actor Allu Arjun is on a roll with the pan-India success of his recent film, Pushpa 2. The news is that the makers of HHVM have locked 18th July as the new and final release date. No film has been announced for 18th July, so the film will have a solo release, boosting the openings at the box office.

Rentrak in Telangana?

Tollywood Producer Dil Raju made a few interesting statements in his speech during the Trailer launch event of Thammudu. Thammudu is the latest film of Actor Nithiin directed by Venu Sri Ram. The film also stars Sapthami Gowda and Laya in pivotal roles. Dil Raju said that he had instructed the PR team not to opt paid views on YouTube as this could kill the real reach of the film’s content.

He also added that there was a need to stop boasting about the fake box office numbers and YouTube records. He also opined that there should be a tracking system on the likes of Rentrak in Telangana so that there will be original collections and figures. Rentrak is a global media measurement and research company serving the entertainment industry.

This is indeed a welcoming gesture from the Producer. However, we need to see if this gets on track, as Actors and Producers must fall in line to encourage such a system. Boasting box office numbers became a usual ritual for all the Actors and makers. So, expecting such a system in Tollywood or the Indian Film Industry will be a distant dream.

Trivikram – Ram Charan’s Project will not start as of now

Producer Naga Vamsi, who is the close aide of Trivikram, took to his social media and confirmed that only films with Venkatesh and NTR have been confirmed with the star writer-director, and the rest of the news is mere speculation.

But as per the industry circles inside reports, certainly, there will be a film in combination of Charan and Trivir. However, right now, the Rangasthalam actor is busy with Peddi, and his next is confirmed with Sukumar.

Charan – Trivikram Project on hold at the moment, while the fans eagerly await NTR – Trivikram’s Film to start

It is widely known that director Sukumar always takes as much time as possible on a film’s set. So. Trivikram will not work on the Ram Charan project right now, but it is most likely to be announced after RC 17.

That makes clear that as of now, Trivikram has only two confirmed projects in his hands: one is with Venkatesh, and the second one is with NTR. While Venkatesh’s film will immediately go on floors, all eyes are eager to see when NTR’s film will go on floors.
