Vikram director Lokesh Kanagaraj confirms his project with Ram Charan

Vikram director Lokesh Kanagaraj has confirmed about his project with Ram Charan. In Vikram promotional interviews, Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed that he had narrated the script to Ram Charan and also added that he narrated the scripts to few other heroes as well. The projects will go on sets based on the availabilities of Heroes dates. There were also rumours about him doing a film with Mahesh Babu. But there is no information about this film. He is currently busy with Vikram promotional activities which is slated to release this 3rd June.

There are lot of expectations on Vikram considering the form Lokesh Kanagaraj is in. He had two blockbusters in the form of Khaidi starring Karthi and Master starring Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi. Both films brought him a good name. Lokesh had collaborated with Kamal Hassan for the first time. He had also roped in two stars, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil for two crucial roles. The film is also made on a big scale. Audio and trailer launch happened in a grand way. The trailer has already crossed more than 15 Million Views in 24 hours. Suriya is also reported to do a cameo role in the film which was even confirmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Salaar Cinematographer has raised the expectation on the film

Salaar Cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda has raised the expectations on the film. He said that Salaar will have international standards and will be bigger, better and unique compared to KGF. Bhuvan Gowda also worked as the cinematographer for KGF. He looks very confident about the film. Salaar is directed by Prashant Neel and produced by Hombale films on a large scale. Prabhas is playing dual role in the film. Shruthi Hassan is also playing the female lead. Jagapathi Babu will play the antagonist role.

Recently KGF Chapter 2 has created record by grossing more than 1000 crore in India alone. It has also shattered many records in every language. It also became the first dubbed film to cross 100 crore share mark in Telugu. The film has also crossed this mark in Kannada Version. KGF Chapter 2 collected more than 400 crores alone in Hindi version standing next to Baahubali 2. Both these films are non Hindi films and are on Top 2 places. Dangal is the only Hindi film to cross more than 1000 crores worldwide. Now all eyes are on Salaar which stars Prabhas who is already riding high with the Pan India successes of Baahubali and Saaho. KGF Chapter 2 released as a Pan India has completely rocked the box office of India. The film has grossed more than 400 crores in Hindi alone. It has also collected more than 100 crore share in Telugu and Kannada Version which is just phenomenal. The film has also grossed 1000 crores alone in India. Only Baahubali 2 managed to pull off such feat throughout the country. But KGF Chapter 2 doing it without any VFX portions like Baahubali 2 is very shocking. Whole country audience owned the film like theirs. Now there are other films like KGF Franchise which would fall into the same category. They are Pushpa 2 and Salaar. Pushpa 2 sequel of Pushpa has already struck well with Hindi audience thanks to its popularity with songs and Allu Arjun. For the first time Mahesh Babu has danced on stage during success celebrations, #MaMaMassCelebrations event of Sarkaru Vaari Paata at Kurnool today. Normally Mahesh Babu remains calm during the pre-release events or success meets but this time he stepped on to the stage during Thaman’s performance and danced along with Thaman for Ma Ma Mahesha song. Director Parasuram too went on stage after him.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata is running successfully and creating record each day. The film has already touched the 100 crore mark and is on its way to the 150 crore mark. The makers are very happy with the success of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. It has already collected more than 70 crores share in AP/TS and 90 crores worldwide. It has also crossed the $2M mark at US box-office. The team has arranged a success meet celebration at Kurnool today for which Mahesh Babu attended. Mahesh Babu also thanked the audience for the success during his speech. Sarkaru Vaari Paata has become one of the best performing films after pandemic Covid. The film will also be Mahesh Babu’s highest grosser in the coming days. Siva Karthikeyan scores a biggest blockbuster with Don

Tamil Actor Siva Karthikeyan has scored a yet another biggest blockbuster in the form of his recent film, Don. Don stars him alongside Priyanka Mohan directed by Cibi Chakravarthy. The film carried a good hype before the release with Siva Karthikeyan scoring a blockbuster, Doctor directed by Nelson. Songs and trailer of the film struck well with audience and added more hype to the film.

The film released this month on May 13th and achieved a positive talk and grossed nearly 10 crores on the opening day. Don with its college backdrop and father sentiment is pulling audience to the theatres. The film has also posted record weekend numbers for Siva Karthikeyan. The weekend gross is close to 50 crores and the film is expected to cross the 100 crore mark easily in its full run. This will be the second 100 cr film for Siva Karthikeyan if that happens.

Right now Siva Karthikeyan is the new generation leading star from Kollywood market with each film. He will also be the hero to have two back to back 100 crore grossers after Don’s lifetime run. Siva Karthikeyan is currently doing a film with K.V. Anudeep under Suresh Productions. This film is a Telugu and Tamil bi-lingual. Shoot for the film has also started. Only Mega heroes are failing to put the numbers at Box office

This year has been a disappointing year for mega fans considering the biggest ever disaster with Acharya. Acharya starring Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan had lot of hype before the release being a mega multi-starrer but the film ended up becoming the biggest disaster ever in Tollywood. Ghani too became a big disaster for both Varun Tej and Allu Aravind. The only relief was with RRR which had the Rajamouli brand. This shows that mega heroes are failing to put the numbers at the box office.

Recent biggies Pushpa, Radhe Shyam, KGF Chapter 2 and Sarkaru Vaari Paata were able to perform well considering the talk and genre. Every film has collected above the expectations, but Bheemla Nayak even with positive talk failed to collect 100 cr share and Acharya even crashed on the opening day itself. High ticket price cannot be a reason as all the other films also had ticket hikes. Pawan Kalyan’s political war with Andhra Pradesh government is also costing them. He is waging an unwanted war with the government even at the film events. His films also being remakes is another issue. So let’s see how far this goes.

The exhibitors are worrying about the prices because there are no holidays for the film and the quoted prices are very high. Exhibitors might also think about the performances of recent releases.

F3, the sequel of F2 is carrying good hype thanks to its trailer which released recently. The trailer has garnered 20 Million views in a week. The film naturally had the expectation considering the performance of its prequel which collected more than 140 crores worldwide. F3 now has even more cast with Sunil and Ali also doing roles which also brought more hype. Makers have also brought in Pooja Hegde for an item song Life Ante Itts Vundaala which released today.

The team is taking all the necessary steps to make it a big hit just like its prequel. Both Venkatesh and Varun Tej are in a need of hit. Varun Tej recent release Ghani became a big disaster. Vijay Deverakonda’s Pan India project JGM shooting details

JGM (Jana Gana Mana) starring Vijay Deverakonda and Pooja Hegde directed by Puri Jagannadh is currently under filming stage. The film recently commenced its shoot with the team meeting with army staff in Mumbai. The film is planned on a huge scale and will be released Pan-India. JGM will be the second collaboration between Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda after Liger.

Liger starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday was also made on a big scale and produced by Karan Johar under the direction of Puri Jagannadh. Both have collaborated again for another term even before the completion of Liger. Now the makers are planning to start the shoot in the 1st week of July. Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy with Shiva Nirvana directorial Kushi shoot. JGM is said to be made on a budget of around 150 crores. On the other hand, Liger is set to release in August month. Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film with Shiva Nirvana #VD11 has been titled Kushi. The first look poster of the film was released along with the motion poster today by Vijay Deverakonda and the team on Twitter which led to the fight. Pawan Kalyan’s former film Kushi has been a special film to all his fans. Now Vijay Deverakonda doing a film with the same title is not liked by them. No one including Vijay Deverakonda responded about this incident yet.

Shiva Nirvana collaborated with Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha for a film under Mythri Movie Makers and the shoot of the film was started recently too. The film is expected to be a romantic entertainer which was even confirmed by Vijay Deverakonda on Twitter. So the makers might have planned to use the title to bring more fame for the film. Earlier there was the same fight regarding Nani’s Gang Leader which was first titled Gang Leader. Many mega fans objected to the move and demanded Nani to change the title. Shruthi Hassan is playing the female lead in the film whereas Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is playing a crucial role speculated to be an antagonist one. Thaman composes the music for the film. The film is under shoot at present. There will be a mass item song in the film for which the shoot has already started today under Shekar Master choreography.
