Yash’s KGF Chapter 2 is out on OTT, Check out pricing details

Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2 is now out on OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video in all the languages. The pricing details are based on pay-per-view rental basis for ₹199. The film has also gone on early access just like recent film, RRR which too opted the pay per view rent. KGF Chapter is still running in the theatres successfully but RRR has slowed down. RRR was out on Zee5.

KGF Chapter 2 directed by Prashant Neel has done wonders at the box office by grossing more than 400 crores in Hindi version apart from Telugu and Kannada versions. This is a huge feat and no film achieved such record other than Baahubali 2. KGF Chapter 2 even went ahead and grossed more than 1000 crores in India alone standing only next to Baahubali 2. It even collected more than 100 crore share in Telugu version apart from its Kannada version. The film is still running in the theatres across the country. The makers are very happy and are looking forward to their next film, Salaar with Prabhas.

First look and Release date of Vijay Devarakonda’s upcoming film is out

Vijay Devarakonda and Samantha’s new film got a title. The team announced the title and release date today. They both are coming with a romantic entertainer under Majili’s fame Shiva Nirvana. The director has Ninnu Kori and Tuck Jagdish in his pouch along with Majili. With Ninnu Kori and Majili the director proved his mettle in dealing emotional love stories. So for his next he chose the most happening lead pair.

Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda’s feautured in Mahanati for a limited screen time. Now they are paired up for a crazy love story, the first look poster suggests. The film has been titled ‘Kushi’. The first look motion poster looks interesting. It sports Vijay in a Kashmiri attire and Samantha in a saree. The poster adds more excitement with the line “Most complicated knot”. Kushi is going to release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on 23rd December,2022.

Director Ram Gopal Varma looks shocked with the box office performance of Sarkaru Vaari Paata over Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar. He has once again mocked Bollywood with his tweets. Ram Gopal Varma who always makes controversial tweets came up with the comparison between Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Jayeshbhai Jordaar which released recently. No one responded to his tweet yet.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata starring Mahesh Babu is creating record each day and has already grossed more than 120 crores worldwide in 4 days. On the other hand, Jayeshbhaai Jordaar starring Ranveer Singh has only collected more than 11 crores which is very shocking. RGV who never leaves the opportunity to mock Bollywood tweet about the same. Over the period, films releasing in Hindi are not doing well at the box office. Three star heroes’ recent films, Bachchan Pandey, Jersey and Jayeshbhai Jordaar have performed very poorly at the box office. Suriya in Kamal Hassan’s crazy project Vikram

Kamal Haasan’s much-awaited project Vikram has already got the fans on their feet. The main reason for it is the stellar cast that includes Vijay Sethupathy and Fahadh Faasil along with the senior actor. the trailer that was released yesterday gave fans a solid glimpse of what to expect.

One of the special things about Vikram is its star-studded star cast. Apart from Kamal who will play the titular role, it has been confirmed that even Suriya will play a cameo in this project. Director Lokesh Kangaraj has made an official statement on this matter. Suriya was earlier spotted at Vikram’s shoot spot which gave rise to many speculations.

With Kamal, Vijay Sethupathy, Fahadh, and now Suriya in a cameo appearing in this project, and with Lokesh Kangaraj being in a terrific form after Kaithi and Master, all eyes are now on June 3rd.

Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for Kamal Haasan’s Vikram. Girish Gangadharan has handled the cinematography and Philomin Raj is in charge of editing. The film’s glimpse was released last year and it featured the senior actor in an action-packed character. The teaser’s background music and Kamal’s extraordinary screen presence were highlights of the teaser. 

Now the trailer has further hyped the movie and fans are waiting to have a blast in the theatres. Rajkamal Films International is bankrolling this action thriller.

Manchu Vishnu comments on ticket prices in Telugu states

Ever since he became the MAA President, Manchu Vishnu has maintained a strategic silence over various issues bothering Telugu Film Industry. He has been particularly quiet on the tickets issue which created major issues for the industry last year.

Now, the actor/producer has come up with a statement on the ticket pricing issue. “When the ticket pricing issue was raging, I was criticized by many for being silent. Now they are saying that due to increased ticket rates many are facing issues. Since we have government support in both states, I think we need to sit down and have a discussion on what to increase and what not to.”

The MAA President has evaded the issue once again and has taken a rather diplomatic stance on the issue.

After winning the MAA President’s post, Manchu Vishnu made many statements and even stated that he would meet the CMs of the two states to sort out Tollywood’s issues. He made statements where he promised to be at the forefront at the time of any crisis in the Tollywood fraternity. However, that seems to be quite far from true.

A few months ago, a delegation of prominent celebrities from Tollywood met AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy to discuss the issue of ticket rates. But surprisingly, the MAA President Manchu Vishnu did not receive an invite. What is more shocking is that Vishnu is also a close relative of Jagan. Even Posani Murali Krishna, Ali, and R Narayana Murthy received an invitation from Jagan.

RRR movie releasing again in a huge number of theatres

SS Rajamouli’s epic action-drama RRR is all set for a re-release in the USA. This news has filled fans and movie lovers in US with immense excitement. RRR uncut version will release in 100+ theatres in June. The movie became immensely popular with local film critics and Hollywood observers who wrote some terrific reviews for this film.

RRR managed to cross the Rs. 1000 cr mark at the worldwide box office in 16 days. This is SS Rajamouli’s second film to achieve this feat. Only 4 Indian films have crossed the 1000Cr gross mark worldwide. After Baahubali2, Dangal, and RRR, KGF 2 became the latest film to enter this exclusive club.

Meanwhile, this action multistarrer is gearing up for its OTT release on 20th May. The film recently completed its 50 day run and will now stream on Zee5 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The Hindi version will stream on Netflix.

The Ram Charan and NTR starrer film’s digital rights fetched huge amounts for the makers and got them a record deal. Pen Studios had acquired the digital rights for this film which it later sold to Netflix for Hindi and Zee for other languages.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata starring Mahesh Babu achieved a mixed talk but the film is performing very well at the box office. The films is creating record each day and has also grossed more than 100 crores. It has also collected more than 70 crores share in 4 days making it also the first non SSR film record in Telugu. The film has also crossed Pushpa’s 1st week collections in just 4 days which is phenomenal.

The much awaited film RRR is finally set to stream on OTT platforms like Zee5, Netflix and even on BookMyShow. Though it is a happy news for film lovers there is one condition that comes along. Unlike most OTT releases, where a user with a subscription can watch the movie for free, RRR will be available in T-VOD or pay-per-view format. RRR will be available on OTT from 20th May.

Audience have to pay an additional amount to watch RRR Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada in Zee5 despite having annual subscription. Hindi version of RRR will be available for rent on the BookMyShow streaming platform. One can rent RRR movie for Rs. 349 or buy the movie for Rs. 899. Zee5 came up with an offer for those who do not have annual subscription.

The annual subscription of Zee5 usually costs Rs. 599. But now the annual subscription of Zee5 along with RRR rental for Rs. 699. If you rent the movie, you will have 30 days of grace period to watch the film. However, once you start watching the movie, you will only have two days to complete the movie. The audience have to wait for more days if they want to watch for free. So let’s see how people receive this move from the OTT platforms.
