Samantha’s Pan-Indian venture Yashoda is building up intrigue among film fans with every released clip from the film. The first glimpse of the film had a lot of people excited and now the teaser has raised the expectations a notch higher.

The teaser of Samantha’s Yashoda was released today in all 5 languages and the response is brilliant. Coming to the teaser, Samantha is seen in a completely new avatar. She is playing a pregnant woman who is on the run from a supposed unknown.

Yashoda is trapped in what seems to be a maze both literally and figuratively. How will she get out of the maze or rather, will she get out of the maze will form the rest of the story. After her role as Raji on Family Man, Samantha is playing yet another complex character. She is dealing with various demons in her life both mentally and physically and she has to escape before it is too late.

The concept of Yashoda is very refreshing and kudos to Samantha for consistently choosing great scripts. The idea of a pregnant woman fighting for her life is a very interesting concept. It is very clear from the teaser of Yashoda that Samantha has given her all for the film.

Yashoda was originally scheduled to release on August 12th but was positioned due to various reasons. The makers are yet to announce a new release date. Apart from Samantha, Yasoda also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Unni Mukundan in lead roles. The duo of Hari-Harish is responsible for the direction work of the movie and Sridevi Movies produced the film.
