The makers are extremely confident about the final product and are happy with the output. In fact, they are so confident in the film that they are releasing the movie on their own in all the territories. This is because no distributor wanted to buy the film at the quoted price. The makers decided to not sell the movie at lower prices and are confident in their movie.
The theatrical rights of Godfather are valued at 90 crores according to the makers. The film will need to collect more than 90 crores in shares worldwide for it to be considered a ‘HIT’.
From the first look and the teaser of the film, Godfather seems to have delivered in terms of mass. It is to be seen whether the film will also live up in terms of content. It is a remake of the Malayalam superhit film Lucifer and also stars Salman Khan, Nayanthara, and Satyadev in the lead roles. Mohan Raja is the director of the film and Thaman is the music director.
