Shocking: Distributors Are Not Interested In Buying Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Film

Megastar Chiranjeevi is one of if not the most influential figures in Telugu cinema. He has been ruling the Telugu Film Industry for more than 2 decades now and has also paved the way for so many future generations and the likes of Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, and so on. Even after his small break, he gave a massive comeback and proved that he is still at the top of the tree.

But after Acharya, everything seems to have changed for Chiranjeevi. There has been a lot of negativity surrounding Acharya during the release and even after the release. The losses incurred by the makers and Chiranjeevi’s quarrel with Koratala Siva did not help much either.

In addition to that, Chiranjeevi has been choosing bad scripts lately which has put him in this position. None of the distributors are interested to buy any of his films. His next movie Godfather is only a few weeks away from release and no distributor is ready to buy the film for the quoted price.

The makers of Godfather have quoted a price in the ratio of 85 crores for the Telugu states. But the distributors are not willing to take the risk as they feel there is no buzz for the movie. On top of that, Godfather is also a remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer.

For the first time, a Chiranjeevi movie has not been sold with less than 3 weeks to go for release. The producers are planning to release the film in all areas.
