Big producers who produce crazy projects in a row sometimes face unexpected difficulties. For example, when you want to release two crazy projects at the same time, there is a problem with the release date. The latest talk being heard in industry circles is that the famous production company Mythri Movie makers is facing such trouble now.

The real thing is that mythri movie makers are producing Nandamuri Balakrishna, Gopichand Malineni’s movie NBK 107, and another movie MEGA154 in Megastar Chiranjeevi and Bobby combination.

NBK107 and Mega154 Both are planning to release for Sankranthi as both Heros are pressuring the Mythri movie makers. Release dates may change and we have to wait till the last minute for confirmation it seems. Leaving the issue of the date aside let’s look at the business of both movies.

Mythri started the business for both films, they are doing the business combining both films. The distributors are offering the same range of amounts for both movies which is surprising to everyone. Normally Chiranjeevi’s business is miles ahead of Balakrishna’s film. But now looks like everything changed and most likely business both films will be in the same range.

Chiranjeevi’s bad form with acharya being one of the biggest disasters, and the recent underperformance of the Godfather movie have brought down his stardom a bit. And Balakrishna’s top form with Akhanda being a blockbuster and a huge craze for NBK107 made this equation.

Along with these two movies, Prabhas’s Adi Purush and Thalapathy Vijay’s Vaarasudu/Varisu are also in the Sankranthi race.

Apart from all these, Ravi Teja is also playing a pivotal role in Mega154. That will work in favor of the movie as it raises the expectations towards the movie.

అజయ్‌ దేవగణ్, శ్రియ శరణ్‌ జంటగా నటించిన చిత్రం ‘దృశ్యం’. మోహన్‌లాల్ ప్రధాన పాత్ర పోషించగా అదే టైటిల్‌తో వచ్చిన మలయాళ చిత్రానికి అధికారిక రీమేక్ గా హిందీలో తెరకెక్కింది.

Ajay Devgan says we have made the changes for Drishyam sequel

The film ‘Drishyam’ in which Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran played the lead roles, was well received. The film was an official remake of the Malayalam film with the same title in which Mohanlal essayed the main role.

This film was released in 2015, after which everyone was eagerly waiting for the second part of this film. Hindi audience liked it and were eager to see its sequel and few were wondering what happened to the Sequel part. To end those discussions, the second part of this film is going to be released soon.

After Drishyam was released in 2015, the next part of this film Drishyam 2 is being released in 2022. The trailer of this film has been officially launched yesterday i.e. on October 17, 2022.

After seven years, once again the case of Ajay Devgn i.e. Vijay Salgaonkar is opening. Akshaye Khanna is going to investigate this case.

Ajay Devgan talked about the Drishyam2 comparisons with the original Malayalam version and said “We have introduced new characters in our film,” “but the soul remains the same.”

Going by trailer it looks true because we can see Kamlesh Sawant i.e. Laxmikant Gaitonde whose role was not present in the original version of this Sequel. Even in the first part of Drishyam, there were slight changes to the original which were essential for the Hindi version’s success.

Drishyam and Drishyam 2 both were successful in Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada as well. As said above, Mohanlal played the main role in Malayalam, Venkatesh in the Telugu version, and Ravichandran in Kannada.

Now the trailer of the Hindi version of Drishyam 2 has been receiving a good response, and the film’s success looks guaranteed.

Drishyam 2 consists of a huge cast that includes Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, and Rajat Kapoor with Ajay Devgn. Drishyam 2 will release in theaters on November 18, 2022.

Kantara has grasped the whole country’s imagination with its stunning box-office numbers and rave reviews. This Kannada action thriller made on a modest budget has raked in massive returns in every territory and has already crossed 100 crores at the box office and is expanding its screening numbers with every passing day. What’s the film about? And what are its strong points? Let’s check out

Story: Set in the serene forests of Karnataka, Kantara is a fight for land and forest by its locals. The story starts in the 19th century when the forest lands were donated by the king to the locals. In the present times, this forest cover has become the bone of contention for local landlords, the forest departments, and the locals. How the clash proceeds is what the film is largely about. With a strong influence of tribal culture, deity worship, Kambala, and breathtaking visuals, Kantara takes us deep into Kundapur, a small village in Karnataka.

Performances:  Rishab Shetty has written and directed this project along with playing the lead role- Shiva. Shiva is rebellious, and witty and has been well portrayed by Shetty who captures the very essence of a small village guy with big courage. Kishore as the forest officer has a meaty role and does complete justice with his impressive screen presence. Sapthami Gowda as Leela has little to perform and is there just as a love interest of Shiva with no big consequence to the movie. Other actors like Achyuth and Swaraj Shetty play their parts to perfection.

Analysis: The biggest strength of Kantara is its screenplay which wastes no time in transforming the audience into its world. The movie is pacy in the first half with enough entertaining moments and establishes itself well for an entertaining second half. This is where the film loses its part and the second half pales in comparison and is unable to engage viewers due to some cliched scenes and illogical writing. The film would have been much better and more engaging is the second-half screenplay was tighter. It is however the pre-climax and climax portions that breathe life into the movie and transport us into a world of visual feast and technical brilliance.

Verdict: 

Kantara is a visual feast with a roaring climax and entertaining sequences all over. Barring a few scenes which give you a deja vu feeling, the movie has been written crisply and engages the audience right from the first frame. The film deserves a theatrical viewing and anything short of that will disallow you to enjoy the technical brilliance of Arvind Kashyap’s cinematography and Ajaneesh’s BGM.

Released in 2018, Rangasthalam shattered many existing TFI records and created its mark in the audience’s hearts. Now, it is being reported that a sequel of this action entertainer is on cards.

The film recovered its pre-release business by collecting Rs 80 crore share within the first week creating Non-Baahubali records. By the end of the second week, the film stood as a Non-Baahubali IH in Tollywood and closed at Rs 120 crores + share.

Sukumar recently shared his idea for a sequel to Rangasthalam with Megastar Chiranjeevi and the idea has been received with positivity. The ace director already has existing commitments with Vijay Deverakonda along with the much-awaited Pushpa 2.

Rangasthalam 2 will most probably go to sets after these commitments. Even Ram Charan is busy at the moment with RC 15 and once everything settles, Rangasthalam 2 might be given a green signal. Sukumar is also confident about getting Rangasthalam 2 to work at the North box office.

ప్రముఖ మల్టీప్లెక్స్​ సంస్థ పీవీఆర్​ క్యూ2 త్రైమాసిక ఫలితాలు సోమవారం వెలువడ్డాయి. సెప్టెంబర్​తో ముగిసిన త్రైమాసికంలో.. పీవీఆర్​ సంస్థ రూ. 71.23 కోట్ల నికర నష్టాన్ని నమోదు చేసింది. గతేడాది ఇదే త్రైమాసికంతో పోల్చుకుంటే(రూ. 153.13కోట్ల లాభం).. ఇది 53 శాతం తక్కువ.

కాగా.. కార్యకలాపాల నుంచి వచ్చిన ఆదాయం రూ. 686.72కోట్లుగా నమోదైంది. ఎఫ్​వై23 క్యూ1లో రూ. 120.32కోట్ల ఆదాయాన్ని పీవీఆర్​ గడించింది. అదే సమయంలో పీవీఆర్​ పూర్తి ఆదాయం.. రూ. 703.13కోట్లుగా నిలిచింది. గత త్రైమాసికంలో అది రూ. 275.21 కోట్లుగా ఉంది.

ఈ త్రైమాసికంలో అడ్మిషన్లు మరియు సగటు టిక్కెట్ ధరలు బాలీవుడ్ మరియు హాలీవుడ్ సినిమాల నాసిరకమైన పనితీరుతో ప్రభావితమయ్యాయని స్టాక్ ఎక్స్ఛేంజ్ ఫైలింగ్‌లో PVR తెలిపింది.

ఈ త్రైమాసికంలో బాలీవుడ్ సినిమాల ప్రదర్శన ఆశించిన స్థాయి కంటే తక్కువగా ఉందని గుర్తించబడింది. ఈ మల్టీప్లెక్స్ చెయిన్లో ‘బ్రహ్మాస్త్ర పార్ట్ వన్: శివ’ తప్ప, ‘లాల్ సింగ్ చద్దా’, ‘రక్షా బంధన్’, ‘లైగర్’ వంటి భారీ బడ్జెట్ సినిమాలు వాటి పై ఉన్న అంచనాల కంటే చాలా తక్కువగా ప్రభావం చూపాయి.

కరోనా మహమ్మారి వ్యాప్తికి ముందు.. ఆ తరువాత విడుదలైన చలనచిత్రాలు ప్రస్తుత వినియోగదారులకు ఉన్న ప్రాధాన్యతలతో సరిపోవకపోవడం, స్టార్ ఇమేజ్ కన్నా కంటెంట్ కే ప్రాధాన్యత ఇవ్వడం వంటి అంశాలతో పాటు కొందరు బాలీవుడ్ స్టార్లు మరియు వారి సినిమాల పై సోషల్ మీడియాలో నెలకొన్న ప్రతికూల ప్రచారాల కారణంగా హిందీ చిత్రాల పనితీరు ఈ సంవత్సరం దిగువ స్థాయిలో ఉండింది.

అలాగే, PVR మల్టీ ప్లెక్స్ వద్ద టికెట్ రేట్లు మరియు తినుబండారాల ధరలు సగటు ప్రేక్షకుడికి అందుబాటులో ఉండకపోవడం కూడా ఈ నష్టానికి కారణంగా చెప్పవచ్చు. అయితే, స్టార్ హోటల్ లాంటి వాతావరణం, ఎలాంటి ఆటంకం లేకుండా నాణ్యమైన సినిమా అనుభవం కావాలంటే ఆ మాత్రం ఖర్చు చేయాలి అని మరి కొందరు వాదిస్తున్నారు.

అయితే ఈ వాదోప వాదనలు పక్కన పెడితే ప్రాంతీయ సినిమాలు మాత్రం తమ జోరును PVR వద్ద కొనసాగించాయి. ప్రాంతీయ సినిమాల బాక్సాఫీస్ సహాయం Q2 FY20లో 28% నుండి Q2 FY23లో 44%కి పెరిగింది. ఇది ఖచ్చితంగా PVR సంస్థకు భరోసా కలిగించే ధోరణి అని చెప్పాలి.

ఇదిలా ఉండగా, PVR మల్టీప్లెక్స్ చైన్ తన ప్రత్యర్థి INOX సంస్థతో ఆల్-స్టాక్ డీల్‌లో విలీనం కానుంది మరియు 109 నగరాల్లో 1,546 స్క్రీన్‌లతో భారతదేశపు అతిపెద్ద ఎగ్జిబిషన్ సంస్థగా అవతరించినుంది.
