Megastar Chiranjeevi gave indirect counters many times on director Koratala Siva by saying that a director should take his inputs and respecting his experience. At the pre-release event of his latest film, Waltair Veerayya Chiranjeevi took an indirect dig at Koratala Siva. Don’t know whether Koratala responds to this later or not.
Ahead of the film’s release on January 13th, the pre-release event of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya was held grandly in Vizag on Sunday.
Chiru in his speech said Bobby valued his high experience and took the ideas in script and screenplay. While applauding Bobby’s humility in taking his involvement in the changes, Chiru criticized that some directors do not listen and continue with their version.
Though Chiranjeevi didn’t point out to any director by name, we can interpret that the awkward result of Acharya is still troubling him. His serious remarks look to be intended at director Koratala Siva who helmed Acharya. It appears that Koratala didn’t take Chiru’s ideas while working for Acharya.
As the film ended as a massive disaster at the box office, Chiru and Koratala were criticized for choosing such an outdated script. Chiranjeevi couldn’t stand the defeat and whenever he gets a chance, he’s mentioning that if Koratala had received his suggestions, then Acharya wouldn’t have been such a disaster.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi showed high confidence in Waltair Veerayya and predicted it would emerge as the biggest blockbuster in his career. He told it as an emotional rollercoaster ride and a perfect commercial entertainer filled with all the elements that will impress all sections of audiences.
He showered praises on director Bobby for making this film a wholesome entertainer with his hard work and commitment. Furthermore, he said Bobby is a perfectionist in narration, Story writing, screenplay, and direction.
Chiru also appreciated the producers of Mythri Movie Makers and hailed them as one of the biggest production houses in the history of Tollywood similar to Ashwini Dutt, Allu Aravind and Rama Naidu.
He stated producers like Mythri Movie Makers are very much necessary for the growth of the industry. He wished best of luck to Veera Simha Reddy and hoped that both films will emerge as super hits during the Sankranti season.
