Ever since the films Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy announced the release dates for Sankranthi-2023, there are plenty of controversies happening regarding the theater’s allocation for both the films in Telugu States.
Mythri movie makers have opened the distribution office and releasing their both biggies Waltair veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy in Nizam. Everyone’s point is how can they compete with Dil Raju who is more experienced in the distribution field and has a firm hold on the theaters.
It is natural that Dil Raju will try his best to allocate the maximum amount of theaters for Varisu/Varasudu. But the problem is it is a dubbed film, and he will have immense pressure from the exhibitors and other industry people like producers’ guild.
Today Dil Raju in an interview confirmed that number of theaters release will decide the capacity of a distributor, as the Mythri makers have opened the distribution. Now he said that they’re in competition and this is completely business. Dil Raju said that he wants to prove himself in this competition.
Let’s see who wins over who in this race for the theaters in Telugu States. All the three films which are releasing for Sankranthi have ramped up their promotions.
Varisu had its audio launch recently and Waltair Veerayya had a formal press meet yesterday, Veera Simha Reddy released its third single a few days back and both the films will have their pre-release events in January first week.
