Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy and Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya are all set to clash for Sankranti 2023. While Balakrishna’s action entertainer will release on 12th January, Chiranjeevi’s project will release a day later on 13th January. Apart from the clash between Chiru and Balayya, this is also going to be a clash between two leading music directors of Tollywood- SS Thaman and Devi Sri Prasad.
So far, 3 songs have been released from both movies. And looking at the parameters such as YouTube views, In Music platform plays and response from netizens, DSP has taken the lead over Thaman with great response to mainly 2 songs. Boss Party and Waltair Veerayya title song has created a positive impact while Jai Balayya, Suguna Sundari and Ma Baava Manobhavalu from Balayya starrer have not exactly set records rolling.
Both the senior stars are clashing after 6 years at the box office and it has created great anticipation among fans. Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya is directed by Bobby and co-stars Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, and Catherine Tresa. Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy on the other hand is directed by Gopichand Malineni and also stars Shruti Haasan, Duniya Vijay, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. Both these projects are bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
