Story behind SSMB27

Earlier we reported that SSMB27 is not yet fixed. Now we bring you the exclusive back story of what’s going on with SSMB27.

Superstar Mahesh who opened this decade with a blockbuster in the form of SarileruNeekevvaru planned to work with Vamsi Paidipally for his next project. During the filming of SarileruNeekevvaru he also listened to a story from Parasuram which he liked but since he made a commitment to Vamsi, he said the project with Parasuram will be delayed. He suggested 14 reels plus producers and Parasuram to not wait for him and they set a project with Naga Chaitanya which was officially announced.

Mahesh went on vacation after Sarileru’s success and thought that Vamsi will be ready for him with a bounded script. Vamsi narrated the story to mahesh this month and apparently Mahesh didn’t like it at all. Disappointed with that, Mahesh called Parasuram and said he is okay to start the film with him now. Parasuram was more than happy as he is waiting to direct the superstar for long.
Project with Mahesh and Parasuram will be announced officially only after giving clarity on Naga Chaitanya’s project.

This week we had a total of 5 releases including 1 dubbed movie, Bheeshma released with good buzz among all other releases.

After having a glimpse of promotional material of team Bheeshma, everyone thought it’s going to be a fun ride as expected it opened up with fun-filled blockbuster talk from USA Premiers and went on raking career best first day, first weekend figures for youth star Nithin.

It collected a worldwide share of 8cr, on its first day and got a strong hold with blockbuster talk on its second day and shows a huge momentum on Sunday which aims at recovering 80% of theatrical rights by its first weekend itself.

Remaining releases like Valayam, Pressure cooker, Cheema prema madhyalo bhaama and Vasanthakaalam failed to attract the audience and ended up as failures by first weekend itself.

Meanwhile last week’s sensation World Famous Lover ended up its run after 4 days of release due to unanimous bad talk from audience and Jaanu also ended up its run at Boxoffice. However Sankranthi blockbusters Sarileruneekevvaru, Alavaikunthapurramulo continuing their dream run towards 50 days with decent shares on weekends.

Superstar Mahesh is going to work with Parasuram for his next project. While working on Geetha Govindam, Director Parasuram and Gopi Sundar shared a good rapport and Gopi is likely to score music for Parasuram’s next project with Mahesh.

It would be the Second time that Parasuram will be associated with Gopi Sundar after Sensational blockbuster Geetha Govindam

All the cast and crew of SSMB27 will be officially announced in a few days.

What happened to Vanga ?

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the overnight sensational director of cult film Arjun Reddy which he remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh has been missing in action since its release.

There was news during the filming of Kabir Singh that he narrated a script to Superstar Mahesh babu with rumours floating around that that Mahesh will sport a mechanic character but no progress was made on that since then. Later, news broke out that Vanga will shift to Bollywood and direct Ranbir Kapoor but again nothing was announced.

Seems like Sandeep Reddy Vanga is in a confused state on where to continue and his main concern right now is to get a project in line.
