Naga Chaitanya and Rashi Khanna floor fans with selfies

Naga Chaitanya and Raashi Khanna have given their fans a beautiful surprise through a couple of candid selfies. The pictures were taken on sets of Thank You where the duo can be seen taking a relaxing break.

The film’s shoot recently took place in Europe. Raashi Khanna took to social media to post a photograph of the duo taking selfie wit during the shot break. She captioned the image, “In between shots.. with this one.”

Naga Chaitanya will be teaming up with Vikram Kumar who will be directing this film. Rashi Khanna has been roped in to play the lead role in the film.

Incidentally, Rashi Khanna was also seen in a small role in Naga Chaitanya and Vikram Kumar’s last collaboration’ Manam’. Post this, Naga Chaitanya and Rashi Khanna paired for the second time in Venky Mama. Although the movie did not succeed, their pairing was well appreciated.

Rashi, who was last seen in ‘World Famous Lover’ opposite Vijay Devarakonda has been missing from action for almost more than a year and would be looking to register a hit to her credit with Thank You.

Adipurush team planning to shift to Hyderabad

Adipurush team has been facing one obstacle after the other since the movie was launched. First the movie unit had to halt the shooting due to a fire accident on the sets. Next came a bigger jolt when the team had to stop shooting due to the Maharashtra government’s order. The state government back in April ordered to stop the shooting of all tv serials, reality shows, and movies in Maharashtra due to rising Covid cases.

Meanwhile, there are reports coming up that the Adipurush team has decided to move the shoot to Hyderabad to ensure speedy completion of the schedule.

The makers have now decided to shoot the entire film behind closed doors with limited technicians. The shooting will be done using chroma and the background will be added later, said a source. VFX technicians from Hollywood will handle the extensive visual effects that will be used in the film.

Adipurush is a mythological drama based on Ramayan and is being directed by Om Raut. Prabhas will be playing the titular role of Adipurush (Lord Ram). The film also Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh also star in this mega-budget movie.

Sundeep Kishan in a supernatural fantasy

Sundeep Kishan’s 34th birthday brought in an announcement on his upcoming movie. The actor has joined hands yet again with Disco Raja fame director Vi Anand. Rajesh Danda is producing the movie and it is billed as a supernatural fantasy. This will be the second movie for Sundeep with Vi Anand after the 2015 film Tiger.

Sharing the announcement poster on social media, director Vi Anand extended his gratitude to Sundeep. The tweet read, “#Tiger with you was a film that gave me an identity. Meanwhile, Sundeep is gearing up for his upcoming film Gully Rowdy. The film’s trailer released recently and was well appreciated. G Nageswara Reddy, who’s known for the comedy genre is wielding the megaphone for this movie. This will be his second collaboration with Sandeep after Tenali Ramakrishna BA. BL.

Vijay to give green signal to Vamshi Paidipally

As we reported a few days ago, director Vamshi Paidipally has obtained a go-ahead from Thalapathy Vijay for his upcoming film. The ‘Master’ actor has been in plans to do a direct Telugu film for quite some time. Noticing this, multiple directors and producers approached Vijay. However, it was Vamshi, who got the final preference. Dil Raju will produce this movie.

Sources tell us that the film is going to be an action-drama filled with emotions and entertainment. As soon as Vijay fulfils his other commitments, he will begin shooting for the Vamshi directorial.

While some of Vijay’s movies like Katthi and Thuppaki have done incredibly well in Telugu states, his following in Telugu is relatively less as compared to that of the likes of Suriya and Rajnikanth. This was the main reason behind Vijay’s Telugu plans.

After the success of ‘Maharshi’, Vamshi has been lying low and a film with the Tamil superstar might just be the boost he would need to get into the big league.

Sonu Sood helps Suresh Raina by arranging oxygen

Sonu Sood in his latest act of kindness came to the rescue of former India cricketer Suresh Raina, who took to Twitter and urged UP CM Yogi Adityanath to help his 65-year-old Covid-19 positive aunt by giving leads for an oxygen cylinder.

“Urgent requirement of an oxygen cylinder in Meerut for my aunt. Age – 65 Hospitalised with Sever lung infection. Covid+ SPO2 without support 70 SPO2 with support 91 Kindly help with any leads.@myogiadityanath,” Suresh Raina tweeted.

Sonu Sood soon took note of the CSK star’s requirement and replied saying, “Oxygen cylinder reaching in 10 mins bhai.”

Needless to say, Raina was floored by this response and thanked Sonu for the timely help. Sonu Sood has been working non-stop towards charitable causes for a long time. With the surge of Covid cases across the country, he has become busier than ever. Recently Sonu airlifted a Covid patient to Hyderabad from Nagpur to provide better treatment.

Sonu himself recently recovered from Covid. Earlier last month he was tested positive for the virus and went on home isolation for a couple of weeks.

Tharun Bhascker’s web series gets a release date

Tharun Bhascker is coming up with his web series Room No. 54 soon. The web series follows the story of four college friends. The room number of the hostel in which these friends stay happens to be number 54 hence the title.

The web series will release on May 21st on Zee5. This will be produced by Tharun Bhascker and directed by newcomer Siddharth Gowtham. The web series has already set high expectations. The main reason for heavy expectations is Tharun’s earlier films Pelli Chupulu and Ee Nagaraninki Emaindi which were based on similar themes.

Tharun also been trying his hand at acting of late. He was seen in key roles in Falaknuma Das, Meeku Matrame Chepta and Middle Class Melodies.

OTT platforms are not new to Tharun Bhascker. Recently he directed a short story for Netflix’s Pittakathalu. Tharun’s story featured Abhay Bethiganti, Saanve Meghana, and Lakshmi Manchu.

Room No. 54 though will be completely helmed by Siddharth Gowtham. The web series will include fun times and experiences in college. Tharun recently said that the film will remind all of their college days.

The team of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR recently came together to make an appeal to the public. RRR team’s public announcement was about the safety protocols to follow for Covid’s second wave which is wreaking havoc across the nation. The team appealed all to wear masks and practice social distancing. RRR team’s appeal for vaccination was one of the key highlights of the video.

Interestingly, the video saw SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhat, and Ajay Devgn all speaking in different languages. Alia Bhat surprised everyone by speaking in Telugu. SS Rajamouli delivered his message in Malayalam. Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and Ajay Devgn spoke in Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi respectively.

RRR team’s creative initiative has won everyone over with netizens appreciating the team for promoting vaccination. There have been a number of rumours and misinformation floating around about the vaccines and it was about time someone from film industry came forward to speak on the issue.

The entire team was uniformly dressed in whites and gave out the message in the languages in which RRR would be releasing in. Last year Jr NTR and Ram Charan released a similar public service announcement regarding Corona. The duo had requested everyone to wear masks, practice social distancing and washing hands frequently.

Samantha’s Family Man 2 on this date?

Shruti Haasan to team up with a senior actor?

Actress Shruti Haasan made a comeback to the big screen earlier this year after a gap of 4 years. Ever since she made a comeback, she has been on a signing spree. Post her successful comeback with Krack, she appeared again for a brief role in Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab. She has also signed up as a female lead in Prabhas’ Salaar.

Shruti will also be seen opposite Vijay Sethupathi in the soon-to-release Tamil political thriller Laabam. Now we hear that Shruti will be seen in another big film opposite a senior actor.

There are reports that she will be seen opposite Balakrishna in the Gopichand Malineni film. Shruti has already worked with Gopichand Malineni in Balupu and Krack and there are chances that this combo might be repeated again. The untitled Balakrishna- Malineni will reportedly have two actresses.

Adivi Sesh sets up a water plant for hospital

Adivi Sesh joined the Covid relief works going on and made a generous move. The actor/writer set up a water plant in King Koti District Hospital for the hygienic supply of water for patients, frontline workers, and the staff. The hospital had no supply of clean water for the last eight months and was functioning on packaged water.

“I guess we are all trying to do our bit. Our nation needed to be better prepared and now we need to respond to this crisis better. The response starts with humanity,” said Adivi Sesh.

The medical staff along with the patients had no access to clean drinking water and had to carry their own supply of water through plastic bottles. Working with no water in the PPE kits often led to dehydration of the medical staff.

Earlier, Adivi Sesh had arranged for nearly 850 liters of packaged drinking water for the hospital. The shortage of water in the hospital came to the fore after few media outlets had reported the issue. Sesh immediately spoke to the hospital superintendent and resolved the issue

The hospital which is a Level 2 Covid care centre with nearly 300 moderate to severe COVID patients has had no drinking water supply for eight months.

Adivi Sesh, meanwhile is getting ready for some exciting projects post-Major. He will be next seen in HIT 2: The Second Case. He will be replacing Vishwak Sen who played the lead in the first installment of the movie. A sequel of Sesh’s 2018 hit Goodachari is also on the cards next.
