Superstar Mahesh Babu’s birthday is not just an occasion for celebration for the fans but for the entire industry. The SSMB Space that was conducted yesterday was proof of the same. The space was one of its kind turned out to be the biggest in TFI till now.
The space was attended by Industry’s who’s who such as directors Sreenu Vaitla, Anil Ravipudi, Parasuram Petla, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, music directors Devi Sri Prasad, SS Thaman and a number of film industry celebrities, and journalists and 14,000 plus cine lovers.
One of the biggest highlights of the session was Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s wishes. The ‘Arjun Reddy’ director said that they will definitely work together very soon. He further added that while he has worked with Superstar Mahesh for only one ad and has met him socially, he observed that Mahesh’s mannerisms and style and that 75% of Mahesh’s potential is untapped which he will definitely tap. The director had earlier narrated a script to Mahesh.

Icon Star Allu Arjun is a busy man these days. The actor is looking to finish up the balance portions of Pushpa and will then move on to his next film Icon. Directed by Venu Sriram, Icon will be a pan India film and will go on floors in October once Allu Arjun wraps up Pushpa.

Gopichand and Tamannah starrer Seetimarr has finally got a release date. Directed by Sampath Nandi, Seetimarr was earlier scheduled to release on April 2nd but ran into multiple financial troubles and lockdown-related delays. The makers are now planning to release the action entertainer on September 10th.
The movie has failed to create any buzz and recently there were reports of Seetimarr going for an OTT release. However with the theatres opening up the makers have decided to go with a theatrical release. The two songs- ‘Jwala Reddy’ and ‘Pepsi Aunty’ that have been released so far have received a dull reception.
Gopichand will be playing a Kabaddi coach in the film produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under Srinivasaa Silver Screen.

The members of the group have claimed that the makers have portrayed the Hindu religion in a bad light and the lyrics and visuals are objectionable.
A complaint has also been filed against lyricist Ananth Sriram in this matter in Hyderabad. The members of the BJP Mahila morcha have demanded immediate removal of Digu Digu Digu Naaga from the film as well as online media.
Ritu Varma’s dance and the groovy tunes have made this adaptation of famous folk song quite popular and have created a great buzz for the movie. Lakshmi Sowjanya is directing this romantic entertainer and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is bankrolling the project under Sithara Entertainments banner. It needs to be seen what steps makers take now.
