Alia Bhatt in talks for Mahesh- Rajamouli film

Superstar Mahesh Babu & SS Rajamouli combo has been one of the most anticipated projects in Tollywood. Both Mahesh and Rajamouli have huge mutual admiration for each other. The duo has been planning to come together for a while. Now, the project has been made official and will go on floors once Superstar and SSR get free from their existing commitments.

Mahesh had recently confirmed the project and stated that this will be a pan-India project. He further added that this will also mark his entry in Hindi.

“I have always wanted to do the right film at the right time if it was a Hindi film. And I think the time is now… my next is with SS Rajamouli sir and that will be in all languages,” he said during an interview.

Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’s project has got everyone on their toes eagerly awaiting in anticipation. As per reports, Alia Bhatt is being considered as the lead opposite Superstar. Rajamouli is currently focused on his upcoming project RRR and will then move on to this much-awaited film. Amidst all this waiting there’s another massive ongoing buzz in Tollywood circles. Rajamouli has reportedly approached Tamil star Vikram to play the villain for this prestigious project.

The Mahesh-Rajamouli film is going to be an action-adventure film with a totally unique backdrop and never-before visuals. The ace director along with his father K Vijayendra Prasad is currently developing the script.
