Dil Raju Planning To Release Big Films From This Date

In a recent press meet, ace producer Dil Raju had a few things to say regarding the release dates of the upcoming big films.

Dil Raju said that he is in active discussion with the producers of the upcoming biggies and that they are collectively planning the release dates of the biggie films. “We are planning to start releasing the films from February 25th” Dil Raju added in the press meet.

“Most of the big movies will release by March and April, we are in talks with the producers to consider the release dates. We are considering all factors, and are being understanding of each other. We will make the right decisions moving forward.” he added.

There has been a lot of confusion regarding the release dates of biggies like RRR, Radhe Shyam, Bheemla Nayak, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, and Acharya. Apart from these, there is also the multistarrer F3 that is waiting patiently in line. Dil Raju’s words have given some amount of assurance regarding the release dates.

There are also a lot of biggies releasing from the other states, like Beast and KGF. Producers will have to consider all these factors before announcing the release dates of their movies.

Vijay’s stardom needs no introduction to an average movie buff. His last few movies have smashed one record after another making him one of the most sought-after Kollywood stars. This is why the news of Vamsi Paidipally collaborating with Vijay for a bilingual project shocked many.

“The biggest project of my career will commence soon after the Covid curve flattens. Dil Raju will bankroll the project and Thalapathy Vijay will feature in it. We haven’t announced it yet due to the Covid situation,” said the director. This film will be bankrolled by Dil Raju and the first film for Vijay in Telugu.

Vijay is going to be the biggest attraction to the movie and this is why he is being offered a whopping Rs 80 crores for the film. Apart from this, he will also receive a share in profits making him one of the highest-paid actors in India.

Vijay has already given his nod to the project, and the scripting is in its final stage. Dil Raju will be producing the project under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie will go on floors once the pandemic eases. Vijay will be next seen in Thalapathy 65 directed by Nelson Dileepkumar. He will be paired opposite Pooja Hegde for the first time in this film.

Khiladi Movie Producer Gifts Director Premium Car

Ace producer Koneru Satya Narayana has gifted director Ramesh Varma a premium car. Ramesh Varma is the director of Ravi Teja’s next movie, titled Khiladi. After watching the final output of the film, Koneru Satya Narayana was so impressed that, he decided to gift Ramesh Varma a brand new Range Rover in return.

This is the second time that Satya Narayana has produced a film for Ramesh Varma. The duo has previously collaborated for Rakshasudu, starring Bellamkonda Srinivas.

Coming to Khiladi, the film is an action crime spectacle that will be along the lines of Kick. The film is all set to release on February 11th in theatres. So far the film is generating positive all around, with good pre-release business as well.

The movie also stars Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, and Meenakshi Choudhary in prominent roles. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the film.

Prabhas’ Salaar to be made in two parts?

Prabhas Salaar is one of the most awaited movies this year. Prashanth Neel’s direction and large-scale action sequences shot on Prabhas are one of the biggest drawing factors of this action thriller.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see Prabhas in an out-and-out commercial action flick which Prashanth Neel is famous for. Right from the first look the movie gave off rustic and rugged vibes taking fans’ expectations to new heights. The shooting is ongoing with full force and some heavy action sequences are in the making.

Amidst the news of some grand actions sequences being shot, reports are emerging that this movie will be shot in two parts. There are speculations that there will be a sequel to this film that will complete the story. If this indeed happens, it would be the second pan-India sequel project for both Prabhas and Prashanth after Baahubali and KGF.

Due to the massive positive buzz for the movie, Hombale Films have decided to extend the budget of the film. The makers have decided to utilize and market Prabhas’s craze and have decided to increase the budget by about 15-20%. Hence, going for the movie in two parts seems to be a commercially viable option for makers.

Produced by Hombale films, Salaar also has Shruti Haasan opposite Prabhas. Ravi Basrur is composing the music marking his fourth collaboration with Prashanth Neel after Ugram, KGF:1 and KGF:2.

Jr NTR is one of the busiest actors in Tollywood at the moment. Despite not having any release for the last 3 years, he has been constantly working on RRR and also completed his first season as the host of Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu. Now he will be soon joining Koratala Siva for NTR 30.

There is also the much-awaited project with Prashanth Neel in the pipeline. Jr NTR recently spoke about his future projects to a Hollywood portal. “Me and him did a previous film called Janatha Garage, which was a big blockbuster. We are getting back together post RRR, at this juncture we’re still working on the script, we have an idea. I’m looking forward to that one. And then I have a film with Prashanth Neel, the director of K.G.F., coming up,” he stated.

Now, there is another name that has come up in the list of exciting future prospects for the RRR star. Jr NTR will be teaming up with Uppena director Buchi Babu Sana. This project will go on floors towards the year-end and Tarak has given a green signal to this new director. The project with Prashant Neel will happen after the one with Buchi Babu wraps up.

While Buchi Babu’s debut was an impressive one and ended up a blockbuster, both the leads were debutants. It would be interesting to see how he manages to handle the star image of Jr NTR and brings it alive on screen.

The musical chairs of the release date are going to continue for quite some time. All the Tollywood biggies such as RRR, Radhe Shyam Acharya and Bheemla Nayak among others have made multiple changes to their releases. Now as per reports, another release date change is underway.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya and Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak will are all set to give another update on their release date. Acharya will now release sometime in May instead of April 1st. Bheemla Nayak on the other hand will now hit the screens on the date fixed by Acharya earlier i.e. 1st April. The makers of Bheemla Nayak earlier announced 25th February as the release date. However, that is soon going to change.

The rising Covid cases and 50% occupancy restrictions in many states and even night curfews in some, left the makers were left with no other option. All the biggies have changed their release date more than once and it looks like this situation will take some time to settle down.

Adding to this the corona cases in Europe and USA have made the overseas collections scenario also quite grim. With a number of biggies set to release in the coming months, the makers, as well as Mega fans are praying there are no further changes to Acharya and Bheemla Nayak.
