A few months back it was reported that the much-awaited Nayanthara- Vignesh wedding will be streamed on Netflix. The star-studded wedding evoked great interest from all circles and this is why Netflix was interested in a deal that was estimated to be of Rs 25 crores.
However, as per fresh reports, Netflix has canceled the deal and is no longer taking this project ahead. Vignesh Shivan shared photos of the wedding on the completion of one month, in which some celebrities including Shahrukh Khan, Rajinikanth, filmmakers Mani Ratnam and Atlee were also seen.
Netflix, as per the deal was planning to keep these appearances under wraps and wanted to reveal these star appearances straight in the documentary. With already so much revealed through social media, the OTT giant sees little value in going ahead with the project.
Nayanthara and Vignesh got married on June 9th at a resort in Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu. It was a royal yet low-key event in presence of close friends and family members followed by a lavish wedding reception in Chennai.
