The Warrior is another nightmare for exhibitors and distributors

Looks like Tollywood’s troubles at the box office will continue for some more time. This week’s release The Warrior has entered into its 4th day and is performing terribly much to the exhibitors and distributors’ disappointment.

The Warrior is heading towards the biggest disaster for Ram in his career. The 3 days Worldwide share is approx Rs 10Cr and the theatricals are valued at Rs35Cr. Only 28.5 % recovery has been made so far and with weekdays coming and poor word of mouth continuing, a breakeven looks highly impossible.

As per the current trends, the film is expected to give more than 50% loss to all the involved parties.

Lingusamy has directed this action entertainer which featured Ram as a cop for the first time. Krithi Shetty played the female lead while Aadhi Pinnisetty featured in a negative role. The Warrior opened to mostly negative reviews and the film continued the Tollywood slump which saw recent films like Ante Sundaraniki and Pakka Commercial failing as well.
