Post the success of Akhanda, Balakrishna has truly been unstoppable. He is currently shooting for Gopichand Malineni’s untitled mass actioner NBK107. From the first look and the teaser of the film, fans can expect Balayya in a massy rugged avatar.

Following NBK107, Balakrishna has also officially signed a film with director Anil Ravipudi. Anil Ravipudi has mentioned in multiple interviews that he wants to show Balakrishna in a funny avatar. The director also said that Balayya has very good comedic timing and I can utilize that in the film.

Anil is almost done with the scripting work of the film and the movie will go on floors once Balakrishna is done shooting for NBK107. According to news from the industry circles, Anil Ravipudi has planned on keeping the title of the film as ‘Bro I don’t care’.

But, Balakrishna has not approved of the title and is asking the director to change it. Balayya has said that he does not like the title as it is not apt for Telugu audiences. Instead, he has asked Anil to go for a more massy title in Telugu.

It is yet to be seen whether Anil will stick with the original title or make changes. Anil Ravipudi is one of the most successful directors in the industry right now. He has delivered only commercially successful films at the box office. It will be crucial for him to follow his gut instinct and not fall prey to the star power of Balayya as we have seen the result of that with Acharya.

Akhil Akkineni’s Agent is one of the most exciting projects currently brewing in Tollywood. From the first look to the teaser now, the expectations have been growing from height to height. A few days ago, the teaser of the film was released and has received an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences.

It is very clear from the teaser that the film has been made on a huge budget and it is crucial for the film to perform well in all languages to be deemed a hit. The movie is releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada as well as in Malayalam.

The makers of Agent are currently looking at a potential Christmas release for the film. However strong the buzz for Agent is, the question that remains is whether Agent can compete with Avatar: The Way of Water at the box office.

Agent is no doubt a crazy film but if there is one movie that is crazier, it is Avatar. The second installment of the Avatar series has a lot of hype riding on it and if it gets positive talk from audiences, Agent might struggle to compete.

There is no doubt that the theatre market has gone down drastically in the last few years. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country, theatres have had to suffer a lot in the recent past. The Active Telugu Film Producers Guild has been looking at this problem keenly and has been conducting meetings to discuss the same.

The main agenda put forth by the producers is to release the film on OTT only after 50 days. This way, the movie will enjoy a solid theatrical run, making the producers, distributors as well as exhibitors happy. While this is a noble idea, there is a bigger issue at hand.

The main problem as to why films are suffering on the big screen is the exorbitant ticket rates. The big star hero films will somehow bring back the money spent due to their star power but the medium budget films fail to do so.

The question is why are medium-budget movies also releasing their films with 200,250 and 150 rupees ticket prices. Their theatrical business is minimum and these films can easily recover their amount with standard rates like 80,100 and 120 rupees. But for some reason, the producers are not taking this aspect into consideration.

All the active film producers are saying only one thing, “Our film is releasing at low ticket prices.” But even those prices are not low enough for most audiences. A prime example of this was Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki which suffered at the box office due to high ticket rates, despite garnering positive reviews.

అక్కినేని నాగ చైత‌న్య హీరోగా నటించిన తాజా సినిమా “థాంక్యూ”. ప్రముఖ నిర్మాత దిల్‌రాజు నిర్మిస్తున్న ఈ సినిమాకి దిగ్గజ ఆడియో సంస్థ ఆదిత్య మ్యూజిక్ సహా నిర్మాతగా వ్యవహరిస్తుంది. శ్రీమ‌తి అనిత స‌మ‌ర్ప‌ణ‌లో శ్రీ వెంక‌టేశ్వ‌ర క్రియేష‌న్స్ బ్యాన‌ర్‌ పై దిల్‌ రాజు, శిరీష్ నిర్మించిన చిత్రం ‘థాంక్యూ’. విక్రమ్ కె.కుమార్ దర్శకత్వం వహించారు. జూలై 22న సినిమా విడుదల కానుంది.

ఈ చిత్రంలో నాగ చైతన్య ఓకే పాత్రలో మూడు విభిన్న షేడ్స్‌లో కనిపించనున్నారు. రాశీ ఖన్నా, మాళవికా నాయర్‌, అవికా గోర్‌ హీరోయిన్లుగా నటించారు. ఇదిలా ఉండగా ఈ శ‌నివారం చిత్ర యూనిట్ వైజాగ్‌లో ప్రీ రిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్‌ను నిర్వ‌హించింది. మొదట్లో ప్రచార కార్యక్రమాలు జోరుగా సాగినా.. ఆ తరువాత ఈ సినిమాకి సరైన విధంగా ప్రచారం జరగలేదని.. నిర్మాత దిల్ రాజు పై అక్కినేని అభిమానులు కాస్త అలక బూనిన మాట వాస్తవం.

ఆ విషయం అలా ఉంచితే.. ఇటీవల ఈ సినిమా నిడివి గురించిన ఒక వార్త ప్రచారంలోకి వచ్చింది. 2:51 నిమిషాలు అంటే దాదాపు మూడు గంటల నిడివి “థాంక్యూ” సినిమా ఉండబోతోందనే వార్త విని అక్కినేని అభిమానులు కాస్త ఉలిక్కిపడ్డారు. ఎందుకంటే అంత నిడివి ఉంటే..సినిమా ఎంతో అత్యద్భుతంగా ఉంటేనే అంత నిడివి ఉన్నా బోర్ కొట్టకుండా ప్రేక్షకులు ఆనందించే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది.

మరి థాంక్యూ లాంటి ఫీల్ గుడ్ సినిమాకి అంత నిడివి అనవసరం అన్న మాటలు వినిపించగా.. ఆ సూచనలు అన్నీ పరిగణలోకి తీసుకుని చిత్ర యూనిట్ సినిమా నిడివిని రెండు గంటల తొమ్మిది నిమిషాలకు (2 hr 9 mins) కుదించినట్లు తెలుస్తుంది.

దర్శకుడు విక్రమ్ కుమార్ ఇదివరకు తీసిన అన్ని చిత్రాలు కూడా ఎక్కువ నిడివి గలవే. మనం,24, గ్యాంగ్ లీడర్ వంటి చిత్రాలు అన్నీ ఆ కోవకు చెందినవే. మరి తక్కువ నిడివి వల్ల “థాంక్యూ” సినిమాకు మంచి జరుగుతుందా లేక చెడు జరుగుతుందా చూడాలి.

సూపర్ స్టార్ మహేష్ బాబు సర్కారు వారి పాట సినిమా తర్వాత త్రివిక్రమ్ శ్రీనివాస్ దర్శకత్వంలో తన 28వ సినిమా చేయబోతున్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఈ సినిమాకు సంబంధించిన రెగ్యులర్ షూటింగ్ ఆగస్టులో మొదలు పెట్టనున్నారు అని ఇటీవలే చిత్ర బృందం తెలిపారు. అయితే సినిమా కథ ఏమయి ఉంటుంది అనే విషయంలో ఇప్పటి వరకు ఎలాంటి వార్తా బయటకి రాలేదు. అయితే సోషల్ మీడియాలో ఈ సినిమా మీద క్రేజ్ మరియు కథా వస్తువు గురించి పుకార్లు రకరకాలుగా వినిపించాయి. ఇదిలా ఉండగా.. ఈ సినిమాకు సంబంధించి ఒక ఆసక్తికరమైన విషయం ప్రస్తుతం సూపర్ స్టార్ అభిమానులలో చర్చనీయాంశంగా మారింది.

ప్రస్తుతం తెలుగు సినిమా పరిశ్రమ పరిస్తితి ఏమాత్రం బాగోలేదు. పైకి అంతా బాగానే కనిపిస్తున్నా పలు రకాల సమస్యలతో సతమతం అవుతోంది అనేది వాస్తవం . ఒక సమస్య వదిలిందనుకుంటే మరొకటి మొదలవుతుంది. కరోనా వైరస్ కారణంగా ఏకంగా రెండేళ్ల పాటు సినిమాలు విడుదల చేయలేక పరిశ్రమ చాలా నష్టాలను చవి చూసింది . చాలా సినిమాల షూటింగ్‌లు నిలిచిపోవటం వలన నిర్మాతలు దెబ్బతిన్నారు. అలాగే పరిశ్రమ మీద ఆధారపడిన ఇతర రంగాల వారు కూడా నష్టపోయారు.

అయితే కరోనా రెండు వేవ్‌ల తర్వాత ఆ ప్రభావం సన్నగిల్లడంతో మళ్ళీ సినిమా నిర్మాణం, విడుదల చేయడం అన్ని పనులు తిరిగి ప్రారంభం అవడంతో ఇండస్ట్రీ వర్గాలు కాస్త ఊపిరి పీల్చుకున్నారు. హమ్మయ్య ఇక గాడిన పడుతుందని భావించారు. ఇక సమస్యలు ఏవీ లేకుండా హాయిగా వ్యాపారాన్ని చక్కదిద్దుకోవచ్చని అందరూ భావించారు. అయితే, కరోనా కారణంగా నష్టపోయిన వ్యాపారం తిరిగి లాభాల పాట పట్టాలనే ఉద్దేశ్యంతో ఒక తొందరపాటు నిర్ణయం తీసుకుని పెద్ద తప్పు చేశారు నిర్మాతలు.

చాలా రోజుల గ్యాప్ తర్వాత వస్తున్న పెద్ద హీరోల సినిమాలకు డబ్బులు ఖర్చు పెట్టడానికి అభిమానులు, సినిమా పిచ్చి ఉండే ప్రేక్షకులు ఎంత మాత్రం ఆలోచించరు గనక వారి పిచ్చి ప్రేమను క్యాష్ చేసుకునే ఆలోచనతో నిర్మాతలు అత్యాశకు పోయి సినిమా టికెట్ రేట్లు విపరీతంగా పెంచేశారు. రకరకాల కారణాలు చూపించిన ఇష్టం వచ్చినట్లుగా రేట్లు పెంచుకున్నారు. పెరిగిన టికెట్ రేట్లు పాన్ ఇండియా సినిమాలకు కొంతవరకూ లాభం తెచ్చిపెట్టినప్పటికీ, చాప కింద నీరులా ఈ టికెట్ రెట్లు ఒక వర్గం ప్రేక్షకులను సినిమాకు దూరం చేశాయి అనడంలో ఎలాంటి అనుమానం లేదు.

రాధేశ్యామ్, ఆచార్య, సర్కారు వారి పాట లాంటి సినిమాలకి 250-300 రేట్లతో టికెట్ల అమ్మకం జరిగింది. ఒక్కో టికెట్ రూ.300 లేదా 350 అంటే నలుగురు కుటుంబ సభ్యులు వెళ్లాలంటే సుమారు రూ.1500 దాకా ఖర్చు అవుతుంది. ఆ తర్వాత వచ్చిన ఎఫ్ 3 అయితే రూ.295, నాని నటించిన అంటే సుందరానికి కూడా అవే టికెట్ రేట్లు అమలులో ఉన్నాయి. దీంతో ప్రేక్షకులు ఇంక థియేటర్లకు వెళ్లి సినిమా చూసే కంటే కొన్ని రోజులు వేచి చూసి ఓటీటీ లోనే చూసుకోవచ్చు అనే నిర్ణయానికి వచ్చేశారు.

కళ్ళ ముందు ఇంత పెద్ద సమస్యను పెట్టుకుని నిర్మాతలు ఈ విషయాన్ని మాత్రం అస్సలు పట్టించుకోకుండా .. హీరోల రెమ్యునరేషన్ గురించీ, క్యారెక్టర్ ఆర్టిస్ట్ ల జీతభత్యాల గురించీ వాపోతున్నారు. అంతే తప్ప ఒక్క తాటి పై అందరూ ఉండి టికెట్ రేట్లను ఖరాఖండిగా నిర్ణయించకుండా విడుదల అయ్యే ప్రతి సినిమాకి రేట్లు ఎక్కువ తక్కువ అని ప్రచారం చేసుకుంటూ తమ పరువు తామే తీసుకుంటున్నారు.

హీరోగా వరుస పరాజయాల్లో ఉండి ఒక మంచి విజయం కోసం ఎదురు చూస్తున్న అక్కినేని వారసుడు అఖిల్ అక్కినేనికి ‘మోస్ట్ ఎలిజిబుల్ బ్యాచిలర్’ సినిమాతో కథానాయకుడిగా తొలి విజయం దక్కింది. గత ఏడాది బొమ్మరిల్లు భాస్కర్ దర్శకత్వంలో తెరకెక్కిన ‘మోస్ట్ ఎలిజిబుల్ బ్యాచిలర్’ సినిమాలో కాస్త సాప్ట్ రోల్ లో కనిపించి మెప్పించిన అఖిల్.. ఇపుడు ఏజెంట్ సినిమా కోసం ఒక యాక్షన్ హీరోగా మారిపోయారు.

ఈ సినిమాకు వక్కంతం వంశీ కథను అందిస్తున్నారు. ఈ చిత్రాన్నిఏకే ఎంటర్టెన్మెంట్స్ బ్యానర్ పై రామబ్రహ్మం సుంకర, సురెందర్2 సినిమా బ్యానర్ పై సురేందర్ రెడ్డి సంయుక్తంగా నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. యాక్షన్ థ్రిల్లర్ గాతెరకెక్కుతున్న ఈ చిత్రాన్ని భారీ బడ్జెట్ తో పాన్ ఇండియా స్థాయిలో విడుదలకు అన్ని ఏర్పాట్లూ పూర్తయ్యాయి. ఇక ఈ సినిమాలో మలయాళ మెగాస్టార్ మమ్ముట్టి మరో ముఖ్య పాత్రలో నటిస్తున్న విషయం తెలిసిందే.

ఇటీవలే ‘ఏజెంట్’ సినిమా టీజర్‌ను వివిధ భాషల్లో ఏక కాలంలో విడుదల చేశారు. కాగా ఈ టీజర్ సాంకేతికంగా హాలీవుడ్ స్థాయిలో ఉందని చెప్పవచ్చు. డైరెక్టర్‌గా సురేందర్ రెడ్డి టేకింగ్ అద్భుతంగా ఉంది. అఖిల్ గెటప్ కూడా అదిరిపోయింది అని టీజర్ చూసిన ప్రేక్షకులు అంటున్నారు. ఈ సినిమా కోసం అఖిల్ ఎంతో కష్టపడి తన శరీరాకృతిని మార్చుకున్నారు.

ఈ చిత్రాన్ని మొదట దసరాకు విడుదల చేయాలని భావించినా కోన్ని కారణాల వల్ల వాయిదా వేయాల్సి వచ్చింది. ఇక దీపావళికి విడుదల చేస్తారని కొన్ని పుకార్లు కూడా వచ్చాయి. అయితే తాజాగా వినిపిస్తున్న వార్తల ప్రకారం “ఏజెంట్” చిత్రాన్ని క్రిస్మస్ సందర్భంగా విడుదల చేస్తున్నారు అని తెలియవచ్చింది.

అయితే ఈ నిర్ణయం అంత మంచిది కాదని ట్రేడ్ వర్గాలు అంటున్నాయి. ఎందుకంటే ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా అత్యున్నత స్థాయిలో తెరకెక్కి.. అద్భుతమైన సినిమాగా ఉండబోతోందనే భారీ అంచనాలు ఉన్న “అవతార్ -2” ఆ డేట్ కు విడుదల అవుతుంది. మరి అంతటి బిగ్ హాలీవుడ్ సినిమాతో పోటీ పడటం అంటే అది “ఏజెంట్” చిత్రానికి జరిగిన బిజినెస్, కలెక్షన్ల పై ఖచ్చితంగా ప్రభావం చూపిస్తుంది అనడంలో ఎలాంటి సందేహం లేదు. మరి ఏజెంట్ చిత్ర యూనిట్ అనుకున్నట్టుగా క్రిస్టమస్ కే వస్తారా లేక విడుదల తేదీని మార్చుకుంటారా అనేది చూడాలి.

ప్రమఖ నిర్మాత దిల్ రాజు గురించి ప్రత్యేకంగా చెప్పనక్కర్లేదు. స్వశక్తితో, ఎటువంటి బ్యాక్ గ్రౌండ్ లేకుండా ఆయన ఒక డిస్ట్రిబ్యుటర్ నుంచి అగ్ర నిర్మాతగా ఆయన ఎదిగిన వైనం ఎందరికో ఆదర్శంగా నిలిచింది అనడంలో ఎలాంటి సందేహం లేదు. మొదట్లో చిన్న సినిమాలతో ప్రయాణం మొదలుపెట్టిన దిల్ రాజు ఆ తరువాత పెద్ద హీరోలతోనూ సినిమాలు తీశారు.

ఈ నగరానికి ఏమైంది, ఫలక్ నుమా దాస్ వంటి సినిమాలతో.. నటుడుగా తనకంటూ ఓ ప్రత్యేక గర్తింపు తెచ్చుకున్న యువ హీరో విశ్వక్ సేన్. ఆయన కొత్త డైరెక్టర్ శైలేష్ కొలను దర్శకత్వంలో చేసిన ఇన్వెస్టిగేటివ్ థ్రిల్లర్ “హిట్”. హీరో నాని నిర్మించిన ఈ చిత్రం చక్కని ప్రశంసలతో పాటు బాక్స్ ఆఫీస్ వద్ద కూడా విజయం సాధించింది. విమర్శకుల ప్రశంసల్నీ దక్కించుకుంది. 2020లో కరోనా మొదట వేవ్ కి నెల రోజుల ముందు విడుదలైంది “హిట్” సినిమా.

ఆ చిత్రాన్ని హిందీలో యువనటుడు రాజ్ కుమార్ రావు హీరోగా, సానా మల్హోత్రా హీరోయిన్ గా.. తెలుగు వెర్షన్ ను తెరకెక్కించిన దర్శకుడు శైలేష్ కొలను ఏ ఈ రీమేక్ వెర్షన్ కూడా భాధ్యత వహించారు. దీనికి అగ్ర నిర్మాత దిల్ రాజు నిర్మాత. టీ సీరీస్ సంస్థ కూడా సహా నిర్మాతలుగా వ్యవహరించిన ఈ సినిమా ఈ శుక్రవారం విడుదల అయింది.అయితే రివ్యూల పరంగా ఈ చిత్రం బాగానే మార్కులు వేయించుకున్నా, బాక్స్ ఆఫీసు వద్ద మాత్రం వసూళ్లు మాత్రం మరీ తీసికట్టుగా ఉన్నాయి.

దిల్ రాజు “హిట్” సినిమా కాకుండా మరో హిందీ సినిమాకు కూడా నిర్మాతగా వ్యవహరించారు. తెలుగులో హీరో నాని – గౌతమ్ తిన్ననూరి కాంబినేషన్లో వచ్చిన “జెర్సీ” చిత్రాన్ని హిందీలో షాహిద్ కపూర్ తో నిర్మించారు. అయితే ఆ చిత్రం కూడా కేవలం రివ్యూల వరకే మంచి స్పందన రాగా.. బాక్స్ ఆఫీస్ వద్ద ఘోర పరాజయం పొందింది. తొలి మూడు రోజుల వరకూ నామ మాత్రపు కలెక్షన్లు వచ్చినా ఆ తరువాత ఒక్కసారిగా ఆ చిత్రం చతికిల బడింది. సుమారుగా 25 కోట్ల గ్రాస్ మాత్రమే వసూలు చేయగలిగింది.

దిల్ రాజు హిందీలో తీసిన రెండు చిత్రాలు కూడా ఇలా ఫ్లాప్ అవడంతో.. ఆయనకు హిందీ పరిశ్రమ అంతగా అచ్చి రాలేదు అనే మాటలు ఇండస్ట్రీ వర్గాల్లో వినిపిస్తున్నాయి. తెలుగులో పని చేసే విధానానికి, హిందీలో పని చేసే విధానానికి చాలా తేడా ఉంది. అలాగే ప్రచార కార్యక్రమాల కూడా పద్ధతి కూడా వేరేలా ఉంటుంది. మరి రెండు పరాజయాల తరువాత దిల్ రాజు హిందీ సినిమా వైపు వెళ్లకుండా ఉంటారా లేక మరోసారి ప్రయత్నించి విజయం సాధిస్తారా అనేది చూడాలి.

Director Vikram Kumar is one of the most experimental directors in mainstream Telugu cinema. He has never stuck to the template of commercial movies with multiple fight scenes and hero introduction shots and so on.

Vikram has also been very keen on telling every story in extreme detail. Owing to this, most of his movies always have a very lengthy run time. Whether it was the science fiction 24 Movie, Nani’s Gang Leader, or Manam, all these movies have had long durations.

Now, with Thank You, Vikram had originally locked the runtime at 2 hours and 45 minutes. Thank You, being the complete journey of one person there is no surprise that Vikram wants to take his time with the story.

But, the team felt that the runtime was very long for a non-mass film and has decided to tone it down. The team has come to the decision of cutting the time to just 130 minutes, by trimming about 45 minutes of the film.

It is to be seen whether this decision from the makers will save or break the film. Coming to the cast, Raashi Khanna, Avika Gor and Malavika Nair also feature in this coming-of-age story. Thaman S is the music director of the film.

Dil Raju Failed To Create An Impact In Bollywood Again, Scores Another Disaster

Dil Raju is one of the most influential as well as successful producers in the Telugu Film Industry at the moment. The producer is responsible for some of the most successful films in Telugu. He has a knack for choosing good scripts.

Dil Raju recently made his way into Bollywood with the Hindi version of Nani’s Jersey. He was one of the main producers of Jersey, along with the Gill Brothers. But, unlike his success in Telugu, Jersey proved to be a disaster for the producer.

He expected that the film will be a huge blockbuster debut for him but the movie posted disastrous collections. His 2nd film in Bollywood is the remake of Vishwak Sen’s superhit film-HIT: The First Case and just like his previous production, HIT(Hindi) has crashed at the box office.

The film was released this weekend and washed out on the opening day itself. The Hindi version failed to create the magic of the original. After the failure of his second venture in Hindi, he will be closely looking at his next stop in Bollywood.

Dil Raju is currently busy with the production works of Vamsi Paidipally and Thalapathy Vijay’s movie as well as Ram Charan’s RC15. He will surely recover the losses from the Hindi ventures with these two power-packed films.
