Bheemla Nayak makers’ dilemma regarding release date

Bheemla Nayak is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Massive expectations are placed on this film. Bheemla Nayak makers have tried to infuse more commercial and thrilling elements in the film. The movie will be filled with racy moments and will be just over 2 hours in runtime.

Now, after crossing all the hurdles, Bheemla Nayak makers are facing one final challenge- the release date. The movie, like many others, has seen a number of last-minute changes in the release date. Originally, the film was supposed to hot the screens for Sankranti. However, due to the rising Covid cases and restricted occupancies in theatres, the film had to be pushed to 25th February.

Now, it looks like the film will hit the screens at a later date. However, the bigger question that remains is ‘when will the film release?’

March is packed with Radhe Shyam and RRR will be hitting the screens on 25th March. Coming to April, Acharya and KGF2 lie in this month. It needs to be seen if Bheemla Nayak actually waits till May when even Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata is being planned.

Sivakarthikeyan’s DON Confirms March 25th Release

Sivakarthikeyan has been one of the most talked-about actors in South India at the moment. The massive success of Doctor has really helped Sivakarthikeyan to go to the next level not only in Tamil Nadu but also in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Now his next movie, DON is releasing on 25th March in theatres. The movie will most likely release in both Tamil as well as Telugu. DON is a romantic comedy and from the first looks of the film, it promises another entertaining venture from Sivakarthikeyam.

Don also stars SJ Suryah, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Munishkanth, and Samuthirakani among others. Cibi Chakaravarthi is the writer as well as the director of the film. Sivakarthikeyan and Lyca Productions have co-produced the film. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director of the film.

Sivakarthikeyan has also signed a bunch of other projects. He has signed a film with Anudeep KV, and there is also a buzz that he is doing a movie with Bangarraju director, Kalyan Krishna Kurasala.

Vikram’s Mahaan Teaser: Action-Packed Gangster Drama

The teaser of Chiyaan Vikram’s much-awaited gangster drama Mahaan is finally out now. The teaser promises an action-packed thriller with Vikram playing the role of Gandhi Mahaan.

Going by the teaser, Mahaan is told to follow the ideals and practices of his ancestors, and lead the path that Gandhi led, which is, the path of closing down liquor shops in the country. But as he grows up, Mahaan forms his own ideals and does the exact opposite.

Gandhi Mahaan sets up a syndicate, where he deals with the sale of alcohol. He says in a scene ” If anyone needs alcohol, they need to only buy it from us.” The entire runtime of the teaser is spent in setting up the plot and showing us Vikram’s grey shades. We only get to see a glimpse of Dhruv Vikram in the teaser. He is referred to as Dada and will go up against Mahaan.

The film also stars Bobby Simha and Simran in crucial roles. Apart from the first look posters of their characters, nothing has been given away regarding their roles.

Karthik Subbaraj is the director of the film and will also be hoping to make a comeback after the disappointing Jagame Thandhiram. SS Lalit Kumar is the producer of the film. Ace Tamil music director Santosh Narayan has scored the music for the movie. The movie is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from February 10th, 2022.

Family Man series Director new Series for Netflix Platform

The directors of the hit spy thriller series Family Man, are now back with yet another exciting project. The director duo of Raj and DK announced their new series for Netflix, titled ‘Guns and Gulaabs’. Guns and Gulaabs is a new-age comedy thriller that has Raj and DK’s flavor all over it.

The series will star Rajkumar Rao and Dulquer Salmaan in lead roles in this quirky series. This is an extremely promising cast, which will target both the North as well as South markets. Rajkumar Rao has previously worked with Raj and DK in the hilarious horror comedy Stree. The White Tiger movie fame Adarsh Gaurav is also a part of the main cast.

This will mark the debut of Dulquer Salman in the OTT space. This is his first ever direct OTT series.

Raj and DK are also working with Samantha and Varun Dhawan in the spinoff of the Citadel series.

RRR makers inform distributors about the release date

The RRR release date has been one of the most followed topics in Tollywood circles of late. The film has already undergone multiple release date changes in the last couple of years due to various reasons. Recently, the RRR makers had announced 18th March or 28th April as the tentative dates for the release.

According to reports, the RRR makers have informed the distributors that the movie will now release on 28th April itself. 18th March was briefly considered as an option. However, with Karanata distributors allowing only Puneeth Rajkumar’s ‘James’ to release on that day, the makers had to go with 28th April.

This SS Rajamouli magnum opus was supposed to hit the screens worldwide on January 7th. The trio of Rajamouli-NTR and Ram Charan even did nationwide promotions. However, the rising Covid cases foiled all these plans.

Now, the situation is easing up across the nation. Many states have reopened theatres with 50% occupancy. This situation will only get better in the coming days. Hence the RRR makers have decided that now is the time and are gearing up for a grand release.

RRR also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Olivia Morris in prominent roles. DVV Danayya is bankrolling this big-budget action entertainer.

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa-The Rise has hit yet another magical milestone. The Hindi version of Pushpa has crossed a magical number in terms of collections. The film was released on 17th December 2021 amidst a lot of hype and expectations. The film was expected to do well in the two Telugu states but due to low ticket rates and mixed audience response, it managed to collect only 80+crores in share.

But to everyone’s pleasant surprise, the Hindi version of Pushpa-The Rise has performed exceedingly well. Due to the Hindi dubbed films of Allu Arjun on Youtube, he has managed to garner a massive fanbase in the Northern regions of India. The Hindi version has hit the magical milestone of 100 crores.

In addition to that, people were desperate to watch a good mass entertainer after a long time. Pushpa-The Rise delivered exactly that to the audiences. Just the Hindi collections of Pushpa have beaten Ranveer Singh’s 83 collections in Mumbai, Rajasthan, Bihar, and so on.

Mahesh Babu-Trivikram’s upcoming project is one of the most widely awaited ones in Tollywood. This will be the third film for the duo after Athadu and Khaleja. According to reports, Rahul is working on a time travel script for Naga Chaitanya. Rahul Sankrityan is notorious for choosing supernatural elements as the main theme of his film. He has previously done this in Taxiwala as well as Shyam Singha Roy. Both the films had their own unique elements which made both the films exciting to watch.

Naga Chaitanya also seems to be choosing out-of-the-box scripts at the minute.
