The makers of Vijay’s Beast have now joined the series of pack biggies to hit the screens in the coming months. According to sources, this action entertainer directed by Nelson Dileepkumar will release on May 13th.

Vijay wrapped up the shoot of the film back in December and it was expected that this action thriller would release for Pongal. ‘Thalapathy’ as he is fondly called by his fans is playing an out-and-out action role. The film revolves around a hostage situation in a shopping mall and will feature a number of thrilling action episodes.

The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Shine Tom Chacko, and Selvaraghavan as the antagonist among others. Sun Pictures have produced the film. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director of the film.

Vijay’s Beast, like any other of his films, garnered massive hype right from the day of its announcement. Adding to this, both Vijay and Nelson Dileepkumar are in great form and are quite confident of this movie’s success. Vijay was last seen in 2021 action-drama ‘Master’. Nelson Dileepkumar, on the other hand directed ‘Doctor’ one of the biggest Tamil hits of the last year.

After Beast, Vijay will move on to his next project ‘Thalapathy 66’ under Vamsi Paidipally’s direction.

Dil Raju thinks Acharya is not a Biggie or pan India movie?

The flurry of release date announcements made today have got the fans excited and charged up. The next 2 to 3 months are going to fun for sure and Dil Raju is going to become even busier in coming months. He is involved with RRR, Bheemla Nayak, Radhe Shyam as a distributor, and F3 as a producer.

Earlier today, speaking to the media about F3, the ace producer made certain statements that have now turned quite controversial. Raju said that he would be willing to postpone F3 if RRR is coming on the same date. The producers stated that a film of RRR’s scale needs that respect and co-operation. While this is a great decision from the producer, his decision to release F3 just one day before Acharya is now facing questions.

Chiranjeevi’s Acharya will release on 29th April while F3 will release on 28th April. This is making movie lovers wonder if Dil Raj doesn’t see Acharya as a biggie or a pan-India movie.

Interestingly, there is another backstory to this clash between F3 and Acharya. Dil Raju was involved with Koratala Siva’s Bharat Ane Nenu. The two had some issues during this movie. This is the reason, Koratala Siva offered the Nizam rights of Acharya to ‘Warangal Srinu’ instead of Dil Raju. It is to be noted that Warangal Srinu is Dil Raju’s prime rival in the Nizam area and has in past spoken openly against the senior producer/distributor.

While these films seem to have battled it out for a March or April release, Sarkaru Vaari Paata has calmly chosen a different path. Just like Mahesh in the image, the makers have calmly chosen a comfortable release date for Sarkaru Vaari Paata, with no competition as of yet.

The makers of Sarkaru Vaari Paata have announced an official release date of May 12th, 2022. It is the only biggie that has opted out of the March-April release as of now. From the looks of it, the makers are in no rush to release the film amongst the cluster of films.

It is yet to be seen how this decision is perceived by the fans of Superstar Mahesh Babu, who have been eagerly waiting to see their hero on the big screens once again.

The film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Vennela Kishore and Duy Beck among others. Parasuram Petla is the director of the movie. Mythri Movies have bankrolled the project. Thaman S is the music director of the film.

We are all aware of Ravi Teja’s Khiladi which is hitting the big screens on 11th February 2022. It is an action crime film, directed by Ramesh Varma, who has previously directed Rakshasudu. Khiladi stars Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan and Meenakshi Choudhary in lead roles. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the film.

Ravi Teja is presenting the Telugu version of Vishnu Vishal’s upcoming action thriller titled FIR. This is a bizarre decision on Ravi Teja’s part but it is also probably unavoidable due to the jam-packed releases in the upcoming months.

The team of FIR has deemed it necessary to release the film now due to the packed months of March and April. Many biggies like RRR, Acharya, Bheemla Nayak, and so on have announced their release dates.

FIR comprises a star cast of Gautham Vasudev Menon, Reba Monica John, and Parvathi in prominent roles. Manu Anand is the director of the film, who has coincidentally worked as an associate director under Gautham Vasudev Menon. Vishal has produced the film himself, along with Abhishek Nama Studios.

Recently there has been a lot of confusion regarding the release dates of the Tollywood biggies. After a lot of confusion and a lot of mix up, there is finally official news regarding the release date of Chiranjeevi’s Acharya.

Acharya is all set to release on April 29th, 2022 in theatres. The makers announced via a post that due to RRR hitting the screens on March 25th, Acharya will release on April 29th.

Acharya is a very exciting project that also stars Ram Charan, Kajal Agarwal, and Pooja Hegde in important roles. Koratala Siva is the director of the movie. The release date announcement by the RRR team has opened a pandora box of sorts in Tollywood. Pawan Kalyan’sBheemla Nayak, Chiranjeevi’s Acharya, Venkatesh’s F3, all have now announced new dates. All these films are announcing their new dates one after another and looking to gain the best possible advantage.

Chiranjeevi’s Acharya makers stated that because of a mutual understanding and after a healthy discussion, they have decided to go for April 29th release date. Acharya was initially supposed to release on April 1st.

Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak on the other hand has taken the bull by horns. The makers of this multistarrer have announced two release dates with one of them being April 1st, just one week away from the RRR release.

Just like RRR did earlier, Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak makers have also announced 2 release dates. They have retained the original date of 25th February. Along with it, they have also announced a new date of 1st April. This is just one week away from RRR has made the situation quite interesting.

This direct attack could be a way of showing displeasure over what happened earlier in December. Dil Raju convinced the Bheemla Nayak team to postpone their release to February 25th. Pawan Kalyan, Trivikram and producer Naga Vamsi were strongly against it. However, they had to reluctantly give up their slot and move to February.

Cut to January first week, both RRR and Radhe Shyam have been postponed and there is no biggie left for Sankranti. This would have been a golden opportunity for the Pawan Kalyan starrer to release and cash in on the festive season. However, due to Dil Raju, now they can’t even speed up the shooting and be ready for Sankranti.

Finally, the most awaited update is out! SS Rajamouli’s RRR will be hitting the screens worldwide on 25th March. The makers announced the same on social media much to fans and movie lovers’ excitement.

This SS Rajamouli magnum opus was supposed to hit the screens worldwide on January 7th. The trio of Rajamouli-NTR and Ram Charan even did nationwide promotions. However, the rising Covid cases foiled all these plans.

Now, the situation is easing up across the nation. Many states have reopened theatres with 50% occupancy. This situation will only get better in the coming days. Hence the RRR makers have decided that now is the time and are gearing up for a grand release.

The makers earlier this month had announced that they are looking at either 18th March or 28th April as the release dates. Much to everyone’s surprise, they have now gone for a third date.

SS Rajamouli’s RRR also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, and Olivia Morris in prominent roles. DVV Danayya is bankrolling this big-budget action entertainer.
