Exhibitors Waiting for Ravi Teja’s Rama Rao On Duty

After Vikram and Major, the theaters in Telugu state has went into a dull phase. Exhibitors are quite worried about this situation. A series of small hero movies hit big screens but all of them were unable to grab the attention of audience. Why would they? When there are so many other options that are available in the market. Movie producers are selling their movies to OTT for early release at better pricing.

This has made people to wait for some time to view the movie at their convenience in their home at fraction price. Apart from that, the plot lines of all these movies were bad and dull. All of this has stopped people from getting out of their house and visit theatres.

This has resulted in huge hassle for the distributors. Now to revive their business, they are waiting for Rama Rao on Duty. Rama Rao on Duty is a movie featuring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. The movie trailer was quite good and one will understand that it will tick all the commercial elements that one expect from it.

So, exhibitors and distributors are hoping that this movie will surely get traction and revive their businesses. Let us see how this movie is going to fare at the box office.

Ram is at Crores Loss Because of Over Confidence

Over confidence is never a good thing. As an actor, Ram has always been a good performer on screen. However, his story selection is not up to the mark. His recent film The Warriorr also comes under the same category. Ram was very good on screen as the protagonist in the movie.

However, the age old movie concept and theme was something that had huge impact. With the change in mindset of audience, they are not in a position to accept any movie that comes their way. Audiences are clear with what they want to see in theatre.

This is why the audience of both Telugu states didn’t show any interest in the movie. Ram had another failure at the box office but this time not just as the hero of movie. He brought the distribution rights of the movie for both Nizam and Vizag. The prebizz for these two locations is around 15 crores together.

The movie’s utter failure at the box office has resulted in a loss of around 6 crores for Ram. Ram was overly confident on the movie and took this step which has put him in a loss of six crores. This definitely would be a lesson for Ram as hero and distributor. Hope he bounces back soon with a good movie.

Dil Raju Fooled audience once again for Thank You after F3

Dil Raju is repeating the same pattern that he has used for F3 earlier. Ticket prices in Nizam has been a big hassle for the audience. It is one of the hurdles that is stopping audiences from visiting theatres. In a recent media interview, Dil Raju has stated that they are going to reduce the price for Thank You, the movie and make it available for audience of all sectors.

He claimed that the movie ticket prices would be 100/- in single screens and 175/- in multiplexes, excluding GST. As we see the bookings being opened in different locations, we have found that the pricing is as usual. In single screens, the pricing starts from 110 and in plexes its around 290/-. These were the regular prices of the movies in Telangana.

This is the second time that Dil Raju has pulled a stunt like this and cheated people. There are so many people who are taking it to Twitter and are raising their voice against these fake price promises. We have to wait and see whether Dil Raju will react on it or not.

Thank You, the movie is directed by Vikram K Kumar and Naga Chaitanya, Rashi Khanna are the lead actors in this movie. It is produced by Dil Raju.

Ram Pothineni:

I did not like my role in Sarileru Neekevvaru: Prakash Raj

Prakash Raj says that he is extremely disappointed with some of the roles that he did in his career. One such role he was discussing about is from Sarileru Neekevvaru. Prakash Raj is the main protagonist in this movie. He doned the character of Edhula Nagendra, a corrupted politician in the movie. Mahesh Babu changes him for good and makes him a better person in the movie.

According to Prakash Raj, this character isn’t something that he liked to work on. He is saying that there are times when you just have to perform in a movie without caring about your own opinion. This is one such situation. In his words, “the characters that we done are supposed to be interesting. We have to get more interest to work in those characters. I have always been against the regular characters that we see onscreen but there are certain situations where we can’t do or say anything. This movie and character was one of them. I am quite dissatisfied about Sarileru Neekevvaru.

Hopefully, this interview doesn’t stir into any controversy.

Now It’s NTR Time; NTR Fans Giving It Back To Mega Fans

Ever since the release of RRR in theatres, it has been one of the most talked about movies. Rajamouli’s multistarrer raked in a gorgeous amount at the box office and was also critically appreciated.

On one hand, the movie was being lauded for its excellence. But on the other hand, there were fan wars going on between Ram Charan and Jr.NTR fans. Even before the release, one fanbase tried to prove that their love for their star is bigger than the other.

NTR fans did this by flying an airplane banner in the USA, while Ram Charan fans played a video of the star in New York. This did not end after the release either.

NTR and his fans have been facing a lot of trolls on social media. Most people, mainly Charan fans, have been saying that Ram Charan is the main lead and NTR is a supporting actor. Even when the film was re-released in the USA, it was Ram Charan’s performance that caught most eyes.

But recently, the tide has turned. After the OTT release of RRR, many fans are saying that NTR’s performance was the highlight of the film. NTR is getting a lot of reach mainly among audiences of other languages for his interval bang scene.

Fans of NTR are now very happy with the appreciation for their star hero. They are now giving it back to Ram Charan fans. While healthy competition is always good, it is sad to see such bitter fan wars at a time when the industry is growing rapidly. However, it is a great sign that the actors are great friends and do not care about such silly fan wars.

Thalapathy Vijay Vs Samantha In Lokesh Kanagaraj Film?

Ever since the announcement of #Thalapathy67 with Lokesh Kanagaraj, fans have been eagerly waiting for more updates. Their first movie together, Master, was both commercially as well as critically acclaimed but missed the mark somewhere.

But with Vikram, Lokesh Kanagaraj has set the bar very high for himself. With the massive success of Vikram, fans are eager to see how Lokesh’s film with Vijay shapes up.

To add to this excitement, it is being reported that Samantha Ruth Prabhu will act as a villain in #Thalapathy67. There is a strong buzz that Samantha has chosen to play a villain character once again after her role as Raji in Family Man.

We have seen that Samantha is highly capable of pulling off a character with negative shades. Her role as Raji received national acclaim and also bagged her multiple awards. If this news turns out true, it will be very interesting to see the two actors face off against each other.

Priyanka Arul Mohan is also reportedly playing Vijay’s love interest in the movie. She has been on fire lately with back-to-back box office successes in the form of Doctor and Don.

Pushpa Part 3 Is Also On Cards Says Fahadh Faasil

When Sukumar first narrated the story of Pushpa to Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil, it was only a one-part movie. It was only later that Sukumar decided that one part is not sufficient to show the world of Pushpa.

In fact, it was after Fahadh’s brilliant police station scene in the second half that the movie became a two-part venture. Sukumar decided that there is a lot of scope to create a proper world of Pushpa. In addition to that, he also felt that a phenomenal actor like Fahadh deserved two parts.

Now, Sukumar seems to be extending the Pushpa universe to three parts. During a recent interaction with the media, Fahadh said this, “Recently when he talked to me, he said to be prepared for Pushpa 3. He has enough materials to do it.”

Even with mixed talk, Pushpa: The Rise posted splendid numbers at the box office. Now, with the excitement sky high, there is so much potential to make the Pushpa franchise the biggest franchise in Indian cinema.

Pushpa: The Rule is all set to go on floors in the month of August. The team is looking at a December release.
