Over confidence is never a good thing. As an actor, Ram has always been a good performer on screen. However, his story selection is not up to the mark. His recent film The Warriorr also comes under the same category. Ram was very good on screen as the protagonist in the movie.
However, the age old movie concept and theme was something that had huge impact. With the change in mindset of audience, they are not in a position to accept any movie that comes their way. Audiences are clear with what they want to see in theatre.
This is why the audience of both Telugu states didn’t show any interest in the movie. Ram had another failure at the box office but this time not just as the hero of movie. He brought the distribution rights of the movie for both Nizam and Vizag. The prebizz for these two locations is around 15 crores together.
The movie’s utter failure at the box office has resulted in a loss of around 6 crores for Ram. Ram was overly confident on the movie and took this step which has put him in a loss of six crores. This definitely would be a lesson for Ram as hero and distributor. Hope he bounces back soon with a good movie.
