When Sukumar first narrated the story of Pushpa to Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil, it was only a one-part movie. It was only later that Sukumar decided that one part is not sufficient to show the world of Pushpa.
In fact, it was after Fahadh’s brilliant police station scene in the second half that the movie became a two-part venture. Sukumar decided that there is a lot of scope to create a proper world of Pushpa. In addition to that, he also felt that a phenomenal actor like Fahadh deserved two parts.
Now, Sukumar seems to be extending the Pushpa universe to three parts. During a recent interaction with the media, Fahadh said this, “Recently when he talked to me, he said to be prepared for Pushpa 3. He has enough materials to do it.”
Even with mixed talk, Pushpa: The Rise posted splendid numbers at the box office. Now, with the excitement sky high, there is so much potential to make the Pushpa franchise the biggest franchise in Indian cinema.
Pushpa: The Rule is all set to go on floors in the month of August. The team is looking at a December release.
