Ever since the release of RRR in theatres, it has been one of the most talked about movies. Rajamouli’s multistarrer raked in a gorgeous amount at the box office and was also critically appreciated.
On one hand, the movie was being lauded for its excellence. But on the other hand, there were fan wars going on between Ram Charan and Jr.NTR fans. Even before the release, one fanbase tried to prove that their love for their star is bigger than the other.
NTR fans did this by flying an airplane banner in the USA, while Ram Charan fans played a video of the star in New York. This did not end after the release either.
NTR and his fans have been facing a lot of trolls on social media. Most people, mainly Charan fans, have been saying that Ram Charan is the main lead and NTR is a supporting actor. Even when the film was re-released in the USA, it was Ram Charan’s performance that caught most eyes.
But recently, the tide has turned. After the OTT release of RRR, many fans are saying that NTR’s performance was the highlight of the film. NTR is getting a lot of reach mainly among audiences of other languages for his interval bang scene.
Fans of NTR are now very happy with the appreciation for their star hero. They are now giving it back to Ram Charan fans. While healthy competition is always good, it is sad to see such bitter fan wars at a time when the industry is growing rapidly. However, it is a great sign that the actors are great friends and do not care about such silly fan wars.
