N.T. Rama Rao Jr.

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (born May 20, 1983), who is popularly and affectionately known to audiences as Jr. NTR. He is a highly celebrated Indian film actor working in Telugu Cinema. Furthermore, beyond his impressive acting skills, he is also an accomplished Kuchipudi dancer.

Early Beginnings as a Child Actor

Interestingly, Tarak officially made his Telugu film debut as a talented child actor. He first appeared on screen in Brahmarshi Viswamitra (1991). Subsequently, he starred in Bala Ramayanam (1996). Because of its remarkable quality, this particular film proudly won the prestigious National Film Award for Best Children’s Film in 1998.

Transitioning to Lead Roles and Stardom
