When anyone in a particular film industry scores a huge blockbuster on a Pan-Indian level, people from the respective film industry, as well as the audiences of that industry start saying that the success is just a lottery and that the next film will not do well at the box office.

Going by the pre-bookings of RRR in the non-Telugu languages, people quickly started saying that Rajamouli can never repeat the magic of Baahubali 2 and that the Baahubali franchise can never be topped. Alia Bhatt unhappy with RRR movie

Alia Bhatt who played the main female lead in RRR starring alongside Jr. NTR and Ram Charan is rumoured to be unhappy with the outcome of RRR. Alia Bhatt okayed the film considering the hype Rajamouli got with Bahubali series. She felt she might get mighty role from the role. But it seems she is disappointed.

The team has elevated Alia Bhatt to the next level about her peformance in RRR. But after watching the film, everyone can understand that there is very less screen space for Alia and even the screen space for Olivia Morris is more than Alia Bhatt. RRR starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan is on track towards the 1000 cr mark at the worldwide box office. The film already grossed 500 cr worldwide is way on track towards the 1000 cr mark. Well this will be the first film for both Jr. NTR and Ram Charan if that happens. Rajamouli already tasted this with his Bahubali series. RRR is holding good in all the languages. In Telugu it is on par with the day 1 revenue.

Catherine roped in Megastar Chiranjeevi- Bobby film

Catherine Tresa has been roped in for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film with Bobby. Tentatively titled Chiru 154, this film will star Shruti Haasan in lead opposite the Megastar. It is being reported that Catherine, will be paired opposite Ravi Teja who will be playing a key role in this project. She was last seen in Telugu in Vijay Deverakonda’s World Famous Lover.

Ravi Teja earlier acted alongside Megastar Chiranjeevi in the 2000 film Annayya and had a small cameo in Shankar Dada Zindabad. Meanwhile, this will be the first time Catherine will be featuring in a Chiranjeevi film.

A special poster of the Bobby-Megastar project was released last year. The ‘Mass Maharaja’ earlier collaborated with Bobby on the latter’s directorial debut ‘Power’. Both Ravi Teja and Chiranjeevi are currently awaiting the release of their upcoming projects ‘Khiladi’ and ‘Acharya’.

Chiranjeevi will be playing an out-and-out mass character in this film and Ravi Teja reportedly will be playing a key 40-minute long role in the project. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music while Arthur A Wilson is handling the cinematography. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this prestigious project.

The team kicked off the new shooting schedule today with an action-packed scene between Chiranjeevi and the fighters.

Dulquer Salmaan and Kajal Agarwal’s recently released romantic comedy Hey Sinamika is now gearing up for its OTT release. The film failed to attract audience to the theatres and was a massive failure at the box office. The romantic comedy also starred Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead role and follows the story of a couple who fall in love and get married only to find their relationship in conflict.

The film will premiere on Jio Cinema as well as Netflix on March 31st. Hey Sinamika will release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada on OTT.

Choreographer Brinda Gopal has directed this film while Madhan Karky has written it. The film is produced by Jio Studios and Global One Studios, with Govinda Vasantha composing the tunes.

Dulquer Salmaan has already had two releases this year with mystery thriller ‘Salute’ being the other one. Both these films failed to achieve success as the Mollywood star hoped for. He will be next seen in Hanu Raghavapudi’s untiltled film as Lieutenant Ram.

The latest update about online tickets in Andhra Pradesh

Earlier last year the Andhra Pradesh government announced that it will be getting its own movie online tickets booking portal soon. The decision was announced through a G.O released by the Home Department of the government. The ticketing portal will be managed by AP State Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation.

The online ticket portal is now shaping up and is in the final stages of its tender. From April 1st AP will have a government-backed online ticket portal facility. The government is planning to create a system where the charges will be lesser than private ticketing portals.

As per reports, Just Tickets has emerged as the L1 during this tender process. The government is planning to bring all the theatres under this new portal and regulate ticket sales. A committee has been established to develop a blueprint and implementation mechanism for this new system. It needs to be seen what happens the new ticket prices will be with the announcement of this new ticketing portal.
