Surpassing all expectations, Nikhil’s Karthikeya 2 is crossing one milestone after another. The film has been a massive success not just in Telugu states but also in the Hindi market. Karthikeya 2 started with limited screens on day one in the Hindi market. But with excellent word of mouth, the number of screens increased all over.
The first week was a terrific one of the action-adventure film collected Rs 5.75 crores. The first weekend saw a massive Rs 9.57 crores collected and the Day 9 was the biggest in the movie’s run and brought in an astounding Rs 4.07 crores.
The collections have been on an upward swing and the second weekend saw double the collections of week one. This is an extremely rare feat. A sequel to the 2014 film, Nikhil’s Karthikeya 2 also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Srinivas Reddy, and Anupam Kher in key roles.
Nikhil’s performance, Chandoo Mondeti’s gripping narration, and Kaala Bhairava’s terrific BGM were the main highlights of the film.
