Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan have had one of the most significant careers in Tollywood and Bollywood respectively. They have single-handedly been responsible for some of the most iconic films in the history of Indian cinema.
The two veteran actors are also very similar in more than one way. Both Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan have done their fair share of commercial potboilers but have also done content-oriented/ hard-hitting films as well.
Salman Khan has done movies like the Dabanng franchise, Ek Tha Tiger as well as the softer rom-coms such as Hum Saath Saath Hain. Chiranjeevi has also done a plethora of commercial movies such as Indra, Stalin, and Tagore but has also done Chantabbai, Shankar Dada MBBS, and so on.
The two have always shared great camaraderie with each other but have never done a film together. They are finally appearing in the same frame now with Mohan Raja’s Godfather.
Salman Khan and Chiranjeevi will also be sharing leg space with each other in a groovy dance number. Thaman composed the music for the song and what is even more exciting is that Prabhu Deva choreographed the dance moves. We all know how good Prabhu Deva is and if everything goes to plan, we might see vintage Chiru on the big screen. The shooting of the song started today.
