Screen space and runtime of Ram Charan role in Acharya

The screen space and runtime of Ram Charan’s role in acharya is fixed as per sources. The total screen space and runtime for Ram Charan is 40 minutes in the film. The combination scenes of Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi would be 20-25 minutes in this 40 minutes runtime it seems. Pooja Hegde will also be seen alongside Ram Charan. Their duet song has also been released on YouTube.

Acharya is Koratala Siva’s fourth directorial film. Acharya is about to release but Pandemic Covid has interrupted the release plan. The film is since under the wraps. Now it is almost decided to release the film on Arpil 29. The shoot for the film is also completed. Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan are doing their other projects. The post-production work of Acharya is still going on. Koratala Shiva too is in talks with NTR for his next film.

The role that Ram Charan was doing was initially offered to Mahesh Babu but he opted out of the project. Ram Charan was then roped in and the film was made as a multi-starrer. Trailer for the film is yet to release. The film only has a month time to release. Promotional activities are also not yet started.

Sharwanand’s recent family entertainer Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu will soon be making its OTT premiere. The film will release on Sony Liv and will be in front of the audience from 2nd April. The film co-starred Rashmika Mandann and had a great support cast in form of Radhika, Urvashi, Khushboo among others.

Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu released to mixed reviews and slowly turned into a box office dud with even families not showing any interest in this family entertainer. Sharwanand’s last two films Mahasamudram and Sreekaram failed to bring success and he had pinned all hopes on Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu. However, the movie ended up being another unsuccessful venture in Sharwanand’s filmography.

Kishore Tirumala directed this film while Sudhakar Cherukuri bankrolled the project. The success of Kishore’s last few films like Red, Chitralahari, and Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi created great positive buzz for this project. Devi Sri Prasad’s compositions and Rashmika’s presence also added great positivity to the film which eventually failed due to its weak plot and lack of emotional connect.

This family entertainer will be available on Sony Liv in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi from 2nd April.

JGM is a Mission says Puri, shares other details about the film

Puri Jagannadh’s much-awaited dream project Jana Gana Mana was launched in a grand fashion in Mumbai yesterday. The film has been one of the most ambitious projects for the mass director and he has waited more than a decade for it.

After multiple delays and failed combinations, Puri has finally decided to take it ahead with Vijay Deverakonda. Speaking about the movie, the director said that “Jana Gana Mana” is a mission that will be led by Vijay.” He also added that Vijay will play a soldier in the film and the plot deals with patriotism and war.

The motion poster and title reveal were done yesterday in Mumbai with Vijay making a grand entry. Further cast and crew details will be revealed soon.

The regular shoot of the movie will start next month and Jana Gana Mana will be made on a grand scale. It is a pan India project and will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Puri will also produce the film along with Charmee and Vamshi Paidipally.

RRR joins $10M club at USA, 5th Indian film to achieve so

RRR is continuing its victory run overseas and is reigning supreme at the box -office. Even before its release, the early trends and pre-sales indicated a massive blockbuster weekend for the film in the US market. It would be safe to say that the movie has stood to expectations and will even exceed them in the coming days.

The multistarrer action drama has now collected $10 million at the US Box office. By achieving this mark, it has become only the fifth Indian film to do so. The other films in this exclusive $10 million club are:

Baahubali 2 – $20.57 million

Dangal – $12.39 million

Padmaavat – $12.16 million

PK – $10.61 million

RRR- $10 million **

Out of this list, Baahubali 2 and RRR are the only 2 non -Bollywood movies, and both are by SS Rajamouli. It will be pretty interesting to see what figure RRR reaches up to in the coming days. The film has already grossed Rs 500 crores worldwide and is now on its way to the Rs 1000 crores mark. Anushka in talks for Prabhas upcoming film?

Prabhas- Anushka on-screen pair one of Tollywood’s most loved and successful ones. The couple has a great track record as well as chemistry. Raj Tarun’s Stand Up Rahul OTT release date locked

Raj Tarun’s recently released romantic comedy Stand Up Rahul is now all set to make its way to the small screens. The film will make its OTT premiere on Aha on 8th April. Stand Up Rahul is the coming of age story of a standup comedian played by Raj Tarun and it co-stars Varsha Bollamma.

The film released on 18th March and ended up being a massive box-office failure. It ended up a huge disaster and has failed to recover the rents from opening day itself. Debutant Santo has directed this film while Nandkumar Abbineni and Bharath Maguluri have bankrolled this project.

Like many other films released in the recent past, Stand Up Rahul also saw multiple delays. The lackluster promotions and cold response to the trailer and teaser didn’t help as well. This led to disastrous openings and subsequent run during the first weekend. Stand Up Rahul also stars Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, and Indraja in key roles.

With this film also failing to impress the audience, the young actor is in desperate need of a career revival.

Puri Jagannadh’s dream project locked and loaded

Despite delivering some massive hits and working will all the top stars of Tollywood, there was something that ace director Puri Jagannadh always wanted. And that long term desire is now on its path to being materialized. Jana Gana Mana- or as the poster says JGM is now all set to go on floors soon. This dream project of Puri’s will star Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role.

This film was supposed to be made with Mahesh Babu and later Pawan Kalyan was rumored to be on board. There was a massive buzz for this movie some years back.

The movie’s hype further went multiple folds after Puri Jagannadh in 2016 tweeted a dialogue from the movie. “Strength lies in attack and not in defense,” was the Tweet which gave all a hint of the mass elements that would be packed in the film.

Sadly, the film also didn’t materialize and only a tweet was left of it. This project is going to be a pan- India project as well and will see Vijay Deverakonda and Puri’s collaboration yet again.

However, after a long time, the project is now on track and will hit the screens on 3rd August 2023. The film was launched in a grand fashion in Mumbai today. Vijay Deverakonda will play an army officer in this film and he was visibly ecstatic at the event. The title announcement along with the motion poster has given a massive high to the ‘Rowdy’ and Puri fans.

Puri will also be producing the movie along with Charme and Vamshi Paidipally. The film will go on floors next month and further cast and crew details will be revealed soon.
