With just a day left for the release of Vijay Deverakonda’s much anticipated Pan-Indian project Liger, the advance bookings are highly promising. The bookings are not only phenomenal in the two Telugu states but also in the North belt as well.
Over the last few months, Vijay Deverakonda and the team of Liger have been the subject of trolls and meme pages. There has been heavy trolling on the budget of Liger, the pre-release business of the film, and so on.
Just recently as well, Vijay openly stated that he would only start counting the box office numbers after the 200-crore mark. While some saw this as a sign of confidence, some were trolling Vijay, calling him “arrogant” and “overconfident”.
But now, looking at the advance bookings of Liger, especially the Hindi version, it just proves the social media trollers wrong. The bookings are beyond everyone’s expectations and yet again are proof of Vijay’s stardom and craze.
It looks like this wild combination of Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda has worked out really well. The film also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ananya Pandey, and Mike Tyson in a cameo appearances. Karan Johar has produced the film under the Dharma Productions banner.
