Krithi Shetty on a signing spree, signs another film

Krithi Shetty has been signing back-to-back projects ever since her debut film Uppena became a major box-office success. The actress was considered as the find of the season for Tollywood and has been one of the most sought-after actresses of late.

Ever since the massive success of Uppena, Kirthi along with Vaishnav Tej have been flooded with offers. While Vaishnav Tej has done just 2 movies- Kondapolam and Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga, the actress was seen in 5 films in just last year and half.

She was seen with Nani in Shaym Singha Roy and opposite Sudheer Babu in Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali. While she has been approached for many other movies such as Abhiram Daggubati’s debut film Ahimsa, she has not been able to get on board due to date issues.

She has been extremely busy of late and the young actress also starred opposite Nithiin in Macherla Niyojakavargam, Ram in The Warrior, and Naga Chaitanya starter ‘Bangaru Raju’. Now she has added one more project to her lineup. She has been signed up for a lead role opposite Sharwanand in Sriram Aditya’s upcoming movie.

While Krithi has been singing back-to-back projects, her success rate has been quite poor, and barring Uppena, all her movies have failed to gain box-office success as expected.

A very interesting combination is on cards. Megapower star Ram Charan is going to work with one film old Buchi Babu. The director has made a successful debut with Uppena. He has been waiting for NTR’s approval but having waited for so long for him, he only got disappointment.

However, he got a good opportunity in the mega camp and sources say that the movie will be made from the same script Buchi has narrated to NTR.

The movie is touted to be a sports genre movie with a lot of rustic action rooted in rural Andhra culture. Mega fans are already excited that it could be a good follow-up movie for Charan after Shankar’s movie.

Rangasthalam which is the most memorable in Charan’s career also had Buchi Babu’s contribution in it. It is being said that the maverick director Sukumar has also given inputs to the script of this Charan – Buchibabu movie. The film is likely to start rolling early next year.

Buchi Babu excelled in balancing emotions, romance in his first movie. He tried to bring realistic performances from actors with great use of visuals and music.

We hope this young director delivers yet another blockbuster and cement his position as star director in tollywood. As pan India movies are becoming hits because of the regional flavor, this movie might offer plenty of such elements.

Meanwhile, it is known that Ram Charan has been working on his next with director Shankar, named RC15 for now. The shoot for this movie has been moving ahead at a brisk pace. Recently, Ram Charan was clicked by the paparazzi at the Hyderabad airport as he was boarding a flight to New Zealand.

According to the reports, the team will shoot a song featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in New Zealand during the latest schedule.

Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Bollywood beauty Kiara Advani has been roped in as the leading lady opposite Ram Charan. In addition to this, actor SJ Suryah will also play a significant role in the film, along with Anjali, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, and Naveen Chandra in secondary roles.

The story of RC15 has been provided by director Karthik Subbaraju, while Tirru is looking after the camera work for the film. S Thaman is composing the songs and background score for the movie.

Gaalodu has already recovered 80% of the theatrical rights, valued at 2.5 crores. It looks like Sudheer has set himself a strong market for mass audiences. His upcoming films must also perform in a similar way for him to cement his place as a lead hero.

Sudha Kongara, the national award-winning director who has directed a biopic called Soorarai Potru (Aakashame Nee Haddura) is now planning to make another biopic on the life of a successful industrialist Ratan Tata. Suriya Or Abhishek Bachan might be playing the role of Tata in the movie.

Suriya and Sudha have collaborated for Soorai Potru and the actor trusts the director a lot. Their association brought a much needed acclaim for Suriya and also fetched him a national award for his marvelous performance.

The character of an aspiring entrepreneur chasing his dream despite all odds was the unique selling point of Soorarai Potru. It was based on the life of GR Gopinath. The life of Ratan Tata would be equally interesting to explore, as he faced a lot of challenges to emerge as a leading businessman.

Sudha’s movies often make way in various language across North and South. Hence, Abhishek Bachan is also being considered for the movie to appeal to the North audience.

Kantara is a true pan India blockbuster. It has emerged as one of the most profitable and highest grossing movies of Sandalwood. Its reception has largely been universal. Furthermore, it has now reached the 400 crores benchmark in a phase where Bollywood movies of top stars are failing to reach 100 crores mark.

No one even in their dreams would have thought that a small Kannada made with a budget around 10-15 Crores would become such a massive blockbuster. Kantara was released on September 30, after the excellent response poured all over the world it got dubbed and released in other language such as Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.

This Kannada mystical thriller has collected around 200 crores in its homeland, in Hindi belt it Crossed 100 crores with the dubbed version. Telugu version has collected more than 66 crores as of now and running well in few centers. Even the movie got good collections in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, garnering around 35 crores gross. Hence, it is a wholesome entertainer which cuts across the languages.

Rishab shetty acted, written and directed this movie, Saptami Gowda played the lead actress in the movie. It is a rooted story based in Karnataka’s folk art Panjurli and the community that performs this art.

At the heart of the movie is a land issue that a vulnerable community tries to protect against a feudal Lord, played by very effective Achyuth Kumar. Kishore Kumar played as a fierce police officer who is arrogant in the beginning and has a decent character arc.

The movie proved that content alone is the king, not the stardom Or grandeur. The movie’s technicalities are fantastic, though it was made with a shoestring budget.

ఇంతవరకూ ఆయన తెరకెక్కించిన సినిమా ఎప్పుడూ పరాజయం చెందలేదు. అవతార్ 2 కూడా భారీ స్థాయిలో కలెక్షన్లు కొల్లగొట్టేస్తుందని ప్రజలు చాలా నమ్మకంగా ఉన్నారు. అయితే కామెరూన్ విశ్వసనీయతను దోపిడీ చేస్తూ టికెట్ ధరలు ఆకాశాన్నంటుతున్నాయి. దీని వల్ల సినిమాకి ఎదురుదెబ్బ తగిలే ప్రమాదం కూడా ఉంది.

అవతార్ 2 మొదటి ట్రైలర్ ప్రేక్షకులను ఊహించిన విధంగా ఆకట్టుకోలేక పోయింది. అయితే ఈరోజు విడుదలైన రెండో ట్రైలర్‌కు మాత్రం మంచి స్పందన వచ్చింది. మరి ఈ సినిమా ఎలాంటి ప్రశంసలు అందుకుంటుందో.. బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద ఎన్ని రికార్డులు సాధిస్తుందో చూడాలి.
