The success of Gaalodu has been a major boost for Sudheer. With this film, Sudheer has proven that he is capable of pulling the audience to theatres. The movie received mixed reviews but Sudheer’s popularity ensured that people flocked to the theatres. The movie performed especially well on weekends where it collected more than Samantha’s Yashoda.
Coming to Sudheer’s film career, the audience are waiting for his combo on screen with Rashmi. Director Sudhakar Reddy made an interesting revelation regarding this matter. He said that for both Software Sudheer and Gaalodu, Rashmi Gautam was the first choice for the main lead heroine.
Unfortunately, her dates didn’t work out for both movies. “I am planning a film with their combo soon and the film is titled ‘Gajjela Gurram’, said the director. Software Sudheer featured Dhanya Balakrishnan in lead while Gaalodu starred Gehna Sippy opposite Sudheer.
Gaalodu has already recovered 80% of the theatrical rights, valued at 2.5 crores. It looks like Sudheer has set himself a strong market for mass audiences. His upcoming films must also perform in a similar way for him to cement his place as a lead hero.
