Krithi Shetty has perhaps had one of the best debuts in the history of Telugu cinema. Her debut film Upenna became a raging hit at the box office and her performance was also widely appreciated. Many actors crave such success early on in their careers and Krithi Shetty was in huge demand after Uppena.
Following Uppena, Krithi Shetty was seen in Shyam Singha Roy and then in Bangarraju, both of which became hits. Owing to this, Krithi earned herself the name of the golden hand of Telugu cinema.
But off-late, the golden hand seems to have lost its shine. Krithi Shetty is currently in a bad phase with back-to-back disasters at the box office. She has had no luck recently and has been a part of three disasters in quick succession.
Ram Pothineni’s The Warrior failed miserably at the box office and crashed on the opening weekend itself. Nithin’s Macherla Niyojakavargam crashed on the second day and the most recent of them all, Aa Ammayi Gurunchi Meeku Cheppali crashed on the opening day. Krithi has all the potential to become the next big thing in Telugu cinema but she will have to choose her script wisely.
