Superstar Krishna’s all-time blockbuster to re-release with never before technology

The club of star’s re-releases has got a new entry. Superstar Krishna’s 1986 blockbuster Simhasanam will now be re-released for his birthday next year. What’s special is that the film will release with a never-before technology i.e. 8k version. As per sources, the process of restoration to 8K has already started and the film will be released in Dolby sound.

Incidentally, Simhasaanam was Superstar Krishna’s debut directorial project and he also wrote, edited and produced it. The fantasy action film was the first 70 mm 4 track Stereophonic sound movie in Telugu cinema.

Simhasanam also starred Jaya Prada, Radha, and Mandakini and was simultaneously released in Hindi in 1986.

This trend of screening fan favourites is indeed a great one and is surely giving an experience that many fans who missed watching these films during their initial screenings.

After Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri and Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Gharana Mogudu and Pawan Kalyan’s Jalsa were screened in a grand manner for the star’s birthdays. There are also plans of re-releasing Prabhas’ Billa and Chatrapati for his birthday.

At one point in time, Puri Jagannadh was one of the most popular directors as well as the most sought-after directors in the Telugu Film Industry. He is responsible for some of the most iconic films in Tollywood like Pokiri, Temper, Idiot, and so on.

He has also made a decent name for himself in Bollywood as well. Pokiri was remade as wanted in Hindi with Salman Khan and it became one of the biggest hits of Bollywood at the time. Puri also made a Hindi film with Amitabh titled Buddha Hoga Tera Baap, which became a hit. Akkineni Nagarjuna Remuneration For Bigg Boss 6th Season

One of the most popular and loved Telugu reality TV shows Bigg Boss Telugu is back once again. Season 6 of Bigg Boss will start premiering from today on Star Maa as well as a 24/7 live broadcast on the Disney+Hotstar OTT platform.

For the fourth consecutive season, Nagarjuna will be at the helm of affairs once again. Nagarjuna is back hosting for season 6 of Bigg Boss. The actor has also increased his remuneration from previous seasons, charging a whopping 55 Lakhs per episode of the show.

During the previous season, he charged about 40 Lakhs per episode but this season, he has hiked his charges for hosting the show. There are a total of 30 episodes in the season which means that Nagarjuna will be walking away with 16.5 crores in total.

SSMB28 Is finally going to sets with Action schedule

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s much-awaited SSMB28 has finally got a release date. The film will release on 28th April 2023. The makers announced this massive update on social media a while ago and needless to say the news has got social media buzzing in excitement.

SSMB28 will start its regular shoot on the 8th of September. Superstar Mahesh Babu will join the shoot from 13th and some action sequences will be shot during this schedule.

Pooja Hegde will be paired opposite Mahesh Babu while the rest of the cast details will be revealed soon. Of late, the ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramulo’ director has been mainly focussing on family entertainers. However, Mahesh has made it clear that the genre, as well as the treatment of the subject, must be different. Reportedly, the Super Star is not interested in a run-of-the-mill family entertainer.

SSMB 28 will mark a comeback of this iconic director-actor combo after 12 long years.  This will be the third film for Mahesh Babu and Trivikram after Athadu and Khaleja. The film makers, Haarika and Haasine Creations announced this project last year much to the delight of fans. SS Thaman will compose the music for this film while Navin Nooli will handle the editing duties.

A year ago, it was announced that Pawan Kalyan will be working with Surender Reddy on a project. This got many fans excited as the combo of Surender Reddy and Pawan Kalyan was a fresh combination. But slowly, news of this project died down and the project was put on hold. Many industry members also stated that the project has been shelved due to creative differences between Surender Reddy and Pawan Kalyan.

But recently, the producer of the film, Ram Talluri, seems to have given clarity on this movie. He said that this project will happen for sure and that it has not been called off. He stated that it was temporarily put on hold due to Pawan Kalyan’s busy schedule.

Ram also stated that currently, Surender Reddy is busy with his next film with Akhil titled Agent. After he is done with Agent, Surender Reddy will shift his attention to the project with Pawan Kalyan.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan also has multiple films signed up before his film with Surender Reddy. He will be awaiting the release of his Pan-Indian film with Krish, Hari Hara Veera Mallu. He has also signed a film with Gabbar Singh director Harish Shankar titled Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh. Pawan Kalyan will also start his work for the elections meaning his schedule will be very tight.

Karthikeya 2 has now hit the $1.5 million mark at the US box office making Nikhil the latest entrant into this elite club.

$1 Million is indeed a benchmark for small films. It was a dream for small films to achieve million dollars at the US box office. Sensational blockbuster Karthikeya 2 crossed the $1 Million mark a while ago and now has crossed 1.5 Million with Saturday. The 3$ offer has worked very well for the movie and brought record footfalls of more than 30K.

The collections have been on an upward swing and right the collections have been surpassing the previous weekends. All hopes on Brahmastra to revive the Bollywood market

Bollywood is going through a rough time at the moment and all hopes are now pinned on Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra which is slated to release on 9th September. This year has been a great one for Tollywood with several blockbusters like RRR, Sita Ramam, Karthikeya 2 and DJ Tillu among many others.

Similarly, Kollywood also made a great comeback with Vikram, Don and Thiruchitrambalam. Kannada and Malayalam industries also had their share of successful films and it is only Bollywood that didn’t score any massive blockbusters.

Interestingly, the movies of smaller stars like Varun Dhawan( Jug Jug Jiyo) and Kartik Aryan (Bhool Bhulaiyya 2) made superb numbers at the box office. However, superstar movies like Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan failed massively.

Each and every industry is shining now but Bollywood is still struggling to revive itself even with their superstar films. Now their hopes are all pinned on Brahmastra. The movie’s bookings have opened and its going very strong. Trade circles are hoping the momentum to go on.

Brahmastra pre-release event canceled to target NTR?

Brahmastra pre-release event that was planned in a grand manner yesterday. However, it was moved to an indoor location due to security reasons. While the indoor event was a great success, various speculations are now emerging about the real reason behind the cancellation.

It is being speculated that the massive Brahmastra pre-release event was denied all the permissions due to NTR’s presence as a chief guest. The event that was initially given a go-ahead was later canceled due to pressure from Telangana government. The Government is now opposing NTR because of his recent meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Telangana has become a battleground for war of words between TRS and BJP. BJP is looking to make inroads in the state and while NTR’s meeting with Amit Shah was a casual meet and greet, it is given a political range.

Jr NTR, who was the special guest of the evening, also tried to pacify fans, “I would like to apologise to all my fans and the national media who were very excited about the event.” Along with NTR, director SS Rajamouli and Brahmastra lead pair Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt along with producer Karan Johar were also present at the event.

బాలీవుడ్ పాన్ ఇండియా మూవీ ”బ్రహ్మాస్త్ర” ప్రీ రిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్ ను ఈ శుక్రవారం హైదరాబాద్ లో గ్రాండ్ గా చేయాలని ప్లాన్ చేసిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. రామోజీ ఫిల్మ్ సిటీలో జరగనున్న ఈ వేడుకకు యంగ్ టైగర్ ఎన్టీఆర్ చీఫ్ గెస్టుగా వస్తారని చిత్ర బృందం కొన్ని రోజుల క్రితం ప్రకటించారు. అయితే చివరి నిమిషంలో ఈ ప్రీ రిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్ ను క్యాన్సిల్ చేశారు. ఈ మేరకు చిత్ర బృందం అధికారిక ప్రెస్ నోట్ రిలీజ్ చేశారు.

అయితే ‘బ్రహ్మాస్త్ర’ ప్రీ రిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్ ను రద్దు చేసినప్పటికీ .. పార్క్ హయత్ హోటల్ లో ప్రెస్ మీట్ నిర్వహించి అదే మీడియా కార్యక్రమానికి జూనియర్ ఎన్టీఆర్ అతిథిగా హాజరయ్యారు. ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ మరియు ప్రింట్ మీడియాతో పాటు పరిమిత సంఖ్యలో ప్రేక్షకులను కూడా అనుమతించిన ఈ ఈవెంట్ లో ఎన్టీఆర్ తనదైన శైలిలో ప్రసంగించి ఆకట్టుకున్నారు.

కాగా బాలీవుడ్ డైరెక్టర్ అయాన్ ముఖర్జీ తెరకెక్కించిన ‘బ్రహ్మాస్త్ర’ సినిమాలో రణ్ బీర్ కపూర్ – ఆలియా భట్ – అమితాబ్ బచ్చన్ – కింగ్ అక్కినేని నాగార్జున ప్రధాన పాత్రలు పోషించారు. స్టార్ స్టూడియోస్ – ధర్మ ప్రొడక్షన్స్ – ప్రైమ్ ఫోకస్ మరియు స్టార్ లైట్ పిక్చర్స్ సంస్థలు కలిసి భారీ బడ్జెట్ తో ఈ సోసియో ఫాంటసీ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించారు.
