Baba is one of the most important movies in Superstar Rajinikanth’s life, though it was a massive flop. The movie was written by Rajinikanth, and it’s his brain child, as he tried to tell his philosophy about life in the movie.

The movie is now getting re released for Thalaiva’s birthday on December 12th. Fans are excited to watch Rajini in Baba and experience this spiritual movie in theaters. The current generation who had missed it in the theaters would find an opportunity to see it again.

The film was directed by Suresh Krishna who delivered massive blockbusters like Basha, Annamalai etc. Baba created gigantic buzz before the release as it was the movie done by Rajinikanth after taking a long break. Many were doubtful whether Rajinikanth would do movies again. In that context, the movie came with huge expectations.

The movie doesn’t have mass masala elements but certainly has few whistle worthy moments with Philosophical Dialogues mixed with heroism as well. Finally Bollywood has found a sureshot hit film with Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2. We all know that after the corona pandemic, the Hindi industry didn’t had a good time with films if Star Heroes not able to get good openings or response at the box office.

The film had opened with 15.38 crores net on Friday and collected 21.59 crores net on Saturday. Sharing the Sunday collections of the film, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter on Monday, “#Drishyam2 ends *Weekend 1* with a big bang… Creates havoc on Day 3… Reboots and revives biz… Brings joy, hope, confidence, optimism back… Targets ₹ 100 cr in *Week 1*… This one’s a SMASH-HIT… Fri 15.38 cr, Sat 21.59 cr, Sun 27.17 cr. After excellent 1st weekend, The film maintained terrific hold on Monday. The early estimates are more than 12Cr range which is very huge . For 4 days worldwide gross of Drishyam 2 will be around 110 Crores and the film is heading towards Huge Blockbuster.

There was a strong feeling in all the movie industries that remakes are not feasible in the New OTT era. But Drishyam 2 movie broke the myth of remakes will not perform at box office.The film is performing the way which no one expected.

While some people are still saying that all remakes won’t work, because Drishyam 2 has already made its first part in Hindi. The second part of Drishyam was released in Malayalam and Telugu versions in OTT, there was no Hindi version available so most of the audience didn’t watched the original version of Drishyam 2. That can be considered as one of the biggest reason for the movie’s success.

Anyways, putting all the arguments and discussions aside, Drishyam 2 movie numbers are making entire Bollywood trade happy. They are hoping that the good trend will continue with the next release of Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya which has a unique plotline being a first Indian creature comedy.

It revolves around how Vijay Salgaunkar ‘s family copes with the reopening of a murder case which refuses to stop haunting them. In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Ram Charan was asked several questions, but one question had caught everyone’s attention. The host of the interview complained Charan regarding remakes losing a section of audience. Mega Power star’s response is the hot topic now.

Charan accepted that remakes in OTT era definitely will face issues. According to him, audiences who already watched the movie may not be interested to watch the movie coming to theaters. However, in his defense he added that Superstars doing remakes might bring audiences to theaters.

Mega family is known for doing remakes. Chiranjeevi has done two remakes in last four movies. Pawan Kalyan is rarely doing original script. In this scenario, Charan responding to a question on remakes is interesting. In fact, he was the one who suggested Lucifer remake to Chiranjeevi.

Fans are also against remakes, and they are attributing fewer openings to remakes. Godfather hasn’t garnered star hero level openings due to poor buzz. Lucifer was watched by lot of Telugu youth on OTT, so as Pink Or Ayyapanum Koshiyum.

Remakes are an outdated concept, when there is a chance for watching original with subtitles. Most of the time, the essence of the original is lost in the remake. Chiranjeevi defended these arguments by saying that remakes can be better than original and are more risky.

Still, when the original is freely available what is the point of watching a remake? These questions have to be deeply thought about when fans are against the idea of mega heroes doing remakes.

టాలీవుడ్ లో లేటెస్ట్ సెన్సేషన్ గా మసూదా చిన్న సినిమా నిలుస్తుంది. ఈ హారర్ మూవీకి విమర్శకులతో పాటు ప్రేక్షకులు కూడా ఫిదా అవుతున్నారు. ఈ చిత్రం అద్భుతమైన సమీక్షలను అందుకోవడంతోపాటు బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద కూడా మంచి వసూళ్లను సాధించింది. మొదటి మూడు రోజుల వసూళ్లు అద్భుతంగా ఉన్నాయి మరియు బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద వసూళ్లు రోజురోజుకూ పెరుగుతున్నాయి.

ఈ చిత్రం నిజానికి తక్కువ స్క్రీన్‌లతో బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద సాధారణ ఓపెనింగ్స్ తో ప్రారంభమైంది. అయితే పాజిటివ్ టాక్ కారణంగా సినిమా మొదటి రోజు కంటే రెండవ రోజు.. రెండవ రోజు కంటే మూడవ రోజు ఎక్కువ కలెక్షన్లతో ట్రెండ్ అయింది. మూడవ రోజు ఈ చిత్రం మొదటి రోజు కలెక్షన్ల కంటే మూడు రెట్లు ఎక్కువ వసూలు చేసింది. హైదరాబాద్ నగరం మసూదాకు అతిపెద్ద ఆదాయ ప్రాంతంగా నిలిచింది. నైజాంలో ఈ చిత్రం మొదటి వారాంతంలో దాదాపు 1.3 కోట్ల గ్రాస్‌ను వసూలు చేసింది. ఇక ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్‌లో ఈ చిత్రం 1 కోటి రూపాయల గ్రాస్‌ను వసూలు చేసింది.

ఒకప్పటి హీరోయిన్ సంగీత తన యుక్తవయస్సులో ఉన్న కుమార్తెను దుష్టశక్తుల నుండి రక్షించే లక్ష్యంతో తల్లి పాత్రను ఈ చిత్రంలో పోషించారు. ఆమె నటిగా ఎప్పుడూ మంచి ఇమేజ్‌ని కలిగి ఉండగా.. ఈ పాత్రలో ఆమె అద్భుతమైన నటనతో మరోసారి తన సామర్థ్యాన్ని చూపించారు.

ఇక వర్ధమాన నటుడు తిరువీర్ కూడా తన సహజమైన నటనతో మెప్పించారు, బాంధవి శ్రీధర్ దెయ్యం చేత భాదింపబడే అమ్మాయి పాత్రలో మెప్పించారు. అలాగే ముఖ్య పాత్రల్లో సీనీయర్ నటుడు శుభలేఖ సుధాకర్, సత్యం రాజేష్ సినిమాకి మరో బలంగా నిలిచారు.

సెకండాఫ్‌లో ప్రేక్షకులను అయోమయంలో ఉంచే ఆసక్తికరమైన స్క్రీన్‌ప్లేను డీల్ చేయడంలో తొలి దర్శకుడు సాయి కిరణ్ అద్భుతంగా పని చేశారు. కొన్ని సంవత్సరాల నుండి హార్రర్ శైలిని కామెడీతో మిళితం చేసి చాలా సినిమాలు వచ్చాయి. అయితే ఈ నూతన దర్శకుడు చాలా కాలం తర్వాత నిజమైన హారర్ జానర్ పూర్వ వైభవాన్ని తిరిగి తీసుకువచ్చారు.

హారర్ జానర్‌కు తెలుగులో మంచి టార్గెట్ ఆడియన్స్ ఉన్నారు కానీ ఆ మార్కెట్‌ను ఎందుకో ఎవరూ పెద్దగా అన్వేషించలేదు. ఇంతకుముందు అరుంధతి వంటి సినిమాలు ఆ కాలంలో అద్భుతమైన వసూళ్లను సాధించాయి. మసూదా విజయంతో హారర్ సినిమాల ట్రెండ్ మరోసారి మొదలవుతుందని ఆశిద్దాం.

Masooda a small movie is the latest sensation in Tollywood. Critics and audiences are getting glued to this horror movie. The movie has received excellent reviews and also doing well at box office. The first three days have been terrific and the returns at the boxoffice are only growing day by day.

The film started with less screens and ordinary start at Box office. But with positive WOM the movie has jumped over day2 and trended like Day1 << Day2 << Day3 . On Day3 the film has collected more than triple of 1st day collections. Hyderabad city is the biggest revenue territory for Masooda. In nizam the film has collected around 1.3Cr gross for the 1st weekend , in Andhra pradesh the film has collected around 1Cr gross for the weekend.

Yesteryear actress Sangeetha has played a mother role in the movie who is on a mission to save her adolescent daughter from evil forces. She had always a good image as an actor and with this role she showed her potential once at again with a terrific performance.

Upcoming Actor Thiruveer also has impressed with his natural act while Bandhavi Sridhar was convincing in the role of a possessed girl.

The debut director Sai Kiran had did a fantastic job in dealing an interesting screenplay that keeps audience puzzled in second half. Horror genre was mixed with comedy from few years and its glory has been brought back by this debutant director.

As a result the collections are increasing as word of mouth is strongly growing. The third day has seen collections that are thrice that of day 1. This shows that content is the king any day.

Horror genre has good target audience in Telugu but the market hasn’t been explored much. Previously movies like Arundhati went on to become one of the leading grossers of that time. Hope the trend begins once again with the success of Masooda.

జబర్దస్త్ ఫేం సుడిగాలి సుధీర్ హీరోగా నటించిన గాలోడు సినిమా ఈ వారం విడుదలైన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. అయితే ఈ చిత్రం అనూహ్యంగా ఇప్పటివరకూ 4 కోట్ల గ్రాస్‌ వసూలు చేసి సంచలనం సృష్టించింది. బ్రేక్ ఈవెన్ మార్కును దాటసి లాభాల దిశగా దూసుకుపోతోంది. ఈ క్రమంలో గాలోడు సినిమా బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద ఈ వారాంతంలో యశోదను మించిపోయింది.

ఈ చిత్రం 2.5 కోట్లకి బిజినెస్ జరుపుకోగా.. ఇప్పటికే 80% థియేట్రికల్ హక్కులను రికవరీ చేసింది. జీరో హైప్‌తో విడుదలైన ఈ చిత్రం సుధీర్‌కు గణనీయమైన ఫాలోయింగ్‌ను కలిగి ఉందని ఇది చూపిస్తుంది. ప్రమోషన్‌లు ఏమీ పెద్దగా లేకుండానే ఇంతటి ఘన విజయం సాధించడం విశేషం. సూపర్ హిట్ అయిన నీ కళ్లే దీపావళి పాట ఈ సినిమా విడుదలకు ముందే ప్రేక్షకులను ఆకట్టుకుంది.

మరోవైపు, సమంత నటించిన యశోద ప్రారంభ వారాంతంలో మంచి కలెక్షన్లు తెచ్చుకున్నా, ఆ తర్వాత వారం రోజులలో అకస్మాత్తుగా పడిపోయింది. యశోద వదిలిన ఖాళీని గాలోడు వాడుకుంటున్నాడు. టాలీవుడ్‌లో మాస్‌ ఎంటర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్‌కు ఇప్పటికీ ప్రాధాన్యం ఉందని దీన్ని బట్టి తెలుస్తోంది. అలాంటి కంటెంట్ కోసం ప్రేక్షకులు ఎదురుచూస్తున్నారు.

సుడిగాలి సుధీర్ ఈ ఇమేజ్ ను పొందడానికి చాలా కష్టపడ్డారు మరియు జబర్దస్త్ షో వరకూ తను ఎల్లప్పుడూ బలమైన అభిమానులను ఆస్వాదించారు. అయితే ఆ పాపులారిటీని సినిమాల్లోకి అనువదించలేదు, తన మొదటి రెండు సినిమాలకు ప్రేక్షకులను థియేటర్లకు రప్పించడంలో సక్సెస్ కాలేకపోయారు.

సుధీర్ నటించిన తొలి సినిమా సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్ సుధీర్, తర్వాత కే రాఘవేంద్ర రావు దర్శకత్వ పర్యవేక్షణ వహించిన వాంటెడ్ పండుగాడ్.. ఈ రెండు సినిమాలను అందరూ ఏకగ్రీవంగా పూర్తిగా కొట్టిపారేశారు. కానీ గాలోడు సినిమా మాత్రం ప్రేక్షకులను అలరించడంలో సఫలం అయింది.

‘గాలోడు’ సినిమాతో సుధీర్ మాస్ ఆడియన్స్‌లో బలమైన మార్కెట్‌ని ఏర్పరచుకున్నట్లుగా కనిపిస్తోంది. కానీ అతను తన రాబోయే సినిమాల ఎంపికలలో చాలా తెలివిగా ఉండాలి కాని ఏదో సినిమాలు చేయాలి కాబట్టి కొంతమందిని సంతోషపెట్టడానికి సాధారణ స్క్రిప్ట్‌లను ఎంచుకోకూడదు. అందివచ్చిన ఈ మార్కెట్‌ను సుడిగాలి సుధీర్ తెలివిగా ఉపయోగించుకుంటారని మరియు రాబోయే రోజుల్లో ప్రత్యేకమైన కథలతో సినిమాలు చేస్తారని ఆశిద్దాం.
