బాబీ దర్శకత్వంలో రవితేజ, శ్రుతిహాసన్, ప్రకాష్ రాజ్ కీలక పాత్రల్లో నటించిన ఈ చిత్రానికి దేవిశ్రీ ప్రసాద్ సంగీతం అందించారు. మైత్రీ మూవీ మేకర్స్ ఈ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించింది.

Both Badri and Tholiprema re-release plans cancelled

With the success of Jalsa , Kushi re-releases, Pawan Kalyan’s old film Badri re-release were planned for 11th February and Tholiprema was all set to release on 14th February as a Valentine’s Day special. But as per the latest reports, both the movie’s release has been cancelled.

The reason for the cancellation of re-release is the disinterest in the fans. Because they felt it is not appropriate to drop the old films just to cash the craze and the fans themselves suggested it’s not a good time to re-release films with no occasion.

Now Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Gang Leader will be the only film which is re releasing on 11th February. The film also stars Sarath Kumar, Murali Mohan, Anandraj and Rao Gopal Rao in supporting roles. Directed by Vijay Bapineedu the film’s music is composed by Bappi Lahiri.

The re-release trend in the Telugu Film Industry got craze with Pokiri (2006) and it was followed by Jalsa (2008), Kushi (2001) and Okkadu (2003).

At first, it also excited the normal audience with the idea of the old movie’s re-release, but after a while it became monotonous with back-to-back films showered on the audience. The fans and organizers should maintain a gap and perfect timing for these re-releases.

Actor Suhas is building his career very well by performing different roles in each of his films. Suhas, whose film ‘Colour Photo’ was released on OTT during COVID-19, earned praise from Megastar Chiranjeevi for his work. His recent performance as a villain in HIT 2 surprised everyone.

The actor’s latest film ‘Writer Padmabhushan’ released on Friday, February 3. Written and directed by Shanmukha Prasanth, the film has received positive reviews from the audience. Suhas appears as a middle-class youth named Padmabhushan, while Ashish Vidyarthi, and Rohini are his parents in the movie.

As per the trade reports, ‘Writer Padmabhushan’ had an excellent Sunday at the box office, collecting over Rs 5 crores gross worldwide for 3 days. We can say that the film recorded the career-best numbers for Suhas. The film has also performed well overseas. It has reportedly grossed over $200k at the USA box office. In Nizam it crossed 1 crore mark.

Trade circles are expecting the film to collect over 10 crores gross worldwide in its full run. The film improved its collections by picking up more numbers on second day than first day, and the third day it has got terrific numbers.

Writer Padmabhushan’ is the story of a 25-year-old aspiring author named Padmabhushan living in Vijayawada, who sets off on a roller-coaster ride full of nice fun and simple emotions with his middle-class family. The movie’s cinematography was conducted by Venkat R. Shakamuri. Editing was taken care of by Kodati Pavan Kalyan and Siddharth Thatholu. Shekar Chandra and Kalyan Nayak composed the soundtrack of the film.

The huge remunerations in Telugu film industry are killing the movie quality

The production costs in the Telugu film industry have increased considerably over the last few years. What was once considered the budget of a full-length feature film is today equal to the marketing and promotions budget in many cases.

The trend of pan-India movies has further shot the budgets up with producers having to shell out 100s of crores for making movies. This has increased the risks and several producers are facing losses of 60- 100 crores on many films.

The heroes and directors are quoting record remunerations today a top hero is taking 100Cr remuneration and a star director is quoting in the range of 50Cr. The expense just for only the cast & crew of biggies in the Telugu film industry is crossing more than 150Cr for a producer. Due to this, some producers are now compromising on movie quality and scripts.

Recently, several movies in the Telugu film industry have crossed the 200Cr -250Cr budget mark. Despite huge budgets, the audience is not getting the feel of watching a top-notch quality film, and especially the VFX is very poor in several of these films. The making cost of the film is getting dried up because of the huge remunerations and while huge money is spent on the movies, the audience can not feel the grandeur and have a great viewing experience.

It’s been 4 weeks since Waltair Veerayya’s release, despite that, it is the first choice of the moviegoers. The film has collected more numbers than the new releases in its 4th weekend, which is an extraordinary achievement.

It is very well known that 3 new films have released for this weekend. Sandeep Kishan’s Michael, Naga Vamsi’s Butta Bomma have failed to impress the audience, and they resulted as a washout in the theaters while Writer padmabhushan performed successfully thanks to good occupancy in Major cities multiplex’s and overseas.

With the new releases not able to get noticed, Waltair Verayya dominated them in Telugu states as the film recorded house fulls on many screens for matinée and first shows and the collections were excellent in all centers.

Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya which is released for this Sankranthi, had a sensational start and continued the momentum over a couple of weeks. In fact, in several areas, Waltair Veerayya registered house fulls even on weekdays apart from weekends.

The film was released alongside Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy for Sankranti. This clash between Balayya and Chiru was won by Chiru who showcased his famous box office pull yet again after back-to-back setbacks, like Acharya and Godfather.

Directed by Bobby, Waltair Veerayya also stars Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles with Devi Sri Prasad composing the music. Mythri Movie Makers have bankrolled this project.

Will Mahesh Babu’s decision work big for SSMB 28?

SSMB 28 is currently in its production stage and has created massive hype thanks to Mahesh-Trivikram teaming up again. The duo has given iconic films like Athadu and Khaleja which continue to be classics and fan favourites even today. Mahesh had indicated quite early on that he doesn’t want a run-off-the-mill family drama that Trivikram has been doing off late.

While entertainment is an integral part of the movie, the treatment should be interesting enough and not repetitive. With this thought in mind, Mahesh has requested Trivikram to increase the entertainment dose. Firstly SSMB 28 was planned more on action and less on entertainment. But Mahesh decided to make it more entertainment-centric as he is doing the biggest action film with Rajamouli next so he wants an entertainer before that.

Mahesh’s personal intervention in this aspect is now making the unit focus more on providing wholesome entertainment and the movie will have a lot of comedy scenes from the Super Star. Whether this decision works or not, only time will tell.

Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela will be playing leads in this project directed by Trivikram. Mahesh Babu’s SSMB 28 is one of the most anticipated movies in Tollywood. Trivikram and Mahesh will reunite after 13 years and fans have placed lots of expectations on this project.

Kalyan Ram’s Amigos pre-release event was held in Hyderabad yesterday and it was a grand success. NTR was the chief guest for the event and his presence gave great energy to the movie unit as well as the fans present at the venue. Needless to say, fans’ energy levels were off the roof as well seeing their star on a public stage after a long time.

While NTR was there to wish his elder brother success for Amigos, fans were all eager to know about his next project NTR 30. Suma, who was hosting the event also prodded RRR star to give an update on the movie as the fans were eager to hear about it.

Tarak looked quite serious at this sudden change of topic and made a lighthearted remark about Suma being more invested in an update than fans. While speaking at the event, he requested the fans to not pressurize movie units to release an update every now and then.

“It is not possible to give an update every now and then. By asking for a constant update, the producers and directors come under pressure to release anything in the name of updates, and in the end, you will be disappointed,” he said.

“The movie will be launched this month and the regular shoot will happen from March. The film is slated to release on 5th April 2024,” he further added.

NTR certainly looked frustrated by this constant pressure to release updates. But the continuous delays on the project have frustrated fans to no end. It is to be noted that the actor is at a career peak. His last film RRR was released in March 2022 and his next film NTR 30 will start in March 2023 with release in April 2024. This gap of 2 years at his career peak is what’s bothering the fans.

కొరటాల శివ దర్శకత్వంలో తమ అభిమాన హీరో చేయబోయే ఎన్టీఆర్ 30 నుంచి ఏదో ఒక విషయం తెలుసుకోవాలని ఎన్టీఆర్ అభిమానులు చాలా రోజులుగా ఎదురుచూస్తున్నారు. అయితే చాలా కాలం నిరీక్షణ తర్వాత నందమూరి కళ్యాణ్ రామ్ కొత్త సినిమా అమిగోస్ ప్రీ రిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్ లో ఎన్టీఆర్ నుంచి వారికి శుభవార్త అందింది.

అభిమానుల అభిరుచి, ఉత్సాహం తాను అర్థం చేసుకోగలనని ఎన్టీఆర్ అన్నారు. అయితే వారి ప్రవర్తన ఒక్కోసారి నిర్మాతలు, దర్శకుల పై ఒత్తిడి పెంచుతోందని ఎన్టీఆర్ వివరించారు. ఒక అప్డేట్ ను ప్రేక్షకులతో పంచుకోవడానికి అది ఎంతో సమర్థవంతంగా ఉండాలని ఆయన తెలిపారు.

ఈరోజు ప్రతి సినిమా యూనిట్ ఈ సమస్యను ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారని తెలిపిన ఎన్టీఆర్.. ఏదైనా అప్డేట్ వస్తే తమ కుటుంబసభ్యుల కంటే ముందుగా ప్రేక్షకులతో పంచుకుంటామని ఎన్టీఆర్ అన్నారు. ఇతర ఆర్టిస్టుల పక్షాన కూడా తాను ఈ మాట మాట్లాడుతున్నానని ఎన్టీఆర్ మరోసారి వివరణ ఇచ్చారు.

2023 ఫిబ్రవరిలో ఎన్టీఆర్ 30 యొక్క పూజా కార్యక్రమాలు ఉంటాయని, మార్చి 20 లేదా అంతకంటే ముందే రెగ్యులర్ షూటింగ్ ప్రారంభమవుతుందని ఎన్టీఆర్ అధికారికంగా ధృవీకరించారు. అలాగే ముందుగా ప్రకటించినట్లుగానే 2024 ఏప్రిల్ 5న ఎన్టీఆర్ 30 విడుదల కానుందని భరోసా ఇచ్చారు.
