SSMB 28 is currently in its production stage and has created massive hype thanks to Mahesh-Trivikram teaming up again. The duo has given iconic films like Athadu and Khaleja which continue to be classics and fan favourites even today. Mahesh had indicated quite early on that he doesn’t want a run-off-the-mill family drama that Trivikram has been doing off late.
While entertainment is an integral part of the movie, the treatment should be interesting enough and not repetitive. With this thought in mind, Mahesh has requested Trivikram to increase the entertainment dose. Firstly SSMB 28 was planned more on action and less on entertainment. But Mahesh decided to make it more entertainment-centric as he is doing the biggest action film with Rajamouli next so he wants an entertainer before that.
Mahesh’s personal intervention in this aspect is now making the unit focus more on providing wholesome entertainment and the movie will have a lot of comedy scenes from the Super Star. Whether this decision works or not, only time will tell.
Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela will be playing leads in this project directed by Trivikram. Mahesh Babu’s SSMB 28 is one of the most anticipated movies in Tollywood. Trivikram and Mahesh will reunite after 13 years and fans have placed lots of expectations on this project.
