Rashmika trolled for her “I am from Hyderabad” comment at Chhaava event

Actress Rashmika Mandanna was a Kannada Actress, and she rose to fame with her Kirik Party, released in 2016. She grabbed few opportunities in Tollywood and attained stardom later continuing as a lead Actress since then. She has also recently worked for Chhaava which released yesterday. As part of promotions, the Actress while giving her speech said that she was from Hyderabad which didn’t go well with the netizens who are now trolling her badly.

Netizens, especially the ones from Karnataka, are not happy with Rashmika quoting her as from Hyderabad when she debuted and had a career in Sandalwood initially. They also trolled her for disowning her roots with this speech and backed people who troll her on this aspect.

Rashmika, in the past, made controversial comments about the Production House of Kirik Party which raised the eyebrows of a few netizens. Later, she also said that she didn’t watch Kantara when the film was ruling the roost becoming a sensational blockbuster. Netizens then also pointed out that she had ignored the film intentionally because it featured Rishab Shetty, the Director of Kirik Party.

So, these fresh comments have sparked criticism of her once again. The Actress is yet to respond to this. Meanwhile, Chhaava released yesterday and opened well. The film is an adaptation of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika played the role of his wife.

Ileana confirms second pregnancy

Actress Ileana delivered surprising news to her fans. The Actress confirmed her second pregnancy through her official Instagram Account. She posted a story of a picture containing snacks with a comment “Tell me you’re pregnant without telling me you’re pregnant..(Sic).”

Ileana has already given birth to a boy who she named Koa Phoenix Dolan last year after marrying Michael Dolan in 2023. She also uploaded pictures of his son and husband several times on social media platforms. Fans and Audiences are now excited to witness the news of her second pregnancy.

Ileana lastly worked for Do Aur Do Pyaar last year alongside Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, and Tera Kya Hoga Lovely alongside Randeep Hooda. She took a break afterward spending time on social media. There were also speculations of a second pregnancy interestingly for a while which became reality now.

Kerala Producers Call Shutdown

Kerala Producers are calling for a shutdown due to the sharp increase in the remunerations of cast and crew in recent years. However, if we compare with Telugu and Tamil industries, Malayalam artists charge relatively reasonable remunerations based on their market. 

Even then, Kerala producers are finding it a big burden to sustain themselves with the increase in remunerations. The Kerala Producers called for a shutdown from 1st June on movie shootings, exhibitions, and distribution. Also, it is being reported that they want to discuss with the government about taxes,

This is certainly a good call from producers. One cannot help but think that Why can’t Telugu and Tamil producers take similar action to control the rising costs, especially when most of the films in both industries, including star-studded biggies, are turning into cost failures? 

Now for many Telugu and Tamil films, the entire theatrical collection does not match the heroes’ remuneration itself. So, the makers should take a cue from the Malayalam Makers. Recently, the Kerala film industry was in the news because of the Hema Committee Report.

Manchu Vishnu’s Audition hope for Spirit

Tollywood Actor Prabhas and Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga have collaborated for their film, Spirit. The film is carrying great hype because of this combination and fans and audiences are also expecting the shoot to start soon. The Team has recently called for Auditions officially looking for aspiring Actors. Now, to everyone’s surprise, Manchu Vishnu has applied himself for this Audition hoping to see him in the film.

Manchu Vishnu quoted the official Tweet of the Production House, Bhadrakali Pictures, the home Production of Sandeep Reddy Vanga, that he had applied for the casting call and added, “Let’s wait and see.” This tweet is now going viral surprising many netizens for the interest Manchu Vishnu showed in the film. They are also bringing up the friendship bond between Prabhas and Manchu Vishnu.

Prabhas is also playing the role of Rudra in a Cameo appearance for Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa. The first look at this character was also revealed officially recently. So, fans and audiences now believe that Vishnu wants to give it back this way. We need to see how the Production Team and Sandeep Reddy Vanga consider his proposal.

On the other hand, Kannappa is gearing up for release on April 25 worldwide this year. The team has spent a huge budget on the film and also hopes to deliver a blockbuster. The first song of the film, Shiva Shiva Shankaraa was also released recently to great response.

Vishwambhara Moved Out of Summer

Vishwambhara is the upcoming big-budget fantasy film starring Megastar Chiranjeevi. The film is facing delays in its filming, which is affecting its theatrical release plans. The Mega fans will be disappointed with this news, but the latest reports suggest that Vishwambhara has been moved out of Summer.

Directed by Mallidi Vassishta, (who made Bimbisara starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the lead role), this mega-budget film was initially planned for this Sankranthi but due to the delay in VFX works, it was pushed to summer and there were reports that the makers are planning to release the film on 9th May.

Vishwambhara battles many issues

Now this fantasy film is said to be postponed again as VFX work is still taking time and the makers still need to lock non-theatrical business. There have been a lot of hurdles for the film to overcome and as said above,  Mega fans will be disappointed with this news, but the latest reports suggest that Vishwambhara has been moved out of Summer.

The film is likely to arrive in the 2nd half of 2025. A massive promotional content that could take the film’s buzz to the next level is required for the film to turn the tables and have a good result at the box office. 

As far as the film’s shooting is concerned, currently, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s introduction song is being shot in a massive set in Hyderabad under Shobhi master’s choreography. MM Keeravaani is composing music for the film.
