Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas has rocked the box office with its performance. The film also featured Bollywood Actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles along with Kamal Haasan. With all these, Kalki 2898 AD was able to gross nearly 1100 crores worldwide. Now, Kalki 2898 AD is available at 100 ruppes per ticket to watch. But this is only without taxes applied.

This has been confirmed by the team which tweeted officially with a poster on X/Twitter. They thanked the audience for the success of the film and as a token of appreciation, Kalki 2898 AD was made available for 100 rupees. This offer is available for one week starting from August 2nd. This week is also termed as Appreciation week by the makers in the poster.

Kalki 2898 AD has achieved many records. The film has managed to gross nearly 400 crores alone in the Hindi version. This is a phenomenal achievement for any actor without the brand of SS Rajamouli. Prabhas now also becomes the only actor other than Shah Rukh Khan to have two 1000 crores films worldwide. The film with this offer will comfortable gross more than 1100 crores worldwide. Kalki 2898 AD OTT streaming will start from August 23rd.

Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan released recently and bombed at the box office. The film didn’t match the expectations and failed miserably on the opening day itself. It has ended its run at the box office as it is running with disastrous occupancy. Indian 2 worldwide closing collections indicate it as a big disaster in the careers of both Shankar and Kamal Haasan.

Indian 2 has collected 52 crores gross in Tamil Nadu and 25 crores from the Telugu States. 9 crore gross has come from Karnataka and Kerala contributed a 5.75 crores gross. Rest of India added another 7 crores. Total Nationwide collections stand at 99 crores gross and the overseas market is reported to be 6.1 Million i.e., 51 crores. The total gross of the film is around 150 crores. This is a disastrous number in both Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s careers.

The film was expected to become a blockbuster at the time of announcement but the opposite happened which shocked everyone. Shankar is now in an embarrassing situation to revive the third part of the film, Indian 3. He also has Game Changer starring Ram Charan in the line up. We have to see what happens with these two films.

Kalki 2898 AD will be streaming on OTT from 23rd August. All The South versions will stream on Amazon Prime Video and Hindi version on Netflix. The film will set many records in terms of views even on the OTT platforms. It will trend on top for sure for many days. The film grossed nearly 400 crores alone in the Hindi Version worldwide. This is a great achievement for a film without the brand of SS Rajamouli who did it with Baahubali 2.

Prabhas also becomes the only actor other than Shah Rukh Khan to have two 1000 crore grossers worldwide. Shah Rukh Khan achieved this with his Pathaan and Jawaan. Prabhas is also the only Telugu Actor to have a 500 crore film without Rajamouli with Salaar. Prabhas has now cemented his position as a Pan Indian star. He is currently busy with his The Raja Saab.

Shankar still not bothered about Indian 2’s result?

Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan was a sequel to Yesteryear blockbuster, Indian/Bharateeyudu. The film released amidst great hype but experienced a brutal rejection from the audiences. The audience didn’t like the writing and direction of Shankar who was also trolled to the core. But it looks Shankar is still not bothered about Indian 2’s result.

Shankar was active on Twitter during the release date of Indian 2. He thanked the celebrities who had tweeted about Indian 2. But as the film became a debacle after the opening day, Shankar became silent and didn’t tweet afterwards. But surprisingly, he replied to a tweet of DOP Thiru who had praised Shankar’s efforts yesterday. The Director thanked the DOP for the tweet. But this doesn’t make sense at all. Thiru tweeting after these many days and Shankar even after the film becoming a disaster openly thanking the DOP for his tweet felt very odd.

It looks like Shankar doesn’t care about the result of Indian 2. He also has Indian 3 in the line up so he must have prepared himself to still believe Indian 2 had worked. This is absolutely embarrassing situation for Shankar. He also has Game Changer starring Ram Charan which also hangs in balance now with debacle of Indian 2. If Game Changer impresses, then Shankar may move on to Indian 3 with ease. But if this doesn’t happen then Shankar has to go through lot of troubles.

Mr. Bachchan starring Ravi Teja is scheduled for release this August 15th. The film is an official remake of Bollywood hit, Raid starring Ajay Devgan. Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead while Harish Shankar acts as the director. Mr. Bachchan’s teaser has also been released recently and met with a good response as well. Now, the team and makers have planned a unique promotion for Mr. Bachchan.

Ravi Teja talked and greeted the people via speakers on Metro trains of Hyderabad Metro. This appeared funny and also unique. He reminded them of the song, Jikki releasing tomorrow on YouTube and also appealed them to watch the film in theatres. This went viral on the internet today as well. The makers are busy in the post production works of the film. The pre-release event will also happen very soon.

Mr. Bachchan will face a stiff competition with Double Ismart, the sequel of Blockbuster, Ismart Shankar. Double Ismart is riding high with buzz and expectations. The film’s business has also been completed and done on a good level. The film is sold for 54 crores theatrically whereas Mr. Bachchan was sold for around 40 crores.
