Ram Charan’s much-awaited film Peddi has received a major boost ahead of its release, as the Telangana government has officially approved ticket price hikes for the entertainer.
Ticket Pricing Details
According to the latest Government Order (GO), the revised pricing structure offers significant flexibility for exhibitors:
| Theatre Type | Price Hike | Validity Period |
|---|---|---|
| Multiplexes | ₹150 per ticket | 10 days from release |
| Single Screens | ₹100 per ticket | 10 days from release |
The government has also granted permission for five shows per day during this period, giving exhibitors additional flexibility to accommodate the expected demand.
Special Premiere Show on June 3
Adding to the celebrations, the Telangana government has approved a special premiere show today, June 3. The maximum ticket price for this premiere has been fixed at ₹600, allowing fans to watch the film ahead of its official release.
Dual-State Approval Advantage
The approval for ticket price hikes comes as welcome news for the Peddi team, especially after the film had already secured permission for ticket hikes in Andhra Pradesh. With both Telugu states now backing the revised pricing structure, the makers are optimistic about the film’s box-office prospects.
The Telangana government's recent approach to ticket hikes has been closely watched by the industry, making this approval particularly significant for the Peddi team.
