Pawan Kalyan’s fans have a reason to celebrate as his highly anticipated film, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, has officially received the government order (GO) for ticket hikes in Andhra Pradesh. The approval guarantees a massive opening for the action entertainer, which is set to benefit from premium pricing across single screens and multiplexes.
Ticket Pricing and Show Timings in Andhra Pradesh
In Andhra Pradesh, the first shows will begin at 4 AM on March 19 with a flat ticket price of ₹500. For regular shows, the government has approved a ₹100 hike for single screens and a ₹125 hike for multiplexes. Theatre owners have been granted permission to run five shows per day for a period of 10 days, maximizing revenue during the crucial opening window.
Notably, there will be no midnight premieres on March 18. All shows will commence from the early morning of March 19.
Telangana Ticket Hikes and Holiday Advantage
The film will also receive ticket hikes in Telangana following the makers’ latest move. This dual-state approval sets the stage for a record-breaking opening across the Telugu states.
Adding to the film’s commercial prospects, Ustaad Bhagat Singh releases during the Ugadi festival, one of the biggest holidays in Telugu-speaking regions. The holiday advantage, combined with premium ticket pricing, positions the film for exceptional first-day collections.
Building Momentum Ahead of Release
The shooting of Ustaad Bhagat Singh began earlier, and the team has been releasing powerful updates to build anticipation. Industry observers are closely watching the film’s pre-release event and trailer launch, both of which are expected to amplify the buzz significantly.
With government approvals now in place for ticket hikes in both Telugu states, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is poised for a thunderous opening that could set new benchmarks for Pawan Kalyan’s theatrical releases.
