Anora had an amazing night at the Oscars, taking home five awards, with one of them being Best Picture. Directed by Sean Baker, “Anora” tells the story of a sex worker who develops feelings for the young son of a wealthy Russian businessman. Finally, Manamey On OTT

Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty’s film Manamey was released in theaters last June. The film received decent word of mouth and reviews but did not work at the box office. The makers and some reviewers also felt that it will work on OTT. However, the digital release of the film was delayed for a long time, and finally Sharwanand’s Manamey is arriving on OTT.

Manamey – Almost a Year Delay between Theatrical and OTT Release

The film deals with the concept of love/emotional bonding and family, so it will certainly be a good watch on OTT, and the audiences have eagerly waited for its digital streaming. As said above, Manamey’s OTT release was delayed continuously, and the producers said in an interview that they were cheated by a person regarding the non-theatrical rights deal, which was the reason for the OTT delay.

Finally, Sharwanand’s Manamey is arriving on OTT. The youthful family entertainer will be available for streaming on the popular platform Prime Video, and it is likely to stream from 9th March.

Directed by Sriram Aditya, Manamey stars Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles along with the kid Vikram Aditya, Seerat Kapoor, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ravindran, Ayesha Khan, Rahul Ramakrishna, Shiva Kandukuri, and Sachin Khedhekar, who appear in supporting roles. The film’s music was composed by Hesham Wahab Abdul.

Netflix announces Thandel streaming

The Recent blockbuster Thandel starring Naga Chaitanya is set for OTT entry. The film became the solo highest grosser in Naga Chaitanya’s career giving him a major lift. It grossed more than 90 crores worldwide making it a profitable venture for the Production House, Geetha Arts.

The film will be streaming on Netflix on 7th March in all major languages, namely Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The Audiences are also eager to watch it on the OTT platform once again for its breezy and romance-filled emotional saga. The songs composed by Devi Sri Prasad and the making of the film are also other assets.

Director of the film, Chandoo Mondeti has sculpted a beautiful tale mixed with heart-wrenching performances of both Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. Producer Allu Aravind has also risked high with this film, pouring in more than 40 crores for the budget alone, and these have all paid off. All these will surely raise the viewership and reception for the film on its OTT entry, and the team expects the same to happen.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam surpasses RRR and Hanuman on OTT

Sankranthiki Vasthunam starring Venkatesh, made a sensational performance at the box office this Sankranthi. The film has also grossed more than 300 crores worldwide along with a 150 crore share, shocking the trade analysts. The film also premiered on both TV and OTT yesterday to amazing reception. It created history by shattering all the previous records set by RRR and Hanuman on Zee5.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam received 100 Million+ viewing minutes and nearly 1.3 Million viewers in 12 hours. It is also said that many new subscriptions were added to the OTT platform, Zee5 yesterday just for the film. It is also expected to post good TRP on Zee Telugu Channel. There is no reception for many films recently on the TV, resulting in a bad TRP, but it is set to revive with Sankranthiki Vasthunam.

It is surely a great performance for Sankranthiki Vasthunam in all the departments, and the film has clearly struck gold with everything. The team has also announced a sequel and this will be taken up next year.

Actress Bhagyasree Borse, who is playing the lead actress in the film, was also involved in the test look. The film will be produced by Homable production. Fans will be delighted to know that Prabhas is getting involved in PVCU.

This film is said to be the biggest project of PVCU, and definitely the universe factor will add more excitement to this film among audiences along with the box office hype. Dabba Cartel Review – Interesting Plot but Weak Execution

Dabba Cartel is a new series on Netflix featuring stars like Shabana Azmi, Jyotika, Nimisha Sajayan, Shalini Pandey, and Anjali Anand in the main roles. It’s one of the newest shows available to stream. The trailer looked pretty good and got a lot of people excited to watch it. So, should you binge-watch Dabba Cartel? Check out our review to see what we think!

Story:

Dabba Cartel tells the story of Raji (played by Shalini Pandey) and her maid and business partner Mala (Nimisha Sajayan), who run a tiffin service. However, things take a turn when they end up having to deliver drugs hidden in their food boxes. As the plot thickens, a real estate agent named Shahida (Anjali Anand) and Raji’s mother-in-law Ba (Shabana Azmi) get involved, along with Varuna (Jyotika). Each of these women has her own reasons for getting mixed up in the drug trade, and they find themselves getting deeper into the dangerous world of the drug mafia.

Performances:

Shalini Pandey and Nimisha Sajayan really shine in their roles and have most of the good scenes. Both actresses have done an incredible job. Shabana Azmi brings her wealth of experience to a fascinating character, while Jyotika, who seems to take a backseat at first, makes her presence felt as the story unfolds.

Anjali Anand, Sai Tamhankar, and Gajraj Rao also make a strong impression. Jisshu Sengupta performs well, and Bhupendra Jadawat delivers a solid performance too. Sunil Grover is fantastic and arrives at the end of the show.

Analysis:

The series is created by Vishnu Menon and Bhavna Kher, with Hitesh Bhatia as the director. It kicks off with a captivating start, and the first three episodes are pretty good. But as the show goes on, it starts to feel a bit boring and drawn out, lacking the excitement it needs.
While there are some surprising twists, they aren’t presented in a way that really grabs your attention.

On paper, Dabbad Cartel seems like it would be an awesome show about ordinary women getting involved in drug dealing.

However, Bhatia’s direction doesn’t quite hit the mark. The characters could be better developed. For instance, the dynamic between Shahida and Preeti could have been more engaging, especially considering their close relationship and work-related issues. Plus, Ba’s character, which begins strong, ends up making some silly choices just to back her backstory.

The emotional turmoil that Raji, played by Shalini Pandey goes through is good, and all the other leading women characters should have also had the same inner struggle. The ending tries to give shock value, but it looks more forced, and a better ending to the Raji-Ba conflict would have made the series a much better one.

Dabba Cartel Web Series Review and Verdict:

Dabba Cartel has an interesting plot, but it is handled weakly. Despite fantastic performances from the cast, especially from Shalini Pandey and Nimisha Sajayan, and the initial episodes, the show lacks exciting moments that would keep one really interested, and it doesn’t quite live up to the expectations.

Recently, fans and audiences were happy that his Hari Hara Veera Mallu was slated for release on 28th March worldwide. The film already faced many delays, and the team waited for Pawan Kalyan’s dates to finish it off. But it looks impossible now with the Actor delaying it again. Hari Hara Veera Mallu is mostly postponing, and this is surely disappointing news for the fans and audience again.

With this, MAD Square and Robinhood have occupied the date 28th March, which has also been confirmed a while ago. Apart from this, OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh, which were put on hold, stand at an uncertainty now with Pawan Kalyan’s attitude. The team of OG announced that Pawan Kalyan would be joining the sets, but this didn’t happen. And the update about Ustaad Bhagat Singh has come since a long time. The makers have spent huge on the 1st and second schedules along with actors’ remuneration and pre-production works.

Producers of all the three films of Pawan Kalyan have been suffering with huge amounts at stake with this delay. 28th March would have been a great release period for Hari Hara Veera Mallu. There are also Ramzan and Ugadi festivals slated in the first week of April kicking off the ideal summer slot with continuous holidays. Missing this date will be a great blow to the film. Fans are very serious about Pawan Kalyan for pushing the films further. The fate of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh lies only in the hands of Pawan Kalyan.

MAD Square preponed

MAD Square directed by Kalyan Shankar and produced by Sithara Entertainments is all set for its release. But the film’s release date depended on the release date of Hari Hara Veera Mallu starring Pawan Kalyan. The makers of MAD Square earlier announced the release date of the film for 29th March and there were also plans of postponing, but it has been postponed now.

MAD Square will be arriving on 28th March, as confirmed by the Producer, Naga Vamsi. He announced this on his official X/Twitter handle, adding that the date, 29th March fell on Amavasya, and distributors urged him to have a different date. This will also invite a clash with Robinhood starring Nithiin which was also confirmed to release on 28th March.

The Producer’s tweet has also confirmed the postponement of Hari Hara Veera Mallu indirectly with no reference to the film. He thanked only Nithiin and the Director of the film, Venky Kudumula, ignoring Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s crew, indicating the film will have another release date. This is surely disappointing news for the fans of Pawan Kalyan.

Suzhal Season 2 is a sequel to the superhit web series created by Pushkar and Gayatri. The series already started streaming on Prime Video and received positive responses. Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi was a big disappointment in theaters. Only a few percent of his fans are excited for the film’s OTT release, and we have to wait and see how the film will be received by regular OTT viewers.

Chhaava records highest Third Saturday ever, beats Pushpa 2

Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal is taking the box office on a storm. The film has rocked the theatres since its release with a unanimous positive response and word of mouth. No, it has collected more than 20 crore Nett in its 3rd Saurday beating the record held by Pushpa 2 of 18 crores on Third Saturday.

On its Third Friday, Chhaava has collected an All Time Record and even on the Third Saturday, it created another All Time Record. It has also crossed the 400 crore Nett mark and today has also promised another record 3rd Sunday performance. Chhaava also becomes the 9th film to cross 400 crore Nett in India and 6th Bollywood film to have achieved this.

At this pace, Chhaava will definitely go beyond 500 crores and whether it will reach 550 crores range depends on its long run. The film needs two more strong weekend performances to sail over this record. There is, however, Stree 2 which has collected more than 600 crores and we need to see how close Chhaava would come close to this number. Chhaava has also catapulted the career of Vicky Kaushal, making him the big thing currently in Bollywood.
