Nani will meet USA fans and visit Dallas theaters as a part of Hi Nanna’s promotions. It is widely known that the latest film of Natural Star Nani, Hi Nanna, has been released in theaters worldwide today. Though the openings are ordinary, the film’s response from the audiences and critics has been positive.

The USA is the strongest market for Nani, and it is also the best-performing territory for Hi Nanna currently. So Nani’s visit will definitely help the movie’s promotion significantly. It was already informed by the USA distributor that Nani will be meeting USA fans and visiting Dallas theaters.

After returning from Sri Lanka, the Daggubati family will host a reception in Hyderabad for film, political, and business personalities. The photos and videos of the wedding ceremony are going viral on the internet.

Daggubati Abhiram made his Tollywood debut with ‘Ahimsa’ directed by Teja. The movie, released in theaters in June this year, was a disaster at the box office. The leading OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video, has acquired the digital rights to the movie. Six months after the theatrical release, the film was available for streaming. It has to be seen whether the film, which has wholly disappointed the audiences, will impress the viewers in OTT.

The web series was received well by audiences, and it is undoubtedly the best web series from Tollywood. It is trending at the number one position on Prime Video. The web series was made on a massive budget with 100 working days.

According to the producer of Dhootha, Sharrath Marar, In July, Dhootha was finished, and the team gave the final copy to Amazon. The OTT platform informed the series makers that they must take time and work on the dubbing and subtitling. The task took them more than five months to complete. That process was very new to the Dhootha team. Dhootha Producer is overjoyed with the response.

Salaar has no chances to break Leo’s Overseas opening. It is widely known that Pan-Indian star Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar will be released on December 22nd. The film’s overseas bookings opened recently, and though the trend is good, Salaar has no chances of breaking Leo’s overseas opening.

Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo took a phenomenal opening with 8M+ on day 1, a record-breaking opening for Kollywood, and it also happens to be a Non-SSR record opener Overseas. The trend of Salaar in overseas before the postponement was sensational, and everyone expected the opening to be equal to Rajamouli movies overseas.

But now the current trend is not as heavy as before. As said above, the bookings are strong, and Salaar will deliver excellent numbers, but getting numbers in the range of Baahubali 2, RRR, and Leo seems not possible now.

The combo of Prashant Neel and Prabhas should aim to join this club, break Leo, and emerge as the number-one overseas opener this year. However, the buzz and promotional content did not generate the required buzz to help the film enter the club mentioned above, and the movie also has competition with big Hollywood films like Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom scheduled to be released simultaneously.

Salaar will also face competition from the Indian film Dunki, so it will not have the most significant release like the previous date. So the movie has no chance to break Leo and emerge as this year’s number-one Overseas opener. Leo will likely continue as the number-one opener for overseas this year. 

The movie, starring Prabhas in the lead role, is an action-packed drama that has been in the making for over two years. The Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran is set to make his Telugu debut with this movie. Shruti Haasan, Jagapati Babu, Eshwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy are the other actors in the film.

The film, directed by Prashanth Neel, will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi, on December 22, 2023.

Cyclone Michaung : ZEE5 postponed Veerappan streaming date

ZEE5 postponed the Veerappan series streaming date because of Cyclone Michaung. The highly anticipated six-part document series, Koose Munisamy Veerappan – Unseen Veerappan Tapes, will be streamed on Zee5 from December 14, instead of the originally planned December 8. The series promises to present exclusive interview footage of the notorious forest robber, Veerappan. Becuase of Cyclone Michaung, ZEE5 postponed the Veerappan series’ streaming date.

Nakkheeran Gopal, who had extensive interactions with Veerappan, confirms that the series includes exclusive video interview clips with the notorious poacher and bandit, which is the main highlight. Sharath Jothi is the director of the show, which promises a fascinating glimpse into Veerappan’s life through these unreleased tapes.

The decision to postpone the release is attributed to the current situation in Chennai. As heavy rains and cyclone Michaung are affecting the city, the OTT platform thought it would be better to stream the series when the situation gets to normalcy.
